Gray Waiter

Gray Fullbuster SMA
This month's Sexiest Mage Alive is Gray Fullbuster. He's an 18 year old Mage of Fairy Tail that employs Ice-Make Magic as his main form of Magic. He's a loyal young man who has an exhibitionism problem. He came to the Fairy Tail Guild years ago after his parents were killed by a Demon and his guardian was killed sealing that same demon.

Quote April

(Gray Fullbuster to Lucy Heartfilia)"I don't care where I get hurt, as long as my injuries are visible."

Rauleli This Month in the Anime

I want to start off THIS MONTH IN THE ANIME by advertising my fight prediction. Now let's get started!

TMITA - The Starting Sky

The eleventh opening, The Starting Sky, debuted this month in Episode 125, Magic Dance Ball. It relates to the filler Key of the Starry Sky arc.

Lucy with a mysterious key

Ok, the start of the opening is very slow and unappealing (though I love the echo) while the characters' new appearances are shown. Then, the filler stuff quickly take over. First we see an old man who seems to be performing a dark ritual and is quickly covered by Kinana. Could this old man be the person who turned Kinana into a snaked named Cuberos when she was younger? Then we see what seems to Lahar fighting a mechanical teddy bear. WTF? Then it's Lucy's relative who seems to have a very important role in the filler arc and then the Jiggly Butt Gang. Ewww right? Then come the action parts.

Natsu and Romeo seem to be fighting a guy who Tutles thinks is related to Cobra, but I don't see it. Then Lucy is running from who obviously is Coco's Earth Land counterpart. Then a guy, who is also obviously Sugarboy's Earth Land counterpart, sends some kind of slime towards Gray and Lyon, who freeze it. Then, Hughes's Earth Land counterpart, who is a female XD, seems to be controlling Mirajane. Dang! lol @ Lily's hater. And finally, a guy controlling a giant Octopus. Could he be Byro's Earth Land counterpart?

All in all, the opening was awesome! Because it's been over a year sice I've seen an opening that actually leaves me wondering what the arc is about. Throughout the opening, and also the ending, we keep seeing a key wrapped in bandages. What role will it take in the filler arc? Keep watching and find out!

TMITA - Glitter

The eleventh ending, Glitter (Starving Trancer Remix), debuted this month in episode 125, Magic Dance Ball. It features epic Lucy with her new outfit.

Chibi Lucy!

Well this ending has Lucy written all over it. Awesome! Lucy's past is explored and her relationship with her dad seems to be an important part of the arc. The ending isn't very long, but what I'm most interested in is those gears and tools which gives me various ideas about what the filler arc might be about.

TMITA - Ep124
Older Exceed

The Empty Seven Years was a transition episode without much action. It starts with all the FT members talking in the guild, Romeo showing his Rainbow Fire Magic which looks different in the manga, Macao getting to keep his position as a weak, useless master, Bisca and Alzack telling Erza that they are now married and have Asuka as a daughter, Reedus's drawings of Happy, Carla and Lily as if they were older, and Wendy still is flat (much to Remnant13's liking). Then Lamia Scale arrives and joins in the fun, especially Lyon who immediately falls in love with Juvia (who imagines Pandemonium) and now we have Fairy Tail's first love triangle. Yay!

Pandemonium!

So after finding out from her really creepy Landlady that she owes 5,800,000 Jewel, Lucy heads to Love & Lucky to find her father ans ask him for money. When she arrives, she struck by the news that her father has died *cries* I need a moment... Ok, I'm good now. So even though her father died, Lucy seems to be unable to cry about it. Tough. Meanwhile, Makarov, Erza and Mirajane (3 beasts) head to Twilight Ogre to settle FT's debt in the past 7 years, but since the ugly master refuses, the 3 of them go wild! I was hoping the anime would've shown at least a little bit of the fight, but they disappointed me. At the park, Lucy's landlady shows up in some of Lucy's clothes (I'm going to have nightmares about it) and drags Lucy back into her apartment saying that somebody sent the money to pay for her rent along with other gifts. All of them are from her father, along with a letter, which after reading it, Lucy finally manages to cry and say that she loved her father.

TMITA - Ep125
Dancing

Fairy Tail prepares itself for a Magic Dance Ball. I liked the way the episode started. Everyone learning to dance, people pairing with each other and having fun. Though why do the animators try to ship Gray and Lucy a lot? Warren X Wendy? Ew, Warrendy. I was hoping more of Romeo X Wendy since they are about the same age. Yes, Romendy. Bickslow X Cana? That's the first time I've ever seen that pairing. I don't like it as much as I like this but oh well. Lastly, Freed X Erza? Ew, Freed is gay. The rest of the episode was boring so I'm done.

TMITA - Ep126

In Episode 126, The Truly Evil Jiggle Butt Gang, stupid things happened.

I hated this episode so much that I don't want to waste my time reviewing it. So just enjoy this image until you get tired, but we all know that's not going to happen.

Erza
TMITA - Ep127

In The Terror of Invisible Lucy Happy starts the episode by reading Lucy's books about an invisible Phantom which, in my opinion, was awesome since the phantom reminded me of the Phantom Renegade of an old anime I used to watch when I was like 6 or 7. After kicking Natsu and Happy out of her house, Lucy takes a bath with a Magical ointment she had created 7 years ago to make her skin look better, but after all those years the effects of it had changed, so she becomes invisible. Lucy then heads to Fairy Tail to find a solution to her problem. So she walks around town NAKED and starts doing sexy poses Perv

.
Lucy the Man
She is then licked XD by a dog, little kids play with her body and is then touched by Natsu. The animators are really perverted... The Fairy Tail members then start drawing her a face which all of them made me laugh, but the best one was Elfman's. Lucy looks so hilarious with Elfman's face. Some members of FT then start thinking about making Gemini be the new Lucy forever. I loved it! But then the episode got boring. Lucy becomes completely invisible and disappears from people's memories, yet Natsu suddenly remembers her and she reappears again. Natsu saved the day yet again for the 4000 billionth time... great. Then the ointment falls on top of everyone else and they all become invisible. Too bad for Jet, Droy, Max, Wakaba, Vijeeter, Macao and Reedus because nobody will ever remember them XD just kidding. Don't hate me if you are a fan of any of them *cough*
TMITA - Ep128
Mysterious Key

Ok, after the last two random filler episodes, it seems we are finally getting into the story filler episodes with Father's Memento. So Michelle Lobster, a distant relative of Lucy who is supposed to be older but because of the seven year timeskip Lucy is supposed to be older but that doesn't matter yet stupid Micheele still calls Lucy as if she was older than her, arrives at Fairy Tail with a special case containing a memento that Lucy's father has left for her. The memento is a key which really has nothing interesting about it. *skips boring and uninteresting part* Team Natsu goes on a job to capture some bandits and Michelle goes with them see first hand what Mages are like. GAY! The bandits are HOMOSEXUALS! I didn't expect that to happen, but the next part was totally expected. Team Natsu whooped ass. Team Natsu heads back to the guild and accidentally activate the memento, which leads Lucy to think that her father has left a riddle behind for her to solve. I honestly have no idea why the key was glowing and levitating so yeah... Anyway, after pondering about why Lucy tried using Fleuve d'étoiles instead of her keys and then failing to activate it, I've come to the conclusion that Lucy didn't demonstrate her power in front of Michelle because later on this arc Michelle will become the villain and try to fight Lucy, only to get her ass handed to her.

So why is there a giant mechanical teddy bear destroying churches? Why is the Magic Council so involved in it? Who really is Michelle? What is Jude Heartfilia's Memento to Lucy? I hope all these answers and more are revealed in the next issue of THIS MONTH IN THE ANIME.

April 2012

Ready for four new fresh chapters to be reviewed, guys? Then let us not waste any time, let's get going!

Signature tune!

I - Chapter 277: Stockings[]

TMITM - Ch 277

Following the cover page summing up the results so far, commented by the two obnoxious adorable Exceeds Lector and Frosch, we're immediately thrown in the infirmary, where Natsu and Wendy are resting, looked after by Porlyusica, Charle and Lucy. The latter leaves without the fortune-telling Exceed telling her anything about her vision, considering it a mere dream. Seriously Charle, you're useful as an asshole on the elbow. Let's just move on...

Ronald's Pimp Hand

"Armor Guy" (without his signature armor) brutalizing Flare (without her signature boobs): "You don't act pathetically with Fairy Tail, bitch!".

Readying to face off in the sandy arena are Kurohebi, Raven Tail's 2nd place from the last contest, and Toby, that lion/dog/something fellow from Lyon's team (referred as an hound throughout the chapter... Who would have guessed that...). You know, "Ooooon!". Before confrontation ensues, Lucy glances at Raven Tail, with Flare teasingly staring back... Covered in bruises. What happened? We soon discover when the so-called Armor Guy (unofficial name of course, you might as well refer to him as Mazinger, Grendizer or Ronald) starts brutalizing her for her pathetic figure in her fight with Lucy. Flare tries holding her tears back and begs as her pimp fellow teammate bitch-slaps punishes her. Well, what to say. We might be talking about chivalry, respect for women, comraderie... This guys seems to lack all of such concepts. Unless hiding under the armor we have... A girl! Could you guess that? It would be kind of weird... Besides, being a Mashima's Angel, shouldn't she have an humongous chest, preventing her from wearing that tight-fitting cuirass? Or, maybe... Maybe she's completely flat (just like a minority of other characters), and thus enjoyins picking on her buxom teammate out of envy...!

... Though I'm still quite sure that behind that armor must be the Vanish Brothers. Both of them. Hell yeah.

Returning to the chapter, the fight starts. Toby extends his nails and goes to the offensive, trying to slash Kurohebi, presumably employing an enhanced version of his paralyzing substance... Maaaan, you really improved over those 7 years, didn't you? The other evades all blows and then disappears in sand... Only to reapper striking Toby, revealing his Mimic Magic, which he used to copy Max Alors' Sand Magic, much to the latter's dismay. What's the matter, Max? When did he copy it from you? Were you waving your butt around at people again? Toby, informed that "Kurohebi" isn't his opponent's real name, makes a bet with him: if he was to win, Raven Tail's Mage will tel him his real name; if, on the other hand, Kurohebi emerged victorious, Toby will tell him his so-called "super secret". Willing to learn what secret a doggish dude could have (bones buried in the garden? An hot female doggy living nearby? A long-lasting friendship with Reginald?), Kurohebi owns Toby and demands his "reward". Toby, with tears in his eyes, goes on to reveal his secret... The lack of a sock, which he hasn't been able to find even searching for three months. Toby's guildmates cry as well, just as Kurohebi points the missing piece of clothing's position, the own chest of the Lamia Scale's Mage, to Toby, much to his and Erza's delight. Seriously, there's something wrong here... Toby acnowledges Kurohebi as a good guy just as the Raven Tail nears him and extends one hand... Are the winner and the defeated going to shake hands? Does Raven Tail have honorable members? Does Pippa know her nickname is informal Italian for "masturbation"? All these questions fill our mind, as Kurohebi's hand reaches for Toby's sock and TEARS IT TO PIECES BEFORE HIS OWN EYES! Toby despairs, his guildmates stare in anger and Erza has to be held down by Gray as a satisfied Kurohebi leaves the arena, his fellow guildmates laughing their asses off at his evil deed. What to say... WE'RE ALL WITH YOU, TOBY! DON'T WORRY, WE'LL GET YOU ANOTHER PAIR OF SOCKS!

As we're left to wonder whether none felt like asking Toby why was he wearing a single sock and had the other hanging from his neck in three entire months, the next battle is announced... As requested by the King himself, who here makes an obscured appearance (partially due to him being tall as a jar), the next fight has Quatro Cerberus' Bacchus pitted against... Fairy Tail's Elfman! The King complains about his trusty Arcadios (you know, that square-nosed fanboy of Zeref) having organized the wrong match, with Elfman fighting in Erza's place; something unimagninable, given the King's perfectly clear instructions (the last part was supposed to be sarcastic, just so you know). As everyone worries or rejoices at the thought of the Take Over Mage being pitted against a powerful fellow such as Bacchus, Quatro Cerberus' eternal drunkard proposes a bet to Elfman, like Toby did with Kurohebi: his victory will grant him a night with both of Elfman's sisters, Mirajane and Lisanna, at the same time. Bacchus loses a fair share of his fanboys/fangirls, more attached to the two girls, as Elfman states he'll crush him for saying such a thing. The two ready for battle. The chapter ends with Natsu waking up alone in the infirmary, and noticing a smell he doesn't know drifted through the air. Wonder what that could be...

The chapter, living up to Mashima's standards in terms of art, didn't have colored or double pages, but made up for this lack with an incredibly funny and yet dramatic scene: Toby's "secret" and Kurohebi's reaction were surely worth reading, and the whole matter, the chapter's namesake, came as something original and unexpected.

II - Chapter 278: Elfman vs Bacchus[]

TMITM - Ch 278

The chapter starts with Natsu leaving the infirmary, following after that unfamiliar smell he had perceived, and running across some weird fellows, carrying on their backs the unconscious guildmates who were previously by his side. Natsu runs after them, powing one who, having lost the way to one of Sergio Leone's sets (much like Alzack and Bisca, to tell it all... They managed to bear a child during such time which had them lost... The director, known for his bad temper, must be enraged... If he wasn't dead, that is. R.I.P.!) tries attacking him with double revolvers, and soon taking the others, who were seemingly after a single girl, from behind. Noooope, not in that sense...

Meanwhile, the battle has started, and there don't appear to be many surprises... Elfman is powerless before Bacchus, being unable to land blows on him. Beast Arm, however, doesn't give up, and continues assaulting the opponent with... A new complete Take Over, granting him enhanced speed and the evocative name of Weretiger (after werewolves and werecars, that had to be the next to come...)! Elfman, that's great! It's awesome that you mastered new transformations! Overusing steroids wasn't the only thing you did in those three months, uh? Nice, really nice! We're proud of you! Look at you, assaulting your foe in your spotted fur, you're so massive and mighty... Especially as your hits miss and Bacchus slams you to the floor. Poor thing. Guess cool transformations aren't enough to stand up to someone at Erza's level, if not higher...

Beast Soul Lizard Man

Just tell me they have got nothing to do with this...

As Elfman has his ass beaten by the most notorious drunkard around, Erza goes on to explain the above-mentioned drunkard's abilities: his basic form of Magic, focusing Magic Power in the palms of his hand, perfectly complements his fighting style based on palm strikes, which receives further improving when he drinks alcohol... Something Quatro Cerberus' S-Class resolves to do when Elfman chooses the wager for their bet, the one he'd obtain in case of victory: Quatro Cerberus' name would be Quatro Puppy for the rest of the Games. Readers sigh with relief as someone's twisted fantasies about Elfman raping Bacchus come to an end, and as Bacchus himself goes on to land blows on Elfman at super-human speed... Only to find his hands covered in bruises. The Take Over Mage stands tall, his Lizardman complete transformation activated, and his muscular mass covered in sharp spikes. Much to the crowd's dismay, battle goes on, with both the excited fighters willing to see which will break first, Bacchus' hands or Elfman's body.

After a hail of blows from Bacchus' side, both fighters are shown to be exhausted. Elfman falls on his knees before Bacchus, who stands proud and tall... Seconds before collpasing to the ground, satisfied after a good fight, acknowledging his opponents as a real man... While presumably preparing to spend a night alone after his two sexual preys escaped his hands. Elfman is declared the winner, gaining 10 points for Fairy Tail, with all of his guildmates cheering him up, as Quatro Puppy stare in disbelief.

Meanwhile, the guys who kidnapped Wendy, Porlyusica and Charle are taken under custody, revealing to have been sent by Raven Tail and that their target wasn't Wendy, but the girl who was in the infirmary... Lucy. Well, that makes more sense. Who would kidnap a young, cute and innocent young girl rather than a buxom, fanservice-clad blonde? Say, who?! Elsewhere, the real schemers of the kidnapping are revealed... Can you guess who? But of course, the square-nosed fellow! Leading a group of similarly corrupt underlings, and willing to take advantage of the discord between Fairy Tail and Raven Tail, blaming the latter ones for the crime, Arcadios readies to kidnap the "Celestial Spirit Mage" for the sake of "Plan Eclipse". Mhm... I think I've heard of something like that before. (NARUTO SPOILER ALERT!!!)

Well, this surprising chapter came with 28 pages, 3 of which were colored, with two more pages containing information regarding the incoming Fairy Tail movie. I could never have imagined the outcome... Though at least Elfman won through logic, instead of the usual nakama crap. His new complete Take Over forms were also an extremely nice surprise, given their special skills. Bacchus, on the other hand, was quite a disappointment... I'd expected him to showcase that very same monstrous strength he sported some chapters ago... Oh well. Hope the guy gets to shine sooner or later.

III - Chapter 279: The Door Hidden in the Darkness[]

TMITM - Ch 279

Another long chapter starts with the crew assembled in the infirmary, staying at the injured Elfman's bedside, praising the Mage who's going to be off for a while, with Wendy taking her place back. After they leave the place, with the Raijinshu remaining behind to protect the infirmary (something useful, given the fact that the kidnappers' target is no longer there...), they go on to wonder why, if Raven Tail is the one behind the kidnapping attempt (and we know that, strangely enough, it isn't), it didn't have Obra (the long-nosed fellow who dispelled Lucy's Urano Metria and thus became the public enemy of many fans) take part in it. Kind of smart of them... Guess someone in the backstage showed them the script. The very same script which has Charle still remain silent, not uttering a single word about Lucy's incoming fate... Great, really. You're as useless as a traffic light in GTA.

As our heroes hang around, the third match of the second days is starting... Fairy Tail's Mirajane vs Jenny Realight, Blue Pegasus' reserve member, replacing Ichiya, who was downed by the Chariot event... Alright, now I NEED to see a testament of power on the side of "Pegasus' strongest Mage"... Do something, Ichiya! While some poeple mourn his absence, the battle takes place... With both girls employing Transformation to show off their bodies in more and more revealing swimsuits and similar attires, much to the joy of the public and of horny readers, one in particular. With the two blocked in a standoff, Jenny proposes a bet: the losing girl will have to pose for the Weekly Sorcerer... Nude. What?! Seriously?! Mira would never accept something like th...

Sure Thing Mira

Oh.

Well, guess that's good for us boys... Mirajane's most untiring fan must be eager for his Muse to lose now...

Jenny silently exposes her plan, which involves more people wanting to see Mirajane naked due to a variety of reasons, before pulling out her so-called "battle form", sure of her victory. Mirajane claims that she wants to turn the "clash of beauty" into a "clash of strength" as she activates Sitri, described by Erza as her strongest Satan Soul form, which comes with weird armor and a sea of flames on her feet, useful for firewalking or cooking beefs while standing on the grill itself... As well as to own cocky girls in a single hit, gaining 10 points for your team and making them cry at the thought of appearing nude in a photo which thousands of horny heart-eyed guys will idolize.

As rescuers try to bring back to consciousness Rai, who's spilling hectoliters of blood from his nose after seeing the new Take Over of his darling, a shadowy meeting's taking place elsewhere: confronting Arcadios about the attempted kidnapping of Lucy is Fiore's Minister of Defense... Perfectly aware of the whole matter, though not too fond of it. Arcadios says "that", something supposed to be used for Fiore's good, has already been completed, having taken "just" seven years, and shows the gigantic, complex portal hidden in the shadows, the chapter's namesake and the object behind Plan Eclipse... Which will require Lucy's life to work. Ton-ton toooooon!

Here finishes another well-drawn chapter with 28 pages, three of which colored, with two double ones. Most of it was focused on fanservice... Nothing new I guess. All in all, an enjoyable chapter, making us eager to see what such famous Plan Eclipse' (which, like this, seems to have distinguished itself from its Naruto counterpart) is about, and whether Lucy will fall prey to it.

IV - Chapter 280: Kagura vs Yukino[]

TMITM - Ch 280

And here comes another chapter! Following an endless number of fan-made colorings completely fucking the pages' count up, we get to see Fairy Tail's Team B rejoicing in Mira's victory. The next match, the last one for the second day, is then announced: Yukino Aguria (Angel's twin sister from Sabertooth, possessing a less pugnacious disposition, a fancier attire and smaller... Ahem.) vs Kagura Mikazuchi (the "Hot Mermaid Heel Girl" said to be the strongest member of her guild). The audience cheers for another "battle of beauties" as Sabertooth promises its seemingly new recruit that her loss would lead to torture and to the Wiki's chat while it's crowded (virtually to the same thing, then) wouldn't be good, and Kagura, excited after seeing Tom Cruise in his tight armor in The Last Samurai, enters the arena wielding a katana she found somewhere and spitting samurai nonsense. The crowd gets silent as the match meets its start... And another bet is made. Unwilling to bet trivial things, the two women choose a single wager: their lives. Hell, someone really took this matter seriously...

Pleased with the bet, Yukino pulls out a key. Don't tell me...?! Nope, that's exactly what I'm telling, as the Celestial Spirit Mage Yukino Aguria summons forth Pisces, one of the Golden Keys we'de been waiting for for so long, and orders the two large beings composing it to attack Kagura, something they try to do with headbutts.... Without success, due to Kagura jumping around. "Sigh" In any case, even if they had connected, there's no way that might have been better than THIS, guess we all know that. The audience has no time to think about such past matters, however, as Yukino pulls out another key, summoning forth Libra, the other Golden Key we'd been waiting for... The circle's closed, all the Zodiac Keys have been revealed! Hurray! To celebrate, Libra proceeds to alter the weight of the opponent, in order for Pisces to strike her, employing the same Magic as that fatass from Mermaid Heel itself... And the same as Kagura, it seems, considering how easily she dispels it and ducks, being noted as Risley's teacher.

Kagura Defeating Yukino

The Raised Skirt spell is obviously the reason behind such a direct victory.

Annoyed, Yukino displays one more key, the 13th surpassing the 12 Golden ones, which Lucy seems to have heard about. On the sandy field is summoned Ophiuchus, the "Snake Charmer", the Paradise of B Movies: a gigantic reptile partially composed of meat, and partially mechanical in nature. Hell. Such an humoungous, feared creature will surely take down the sword-wielding opponent, right? Naaah, that would be too banal. It's way better to fall in an instant before the blade which Kagura doesn't even bother unsheathing. SAY WHAT?! Style of the Undrawn Long Sword? Archenemy, the Blade of Resentment, which, if unsheathed, would cause a cataclysm?! FREE WAFFLES?! In any case, the reptile is reduced to a pile of gears in a pair of panels, just as Kagura nears its summoner and defeats her with a single blow, her sword still sheathed.

The astonished crowd is left to wonder about Kagura's strength as Yukino cries over her defeat and Sabertooth's lack of points for the second day, something which seems to get on Sting's nerves as well. As she leaves, Kagura states her possession of Yukino's life, something which the other tearfully confirms. As Rem is left to wonder what weird M&S practices such relationship will entail, Arcadios rejoices in the fact that the Celestial Spirit Mages taking part in the Games are two. Jella is puzzled, with the familiar "dark energy" he'd be looking for still not visible. We're then shown a calendar marking the five days to the "fated one"... 7 July X791.

This chapter, coming without colors but sporting a 2-pages panel portraying Kagura beating the crap out of Yukino, showed us a fair amount of awesome things... Problem is we got absolutely no time to enjoy them. Two Spirits Celestial Spirits freaks like you guys people have been looking forward to seeing for ages dealt with in a pair of pages, and a 13th, "super strong" mechanical beast having TWO PANELS to show off WITHOUT PERFORMING A SINGLE ATTACK before being slashed to pieces. Hell yeah. The art was good, and Mashima, despite not finding enough time to show us the longed-for Spirits for more than a bunch of seconds, had enough of it to draw a series of pantyshots of the deadly-serious Kagura... Just as everyone start to wonder whether she's wearing tights, pantyhose, skin-tight pants, or simply has overly hairy lower limbs. Guess time will tell.

EarthLandChronicles

Welcome to another issue of The Earth Land Chronicles. This article will be the discussion of related things in the Fairy Tail series, which will be presented in chronological order. This could include main villains, Dragon Slayers, Celestial Spirits, all in the order they were revealed. Our first series will be the story arcs of Fairy Tail, with an arc being done each month (though once in a while two). So let's continue with the Daybreak arc.

TEC-lets make a team

Let's make a team!

The next story arc in the series is the Daybreak arc. This also marks the creation of Team Natsu!! So the arc begins with Lucy having her apartment infiltrated by Natsu and Happy (something that happens frequently). Lucy gives a short, and simple introduction to how her Magic works by summoning Plue. This part is jam packed with comedy, and was probably what made me really enjoy Fairy Tail even more.

TEC-Everlues ladies

They like playing hard to get

Soon we get introduced to the plot. Some ugly rich dude has some other rich dude's book. Team Natsu is ready to help, but Natsu, being the funny clown that he is, makes Lucy believe she has a dress up as a cute maid to get into the mansion. This fails quickly as it's revealed Duke Everlue has a pretty... strange taste in women (their ugly!).

Not accepting defeat, the team decides to just be their super super stealthy selves and break into the mansion (by climbing through a window...) After finding the Daybreak book, Lucy is not able to destroy it, knowing there is a secret to the book. This causes the Vanish Brothers to fight Natsu, and for Duke Everlue himself to take on Lucy. Kind of funny how Lucy is actually facing the big baddie of a story arc!

So Natsu easily defeats the Vanish Brother's, even after they mock Mages for being physically weak. I can see where their coming from, but did they really think they could stop a Fire Dragon Slayer with a mere pan? Meanwhile, Lucy is able to quickly read through the book and knows she must return it to Mr. Melon's son. She and Happy have a showdown with Duke Everlue, but are rescued by Natsu and one of his fat maids, Virgo! I love the introduction of Virgo, especially when we find out she can change her appearance based on the user (and thank goodness for that too).

Daybreak's Magic

Coooool!

After Team Natsu brings the house down, they return to the Melon's. As Lucy reveals the truth about the book we are treated with terrific panels of the book rearranging itself. Turns out the whole book was not Zekua Melon's worst book, but his best, as it was a letter to his son. I love sweet endings :). So even after all of this, the team doesn't take the reward for two reasons. Natsu already knows the Melon's cannot afford the cost, and they didn't actually achieve their job to destroy the book. This is probably one of my favourite moments cause it really shows how honesty Fairy Tail is, and what they stand for. A very simple arc, but also packed with comedy, and action. All the best things about Fairy Tail are put into this, and sets the stage for how Mashima plans on telling his story. Marvelous!

Well, next time is the Lullaby arc. Until next month!

Best Quote of the Arc: "If we accept money for something we didn't accomplish it'll just taint Fairy Tail's name"
Best Spell of the Arc: Letter Re-Arranging
Best Moment of the Arc: Sexy Maid Lucy!
Best Chapter of the Arc: Celestial Spirit of the Canis Minor
Best Episode of the Arc: DEAR KABY

Elfman and Lying Bacchus
Elfman vs Bacchus

Elfman vs. Bacchus was an interesting fight, but it was ultimately a let down. Prior to the fight, Bacchus had been hyped up to be this super powerful beast that could match Erza's strength and we were all very excited to see him in battle. But when he finally got into the arena not only did he lose to Elfman, but he didn't really show off anything interesting. His entire fighting style is based off slaps - backhanded slaps to be exact and that's not anything I want to waste my time watching. Now this fight did have some upsides: We got to see some new Take Overs by Elfman. Beast Soul: Weretiger and Beast Soul: Lizardman which are both very interesting. Another upside to the fight was the fact that Bacchus lost. I'm sorry, in all honesty, Elfman is absolutely no match for Bacchus, but after the comments he said about Mirajane, who, btw, is my favorite character, I wanted him to lose. Sadly, that means some people were right about Bacchus being a dick. Overall this fight gets a 6/10.

Mirajane vs. Jenny was another fight that was interesting but ultimately a bit of a let down. Some of the best parts of this fight were: The fanservice (on first look) who doesn't want to see two women posing provocatively in bikinis? But notice I did say "on first look." When first reading the chapter, the fan service seemed kind of okay, but this is a fight, not a random spot in the chapter and if you take up 7+ pages of what is supposed to be a fight with nothing more than bikini shots, that sucks. So Mashima failed bad. The next part of the fight, and this is arguably the best part of it would be Mirajane's new takeover!! Excuse me while I catch my breath. It's freaking awesome!! Satan Soul: Sitri.
Satan Soul Sitri

Not too crazy about the name, but whatever. Mirajane is a beast from the middle east and when she transformed it was epic. She made a come back!! She's still sweet, but she's no longer the second strongest woman in Fairy Tail. Her and Erza are now evenly matched again. Which makes this Mira fanboy one happy camper. Now, back to the fight review. So once Mirajane gets into her awesome new take over she one shots Jenny and the match is over. And she gets props from: Laxus, Erza, Gajeel, Juvia, Natsu, and Gray. Awesome. Just awesome. Overall the fight was only a 5/10. I like it a lot because Mira's in it but even so I have to give it an honest rating.

Mirajane vs. Jenny
Mirajane vs Jenny
Kagura vs. Yukino
Kagura vs Yukino

Kagura vs. Yukino is likely the best fight we've had in the Grand Magic Game so far. It's only competitor is Lucy vs. Flare. So we get Kagura and Yukino in the arena and find out that they are both epic. I've been wanting a new Celestial Spirit Mage for a while so it's good to see one. The only downside to her is that she's a female. There have been no epic Male Celestial Spirit Mages which kinda sucks. I guess it's because Celestial Spirit Magic is such an indirect type of ability, but I digress. Yukino ends up summoning two spirits that we've all been wanting to see: Libra and Pisces and one last spirit that few suspected, but we all enjoyed once it was summoned: Ophiuchus. Libra has a pretty cool design and her abilities are much like I expected them to be. Pisces didn't really display any abilities but they are kinda cool. Ophiuchus is cool but we didn't get to see any of his abilities because he got dog stomped by Kagura! Who is one of the most epic characters in the series. She's calm, she's calculated, and she's strong. I was very impressed with her character. Not only did she beat Yukino, but she beat her and three of her spirits with a sealed sword. And she got praise from Erza, and I'm going to do some math for you guys right quick. Kagura is a Sword Mage + Praise from Erza = Erza vs. Kagura in the future!! And I can't wait. It's likely to be a good match and I'm guessing that Kagura's going to pull out her sword once Erza pulls out her strongest armor. The only downside to this fight is the fact that so many spirits were revealed pointlessly which I'm guessing is because they will play a role in the Eclipse Plan. Anyway, this fight gets a 9/10. Would've been a 10/10 if not for the Celestial Spirit thing.

*sigh* As you guys know, I hate the anime. But since I do both anime and manga fights, normally I'd go watch the anime episodes so I can write a review, but I'm not doing that this time because this entire Key of the Starry arc looks dull and it's seriously screwing up the wiki order because it's an arc happening in an arc. So I'll sup up all of those dull anime fights in a few words: big butts, homosexuality, cross-dressing, 19th century women, copy cats, and more little butts. BAM. I'm good right? I give all these fights a 5/10. They could be better or worse, but I don't care to find out so....yeah.

Welcome

Well hi guys, and welcome to another exciting issue of Real Tail, with your Junk Trivia-loving writer, Aldarinor!

Applause.

After a month without such article, I guess you guys are missing weird theories, backstage matters and namesakes... "I guess" not to say "I am sure", eheh, right?

...

RIGHT???!!!

Well, wanting it or not, know that, as I anticipated in last month's "This Month in the Manga", many of the suggestions for this issue of Real Tail come from... Guilherme Abe! Congratulations irritating Abe, and thanks for providing your fellow users with Junk Trivia of this caliber! There we go!
Bacchus/Dionysus Real Tail
Let's start off with one of this month's former "hot topics", recently replaced by bikinis, samurai girls and summoners: Bacchus appeared like a bolt out of the blue, revealing himself as the replacement for Quatro Cerberus' War Cry, badly injured during his fight with Orga Nanagear, as well as revealing the mildly obscure guild to have an S-Class Mage capable of fighting Erza on equal terms.

Dionysus
Tartaros/Tartarus RealTail
The only Dark Guild left on top of the Balm Alliance, Tartaros is as of yet a mystery. The group still has to be formally introduced, and so far nothing is known about it.

Tartarus
Balam/Balam RealTail
And here we go with another off-putting name. Guess all of you remember the Balam Alliance, that "super group of villains" housing three of the most powerful Dark Guilds in Earth Land, plus an unspecified amount of minion guilds, present just as cannon fodder for members of the top guilds to play around. I hope you do, because, hell, we've mentioned it right above! Well, boys and girls, know that the name of such nice association is the same as a demon authority from Hell in demonology, commanding an army of minions and possessing fearsome powers. Just one more friendly pal to add to the list, right? Balam
Hades/Odin Real Tail
For those of you who didn't remember about Balam Alliance ("Beats with newspaper" Baka!), I hope you can at least remember Hades, right? You know, that epic bearded fellow who trashed Makarov, Team Natsu and Wendy and Laxus (can't believe I'm actually stating this... You almost rocked him, Laxus-sama!) just to be defeated when the Exceeds destroyed the organic source of his power, wisely left in the hands of random underlings.

Nostalgic-Magic

Hi. This is the first of the (hopefully) many monthly shots of nostalgia I can provide for you Fairy Tail fans and wiki readers out there. With the quick progress of the series, we've been slowly forgetting the awesome moments of Fairy Tail's past, and so Nostalgic Magic aims to prevent memory loss by reminding you of the Fairies' history as well as stab you a hundred times over with a bayonet while screaming "ARE YOU NOSTALGIC YET?!?!?"

This Month's Feature:

KillingMage

This week we look back on another fan favoruite Magic. Its beautiful, mystical, and takes away life every time it is used. The majestic Death Magic (unofficial name), utilized by Zeref!

NM-Zeref on ground

Winner of depressing kid award!

We get an awesome first look at this Magic with our favourite emo boy being his emo self, and mistakenly killing all plants, and animals around him. Now if there's one thing that attracts readers to anything, it is death. And with Carla's premonition shown shortly after, we were all prepared for an epic sacrifice at some point (which we didn't get >:/ )

As the Tenrou Island arc progressed, eventually some of our heroes, Elfman and Evergreen, ran into Zeref, and were barely saved from certain death by Natsu. Just the thrill of our favourite people being in mortal danger added to the excitement factor, and made Zeref ten times cooler than he already was.

Zeref's Death Orb

"Wanna play catch Ultear?!"

Although Death Magic seemed cool and all, it did have its low shallow parts. Worst of all, in the anime, Zeref created some kind of "Death Orb"?? Really? Way to take an awesome Magic and turn it into some game of ping pong!?!

Our last glimpse of this epic Magic was definitely its peak as well, with Zeref using it to kill Hades. And in the anime this was done even better. There was no way Hades was coming back from that one! So. While Death Magic isn't something unique, it definitely cannot be something that can ever disappoint. And since we will certainly see Zeref again some time soon, we can expect more awesomeness as well.

i leave you with this....

Zeref Telling Hades to Repent

"REPENT!"

Welcome to Crocus Pocus! Fond of quizzes, puzzles or some other random game that would help you pass the time? Then this is the place to go! Each month, this article will feature a different set of games (that is, if I don't fall victim to laziness that I fail to be innovative with this). No, not flash games that would lead you to endlessly waste your time relentlessly playing like Cubefield or Robot Unicorn Attack (though if I figure out how, I might...). Just games that I can conjure up with a little bit of imagination, my love for Fairy Tail and the trusty Photoshop.

Interviews

Hello everyone! Today we will be interviewing with one of the two oldest Administrators on the site, Ishthak.

Fairy Tail Wiki: Tell us a little about yourself.
Ish: Hmm... I'm Ishthak, but everyone rather call me Ish. I'm <wait for it!> the same age as Laxus. On the wiki I'm responsible for graphic, logos, images and all that staff that goes with PhotoShop. I'm also a Mistress of Image Guild and of course one of the Administrators. I love Gajeel, Lily and Erza.

Fairy Tail Wiki: How did you first discover the Fairy Tail Wiki?
Ish: Wow... It was sooo long ago. I'm a also a fan of One Piece, but when that series started to boring me and began to annoy me, I decided to find something else. I read Rave Master and I really enjoy it, so I tried to find some infos about it. The picture at their wiki was so bad xD! I begun to make some images in better quality. After I finish it, I learned that Mashima-san started a new series. I read it. I liked it. I found FT wiki... and that's all.

Fairy Tail Wiki: What 5 tips would you give new users on the wiki?
Ish: Only five?! I could give them at least hundred... Ok, because I'm a graphic here, so they all will be about pictures (and maybe something more): *First and the most important: check before you add a picture! I really get pissed when I saw five versions of Erza's Heaven Wheel Armor, or Mira in Satan Soul Take-Over. * Give your image a proper edition before you add it! I saw plenty of times, when users ad a image which was just a printscreen from anime, and in addition, from very lame version of anime. If you can't do it right, then just DON'T DO IT.*Don't put a fanarts or version colored by fans! We only use original pictures! * If you need a help, ASK for it. Is it so hard to write a message to one of ours Great and Awesome Admins? We don't bite (hard). *Vandalism... No! We're doing it all for you! Don't destroy our work!

Fairy Tail Wiki: You are said to be our toughest Guild Leader on the site, how does that feel?
Ish: Is that true? I heard some rumors about it... Well, I think it's kinda obvious. I want to give all of you the best pictures in the best possible quality, so I have to had the best and the most talented persons in my Guild. That's giving me the confidence, that everything will be done great. Still, they are my beloved brats <3.

Fairy Tail Wiki: You are also said to be the user who is the best with Photoshop on our wiki, when did you first start using it?
Ish: About 10 years ago, I think. I was hired to create some banners and logos for my guild's forum (I was playing MMORPG that time), so I started to work first at Corel, then Gimp and few others. They weren't what I was looking for, so I tried a PS. It works perfectly fine, I used to it, and I'm working on it till then.

Fairy Tail Wiki: Do you have any tips for other PS users on the site?
Ish: Yeah. One. If you want to create a perfect or at least good picture, you just have to had the best possible basic material. If you use a crap video, bad manga scans, any of available PS tools will not help you! This is the most basic rule of all, still many people forget about it.

Fairy Tail Wiki: Now, with the demotion of Retro7 and ShockDragoon, you and ChaosKnight are the longest running Administrators of the site, how does that feel?
Ish: Old I guess <laugh>. The truth is that it's still amazes me, how did this little wiki grown up. It makes me feel like a proud mom, who has been seeing how do her little kid transforms into a strong man.

Fairy Tail Wiki: If you can remember, what was the worst case of vandalism you had to deal with?
Ish: Sure I remember. I was on wiki, I was adding (as always) some pictures, I went to Erza page... And what have I saw. BOOBS. EVERYWHERE. BOOBS all around me. User called Manporn or something like that and fanarts with naked Erza. I banned him of course, but I forget to block him a talk page. That was the first time when someone used so many <bip> words to described my person.

Well folks, that's all the time we have this week. Tune in next month for the next addition of Jakuho's Corner. We'll be having a very mysterious guest on our show!

The Vanish Brothers once described Mages as being physically frail, below human average, due to their thorough study of Magic. Would you like to reply to such statement?
A: I think I heard that... Those guys are fools. I'm sure they've never faced off against some really TOUGH Mages.
In spite of the previous statement, many Mages seem to actively employ melee and hand-to-hand combat in their fighting style. Are you one of them?
A: I do! Melee combat is usually enough to handle most of the newbies coming at me... When I'm not in the mood for it, I've got my friend handle the matter for me... By the way, say, did you see a giant winged purple snake around here? Just out of curiosity...
Many Mages danced together in Magic Dance Ball, who would you have wanted to have a chance to dance with?

The Vanish Brothers once described Mages as being physically frail, below human average, due to their thorough study of Magic. Would you like to reply to such statement?
A: If I was a frail person then how would I enjoy my fights?
In spite of the previous statement, many Mages seem to actively employ melee and hand-to-hand combat in their fighting style. Are you one of them?
A: I like to mix melee attacks with my Magic, so I don't get bored.
Many Mages danced together in Magic Dance Ball, who would you have wanted to have a chance to dance with?
A: ...I wasn't there...since, you know, I'm supposed to be dead and all...
Have you heard about the Fairy Tail Movie, Priestess of the Phoenix? Are you excited about it?
A: Fairy Tail is making a movie about themselves? I didn't know they were that type of guild...

How did you learn your signature Magic?
A: It all started with cartomancy... After taking up using cards for telling the future, I ended up employing them in actual combat.
The Vanish Brothers once described Mages as being physically frail, below human average, due to their thorough study of Magic. Would you like to reply to such statement?
A: As far as I know, Natsu rocked those guys' asses for good. So, should this statement really be considered? Besides, study is boring... Drinking is real fun! I think my physical prowess might be inferior to a warrior's because of booze... Though there are some perverts who seem to only take advantage from it... How I envy them!
In spite of the previous statement, many Mages seem to actively employ melee and hand-to-hand combat in their fighting style. Are you one of them?
A: Sorry, I'd rather avoid melee. Doesn's suit me. Though my old man seems to enjoy that sort of stuff... Just as he enjoys women... Wait... Melee is... Physical contact... Could that be why so many guys are in that stuff?
Many Mages danced together in Magic Dance Ball, who would you have wanted to have a chance to dance with?
A: Some of the guys over there looked hot, but elegant dummies really aren't my type... I'd rather share a drink with someone, and I think I could hardly find any in the palace of someone called "Balsamico"... And if I did, it'd probably taste awful, eeew.
Have you heard about the Fairy Tail Movie, Priestess of the Phoenix? Are you excited about it?
A: Priestess? Sorry, church doesn't suit me. Though I've heard that some monasteries and stuff have their cellars packed full of booze... If that was true, I might consider taking up religion, even for a short time, eheh...

How did you learn your signature Magic?
A: Master Hades taught me it. Of course I think he's an ass now though.
The Vanish Brothers once described Mages as being physically frail, below human average, due to their thorough study of Magic. Would you like to reply to such statement?
A: Where are they! Now those two are on my people to kill list!!
In spite of the previous statement, many Mages seem to actively employ melee and hand-to-hand combat in their fighting style. Are you one of them?
A: Usually not. I like to be clever using my own Magic.
Many Mages danced together in Magic Dance Ball, who would you have wanted to have a chance to dance with?
A: Ultear!
Have you heard about the Fairy Tail Movie, Priestess of the Phoenix? Are you excited about it?
A: Of course I'm excited! I hope Juvia's in it!

Dear Jellal Fernandes,

How did you learn to use Magic Staves?
Sincerely, Herme
Jellal Fernandes: Well, the truth is that those Magic Staves are fake rip-offs. Why? Because Mystogan took the Magic Staves with him to Edolas, where the Magic was drained out of them since it was an Edolas Magic Item. So what I'm I currently using? A cheap fake made by Master Makarov in order for me to get closer to Erza and finally hook up. Yes, Makarov likes JellalXErza too.

Dear Mirajane,

There is this guy called IamJakuhoRaikoben who has been bullying me for some time. I've tried to be nice to him but he keeps insulting me for no apparent reason. I've tried talking to his mapa, who by the way seems to be genderless, but it won't do anything to it's son. I'm hiding from him and I don't know what to do. What is your advice?
Sincerely, Relikz Relikz Talk (Talk Page)
Mirajane: O how terrible! Well, bullies feed off of your reaction. They purposely aggravate you just because they know you'll get angry. It's a terrible thing to do, but I know a trick to beating them at their own game. If a bully is being mean to you....kill him with kindness! Be so nice to them that they can't help but to love you...and if that doesn't work... GO SATAN SOUL ON THAT BITCH!! Grow some purple clothes, huge hands, a long ass tail and then start shooting laser beams and shit and that bitch gone be like "AHHHH, Please Stop"!!!!!! But don't stop!! Tell that filthy hoe that it's too late for peace because you are in the middle of war!! From your friend and councilor, Mirajane :)

Dear Gajeel Redfox,

Who is your worst rival?
Sincerely, 118.96.149.81
Gajeel Redfox: I'm too good to have any rivals. But I will take Salamander, Erza, Laxus, and that blond asshole one of these days.
