After looking at various recent battle game projects for various anime/manga-related franchises, I've been wondering what a Fairy Tail fighting game would be like. There are many aspects of such a game to consider, one of which is how various characters play and the differences between them.

In fighting games, various characters play differently from others - some are fairly well balanced, some are slow but hit hard and can take hits, some are fast but don't take or deal heavy damage, some fight at a distance or at close quarters, some focus on a gimmick - after all, it wouldn't be as interesting if every character was exactly the same. Usually, things are arranged such that there is a nice balance between the characters.

My question is this:

If a Fairy Tail fighting game was to be made, what types of play-styles do you think would fit various characters?
