Re: Erza's Japanese Clothes Edit

I'm sorry, but by definition, Erza's Japanese Clothes are not armor. They grant no special ability nor were they ever stated to be an armor. They are simply apart of Erza's wardrobe, and regular clothing doesn't get a page.

  • If she wore the Goth Lolita outfit more than once would that make it an armor? It does make it significant somewhat, but it's not an armor
  • Erza can requip anything from armors, to pajamas, to swords, to cooking knives. If her requipping something was enough for it to have a page, then the dress she wore during the beginning of the Tower of Heaven outfit would have it's on page. And the Japanese-like Clothes should have never been on any page, which is why I took it off her actual article multiple times
  • That's because the Seduction Armor, although irrelevant, is an actual armor. If she would've just thought about requipping Lingerie instead of an actual armor, then there would be no Seduction Armor page.

I can assure you this page will not be created. Many people hold the belief that since she wears it multiple times in the series it can be considered an armor, but it can't. It's just clothing, and to be honest it's not much of that either. It's really just a pair of pants and some bandages. Not all info that is deleted is vandalism. We had a page called "the number 7" that detailed the mystery of the number 7 in Fairy Tail, and despite it being accurate we deleted it as we don't have pages like that.  Iam...JakuhōRaikōben  02:14,10/8/2011

I believe that there is an issue in what we define as an "armor" here. In general definition, an armor is a set of protective gear, and in the rather "medieval" setting of Fairy Tail, armor involves mostly metallic/heavy/sturdy gearment. But this is not really the case here, as in Erza's case an armor can be defined as every set of equipment that can be Requiped by Erza that is used to cover her body that is used in combat. Seduction Armor, has "armor" in the name, but it does not either grant any special ability (or none that is known). The Robe of Yūen for example is only elastic, not really a "combat" ability like the Fire Empress, the Sea Empress, or Armadura Fairy who are likewise more "combat-like" and more prone to be called "armors", and it also has its page. Besides and I'm not sure if you read it, but as I've stated the Japanese Clothes do have an "indirect" benefit. The fact that it gives no defense, it forces her to go all out and take her opponent in that single chance, and in every instance that she does manage to land her attack she defeats her opponent in that strike. There is the "ability" it gives. It does not need to have "armor" in the name to be an "armor". It needs to be story-wise relevant and therefore be used in combat for it to be an armor. So, I still believe we need to see it from the perspective of what we call "armor" here. --BGMaxie 02:33, October 8, 2011 (UTC)

No, what we define Erza's "armors" as is generally any armor or clothing she wears that has a special ability or some sort of Magical Property. Seduction Armor could have had a charm like effect, but since it hasn't been used in battle we don't know. However we do know that it is an armor since it has armor in the title. The Robe of Yuen has a Magic ability though, we never stated that the armors had to be combat orientated. Did you forget about the Adamintine Armor? It grants no known offensive capabilities, but superior defensive capabilities. That's a logical fallacy within itself. Erza doesn't go all out because she requips the clothing, she requips the clothing so she can go all out and put forth all her Magic Power for offense. And even if it was how you said, that is not an ability that's grasping at straws at best. No, you say it needs to have been relevant in the story, we say that it needs to actually be an armor. We don't create pages for articles of clothing no matter how many times Erza uses them. If her clothing shows some sort of Magical ability then it can have a page, but until then, it won't.  Iam...JakuhōRaikōben  02:47,10/8/2011

If I remember correctly, Erza changed into those clothings so her heart wouldn't be "encased in armor". Then she got nakama power. Bickslow DollRelikz Talk 02:53, October 8, 2011 (UTC)

Re:Page Guilds Edit

Sorry for the late reply. Joining a guild means that you simply dedicate yourself to one or more of our guilds and their purposes, but that doesn't mean that you are limited to one area of editing. You are still free to do edit whatever you please so long as it's correct. The only exception would be the fight pages, those must be created by Fight Summary Guild Mages, but after they are created and finished anyone can edit them. Hope this helps, and if not feel free to ask me anymore questions you may have.  Iam...JakuhōRaikōben  19:23,11/12/2011

Re: The Cana IssueEdit

The point here isn't "My way", "your way" or whatever, is the reduction itself: if the section needed to be reduced, we might have deleted all the parts about her minor outfits, leaving behind just, say, her usual one and the Tenrou one, and removing the Miss Fairy Tail one, the Fantasia one, the one reminiscent of her first outfit and so on. Deleting parts of her physical appearance which distinguish her from other characters (which, when it comes to manga, isn't that common...), as well as aspects which change as the series goes on, is futile: what will deleting few words from various sentences to do the section? It will remain the same. If you wanted to drastically shorten it, the above mentioned, unnecessary outfits might have been a way better choice. Not mention that other Wikis, including One Piece Wiki (which I think might be considered the best one for manga/anime standards) list changes which characters undergo due to the author's "maturation" in drawing style profusely, not to mention including manga/anime differences.

I'm not THAT sure about the One Piece Wiki, although I agree there are things that I personally find better there than here, but that's a matter of personal choice on how I believe pages should be like, and a concern I may voice later. Regarding the edits I can't say for sure cuz I did not manage to see the edits done by Rauleli, so I'm kind of surpassed in that area. Nonetheless if we all agree that some "irrelevant" content can be removed, then can I go ahead with it, or you want to do it yourself? To see how you want it, if not I will edit it and then you put back whatever you feel was left behind. Which one sounds better? --BGMaxie 16:21, January 15, 2012 (UTC)

The edits I do aren't my property, they're here at everyone's disposal. You should feel free to do anything you want...

I'm going to handle the text reduction of her appearance section, I'll be sure to keep and re-add all the important parts, if they are indeed important. I'll even be willing to forgive the bologna my delusional and furry friend said about the One Piece Wiki being the best anime/manga wiki.  Iam...JakuhōRaikōben  20:10,1/15/2012

Re:Favour Edit

Sure, what's up?   Iam...  00:59,4/8/2012  JakuhōRaikōben

Well it happens that I've been working on a wiki (Future Diary wiki to be precise) which is kind of new, there are few members and I was made an admin recently. Issue is that our wiki lacks some things like background image (like the one with Natsu and Lucy on this wiki) and I just don't know how to add it properly, think you can help me with that? --BGMaxie 01:10, April 8, 2012 (UTC)

Sure, do you need me to create one or do you already have one and you just need me to teach you how to upload it?   Iam...  01:19,4/8/2012  JakuhōRaikōben

I have a good image already, first I need to test how does it look updated, in case I need to edit a bit with paint, and that's my first concern now. --BGMaxie 01:21, April 8, 2012 (UTC)

To update your wikis background, wordmark, color theme or any other basic appearance feature, go to Special:ThemeDesigner.   Iam...  01:23,4/8/2012  JakuhōRaikōben

I see, it IS working, thanks. But is there a way to remove or change KB limits? --BGMaxie 02:20, April 8, 2012 (UTC)

No problem, and there are some codes that allow you to remove the limits, but I don't know what they are.   Iam...  02:22,4/8/2012  JakuhōRaikōben
I see, do you know "who knows"? just in case? If not it is no trouble it seems that I can try a things of my own, but it certainly would be useful. --BGMaxie 02:28, April 8, 2012 (UTC)
Unfortunately I don't.   Iam...  02:30,4/8/2012  JakuhōRaikōben
Haha, no worries, you were a big help man, I was capable to successfully add a background, your help was really useful. You're more than welcome to come to the Future Diary Wiki, it is new, but is growing slowly and nicely. The series is nice and surely somebody as experienced as yourself would surely be of help =) --BGMaxie 02:55, April 8, 2012 (UTC)

(reset indent)It was no problem at all and the background looks great! Thanks for the invitation. :)   Iam...  03:00,4/8/2012  JakuhōRaikōben

BTW a lil thing I noticed in the "Did you know?" part of the main menu. I'm guessing those "changes" were made for "April Fool". If so how long are you gonna keep them there? Not that it annoys me, but it somehow looks weird D: --BGMaxie 03:15, April 8, 2012 (UTC)
Ah, forgot about those, hey'll be removed soon.   Iam...  03:22,4/8/2012  JakuhōRaikōben
