Technical-Updates

Wassup homos and whores! If you're not one, you're the other, so pick one! ;o I don't have much to say about this last month, really. I mean, there are a lot of discussions (still waiting for folks to figure out the difference between a "discussion" and a "question"...), and a lot of article pages got made and stuff. The best I can muster up here is, "Go team!"? Well, it is what it is, I suppose.

Last month's puzzle winner was this stupid bitch, who guessed Oracion Seis. As for this month's puzzle...well... ( .___.)

Hot as fuck she is
Her fangs sink into your skin
She can cook real well
And her tits are real bouncy

Recent Wiki Changes Discussion Report
The following changes have occurred on the wiki: Announcements and discussion results:
  • Still waiting on proposals for the spin-offs. Mine is almost done, but I can't do everything on the wiki. Kinda have a life and other matters supersede that one. ( .__.)
  • Ikaruga doesn't use Fire Magic. She just uses Sword Magic, or its sword abilities, idk. Either way, not that complicated to figure out she doesn't use multiple kinds of magic from one singular item.
  • Bakel's name wasn't changed to Baqel/Bagel/whatever or Baquel (which is totally read as "Buh-qwell" by the way >_>).
  • We finally have parameters defining what counts as participation in a fight. You have to actually participate for the duration of a fight for starters. So sorry Carla, sorry Jellal, you did not participate in those big battles for doing one thing and falling over.
  • Giant Wave Attack, Aquarius' old deleted spell was given a name in Brave Saga and Umnei brought it up. We decided to re-create it with the name Torrent, but he hasn't gotten around to it, so...
  • Mirajane uses Water Magic.
  • Tempester's Calamity Curse crap was decided to be different on the grounds that different sound effects, even if the elements are the same, are different spells (Exception being stuff like Boulder and Boulders. That's just asinine).
  • Star Dress was split into individual pages for the forms, while the base page remained as a hub for the others.
  • We finally got our heads out of our asses and listed Tempester as dead after Episode 256 was released and opened up our eyes to him being struck by Devil SLAYING Magic and never being heard from again...
  • Ajeel has Immense Magic Power, as per his feats and comparisons between his power to other characters.
  • Ajeel's name is going to change again in a day or so (might even be changed when the mag is released, but I have to wait like 3-4 days on name discussions. It will become Ajeel Ramal (Rah-muh-luh) as he has spells called Ramal, and Ramal means sand, and he is a sand wizard. Should be the last goddamn time we do this.
  • Ajeel's quote was changed to better fit his hubristic personality.

Image Changes:

  • Happy had another S2 image brought up, but it wasn't changed.
  • Mard Geer had an image brought up, but it wasn't changed either.
  • Belno got a really nice, frontward facing S2 profile image.
  • Kyoka's unmasked profile image got changed to one that is more le sexy.
  • Gray got a new profile image that is a lot more dark cuz it's nighttime, but it's badass so who gives a crap. :'D
  • Jellal got a great, albeit slightly angry, non-supersaturated, clear, Mashima-like, profile image from S2 (clearly biased opinion).

This Month in the Manga

October 2015

Hello everyone. This month, Jakuwhore ordered us all to Halloweenify our articles cause he is fat and loves candy so he loves Halloween. But how the fuck can I halloweenify recapping the manga? I thought about this for approximately 10 whole seconds before I said FUCK IT. Screw you Jakuwhore, I'm just going to write a normal article.

TMITM Ch 455

Alright, so first off, DAT COVER. ZOMG. Erza is so hot omg.

Ok so now that that is out of the way, on to the chapter. We open with a stare down between Erza and Ajeel before we switch over to Team Flying Dragon. Natsu seems upset they have to leave Erza behind but Gajeel says its Erza and she will be fine and Wendy comments that Erza protected them again. Inside the guild, Makarov says that Erza is strong but he doesn't know if she can take on a Spriggan by herself, but Mavis tells him to believe in her. At the cathedral, Evergreen asks if Freed's Jutsu Shiki wasn't a perfect defense and Freed says that there is no such thing as perfect, but thanks to the Flying Dragon and Osprey teams, the enemy attacks have been cut in half. Out at the cliffs of Magnolia, Bisca tells Asuka that it takes time for the Jupiter Canon to recharge but she will make sure the next shot counts. Elsewhere, the Ajeel Squad invades Magnolia as Kareem states he feels they are wasting resources but it is his duty to carry on. As they enter Magnolia though, the Flying Dragon Team lands and begins to make short work of them. Back up in the sky, Erza fires some swords at Ajeel who easily blocks them, however, the swords were just a distraction as she requips to her Black Wing Armor and unleashes her Black Wing Moon Slash. Ajeel asks if there is anyone stronger in her guild as he says she is a nice warm up. Erza, angered, tells him not to underestimate Fairy Tail but he traps her in sand and tells her to have fun turning into sand. She is then quick to notice she is unable to requip. Back at the cathedral, Freed's face falls flush as he senses something is wrong with his Jutsu Shiki. At the guild, Warren notices it too, stating there is a hole in the Jutsu shiki, leading Mavis to believe someone is using Nullification magic. Elsewhere, Wahl Icht arrives in Magnolia, claiming everything is easy. Everyone is immediately alerted to his arrival as they head out to fight. Lucy, at her apartment, grabs Aquarius' broken key and prepares to head out when she hears a noise coming from her bathroom, she heads in to find Brandish bathing in her tub. Shocked, she asks why one of the Spriggans is in her bath tub but Brandish simply wonders why Lucy left such a strong impression on her. Back at the guild, their radar shows even more ships arriving and even Mavis is quick to realize how hopeless their situation is.

This chapter was just okay for me. The cover was a 10/10 but the rest was kind of eh. It jumped around too much for my liking. There wasnt really any development because it just jumped around too much rather than focusing on what was important. The scene is set now so hopefully the next chapters are more focused.

TMITM Ch 456

As Natsu takes on Bakyll, Happy tells him the fight would already be over if he took the fight seriously, but Natsu says he is pacing himself as he doesn't know how many he will have to face. His mature answer leaves Happy in shock. But seriously folks, who is this guy and what happened to Natsu? The real Natsu would have blown everything on one attack to take out this guy. Anyway, Happy sheds a tear as he says that Natsu has grown up but he is quickly smacked out of the way by Carla. Wendy then gets an almost panty shot as Sane and Tristan curse Mashima for not showing the full thing. Lily, Carla and Gajeel smack through a bunch of enemies before Kareem tries to make a surprise attack on Gajeel but he is unsuccessful. Elsewhere, Gray and Juvia are smacking down some bitches when they lament that there are an incredible number of them. Just then, the Strauss siblings arrive to offer their help and Mira shows off her new take over Satan Soul: Mirajane Seilah, thus revealing that she took over Seilah. As Gray and Juvia express their shock, Lisanna says that Seilah would have died otherwise and Elfman says Mira is so nice. Mira then uses Macro to order all the soldiers to sleep, but some resist and she says they will just have to do it the old fashioned way. Seeing her use of Macro, Wahl Icht is impressed and asks if she would like to be one of the emperor's toys. In the skies, Erza is still unable to requip, while at the guild, Max gives a motivational speech that inspires everyone to keep going. At Lucy's house, Brandish tells Lucy to join her in the tub. Lucy refuses but Brandish tells her to not make her repeat things. Seeing Marin, Brandish thinks he is the problem and picks him up and puts him in a container before once again telling her to get in. As Lucy continues to hesitate, Brandish reminds her of her magic, shrinking the house next door. After this, Lucy gives in, stripping down and getting in the bath with Brandish.

So this chapter was pretty similar to the last. It jumped around so much that I feel like there wasn't too much development. That said though, seeing Natsu get character development was very nice. Natsu has never changed but finally, he is maturing. Mirajane Seilah though.... I don't like it. Idk, it feels like Mashima just gave her that because Seilah was so popular so he is giving Mira that take over just to keep her alive for the fans. I would have liked something different. As for the naked battle approaching.... Mashima is always find new ways to get Lucy naked. Not that I mind, and I do love me some Brandish, but I would hope they are in the tub for a reason and not just for fanservice.

TMITM Ch 457

And I hoped wrong. Its all about the fanservice. In the tub, Lucy asks Brandish why she is there but Brandish simply looks at her and tells her she isn't that cute. She then pulls out a pair of cat ears and tells Lucy to put them on. Lucy initially refuses but is eventually coerced. I am not sure where Brandish got the cat ears but they are comedy gold! Looking at Lucy, Brandish places her hand over her mouth wondering what she has done as she comments how adorable Lucy now is. Brandish states she has seen Lucy somewhere and Lucy mentions Sorcerer Magazine and the Grand Magic Games but Brandish tells her its neither of those. She then looks at Lucy and tells her to take off the ears as they are having a serious conversation and I lost it. I could not stop laughing after that. Brandish then asks Lucy to wash her back and as Brandish becomes distracted, pondering why she knows Lucy, Lucy prepares to shank a bitch and holds Aquarius' key ready to stab. Just then, Brandish realizes it, stating Lucy is Layla's daughter. Lucy lowers her guard as she asks how Brandish knew her mother. In a rage, Brandish then begins shrinking the room and Lucy rushes to get out and we get some overly gratuitous naked Lucy ass. Outside, Lucy asks again how Brandish knows her mother but Brandish says it is too much trouble and she won't say. As she says so however, Cana cuts in with a card to protect Lucy and tells Brandish to leave her alone. Lucy pulls out the capsule Marin is in and smashes it on the ground and steps on him. Lucy then uses Star Dress: Aries form and prepares to fight Brandish. In the skies above, Erza, thanks to Marin being taken out, manages to requip into Wind God Armor and breaks free from the sand. Elsewhere, Natsu and Gajeel finish off the Ajeel squad as they argue about who used less strength. Bakyl then stands up and tries to act tough, but Natsu punches him into the sky and through Ajeel's airship, distracting Ajeel and allowing Erza to slice him across the chest.

I LOVED this chapter. While the fanservice was eh, the humor was fantastic. I laughed so fucking hard at this chapter. I don't really have any complaints here. The chapter did what it needed to do and was hilarious at that. I hadn't considered Marin as the reason Erza wasn't able to requip but it makes sense now.

TMITM Ch 458

Fortunately for us, Ajeel was not one shot. As he stumbles after being cut from Erza, he says everything that touches him should turn to sand but then notices that the sword is made of water. Erza states her sword has the power to harden sand, greatly angering Ajeel. Ajeel then sends a flurry of sand at Erza who says its useless as she will just knock it away, but Ajeel asks if it will work on a sandstorm. The entire ship is covered in sand and Ajeel says that it is not just the ship, as the town, the guild and everyone in it are enveloped in sand. Erza then realizes that between Brandish and now Ajeel, the Spriggans really are on another level. Ajeel then welcomes Erza to his sand world as he blends into the sand and strikes at Erza from where she cannot see. Holding Erza up, Ajeel tells her to call him God and he may spare her. Erza however, gives a nakama speech blablabla we have heard this a million times. Erza requips to the Morning Star armor and uses it to shine brightly. Bisca, ready to fire the recharged Jupiter Cannon, sees the light and takes it as a sign, pulling the trigger and hitting Ajeel. Ajeel distracted, Erza reuips to her Nakagami Armor and finishes Ajeel with Nakagami Starlight. On the ground, Gajeel notices the sandstorm stopped and Natsu simply smiles.

I liked a lot of things about this chapter. First and foremost, NO FLAME PANTS. HOORAY. Erza won a battle using her different armors to do what was best for the situation. This is what made me love Erza in the first place. However, I wish there was more to it. This fight boils down to Ajeel overpowers Erza, Erza finally requips and slashes Ajeel, Ajeel overpowers Erza again, Erza requips and ends it. I wanted to see more back and forth and Erza is the kind of fighter who can make a long fight interesting. Unlike Natsu or Gray who just blast people with their element, Erza has a lot of unique armors that can fit to different situations to keep a fight interesting. I liked the fight, I just wanted to see a lot more of it. Also, a little ridiculous Erza wasnt hit by the Jupiter shot, but eh, Ill take it.

Thats all for this time folks. Go read the new and improved Pollbender now. Also, BOO. Happy Halloween.

This Month in the Anime

October 2015

Le Sexy Me: Hey fuckers, guess what? I'm doing the super special awesome This Month in the Anime TWO MONTHS IN A ROW!!! I bet you're all like, "U wot Wrath? Gtfo of here!" Well no, fuck you guys. >:c I'm here to stay, and you better enjoy my shit! And just for your viewing pleasure, I'm sober. Sorry, but Magazine rules: I can't write anything drunk unless it's React, or Battle Arena. You know, something of lesser importance. ( ._____.)

Believe in Myself

JUST BELIEVE IN MYSELF! I loved the shit out of this opening. ( .____.) The animation was freaking amazing, and the music itself is awesome. From start to finish I loved it, but there are some things worth mentioning... like how there are a lot of spoilers, and a lot of hypes. The hypes we see are stuff like Natsu vs. Mard Geer, Jiemma showing up (I'll kinda explain why it's not a spoiler), Twin Dragons helping out, and all that stuff. The spoilers tho...well, I dunno, there are some anime-only readers to this so I have no desire to explain what's a spoiler and why it's a spoiler, and all that shit, but Jiemma is not a spoiler. He is like a big wtf. So enjoy that. ( .____.)

Episode 253

Gray unable to kill his father

That's some high tension shit, right there

We pick right where last episode left off, where Gray asks Silver why he pretended to be Deliora, while creepy-ass motherfucker Keyes reveals the same truth to Juvia: Silver is merely a corpse. Apparently he has been dead for over seventeen years now, and that he was reanimated by Keyes' curse Necromancer just to see if a corpse could go back to being close to a living human being. Silver was the only success because of his desire for revenge against demons, which he reveals he carried out as a member of Tartaros for years until he found out during the Grand Magic Games that Gray was alive. When he found out his son was alive, Silver decided to give up his quest for vengeance and entrust his mission to his son should they ever meet again. Gray basically starts off with an inherent "fuck you" to his father by refusing to inherit his quest for vengeance, but then when he realizes that his father pretended to be Deliora for his benefit, Gray begins to have second thoughts. At this point, Silver begs Gray to finish him, claiming that he is not a father, as no father would ever lay a hand to their son, and begs Gray to kill him and reunite him with Mika. Gray makes a sword and says that he'll kill his father for he is Fairy Tail's, his family's, enemy, which Silver remarks is something that makes Gray human. Gray, however, also states that he can't kill Silver because he's still his father and throws the sword away, crying, which Silver says also makes him human.

Father and son then embrace, and as Juvia continues to square off against Keyes, Silver gets ahold of her via Telepathy and asks her to kill him to stop Crawford, who is working on activating Face due to his Necromancer Curse. Juvia questions if this will kill Silver too, but he tells her to just bug that fact off, but it doesn't really matter at this point because she can't even lay a hand on his bony ass. ( .___.) And in other news, Natsu and Gajeel are still getting their shit rekt, and we get filler of Franmalth trying to stall Erza and Minerva for time by leading them down wrong paths to the control room.

Back to Juvia vs. Keyes, Keyes reveals that he knew of Silver's quest for vengeance and that he loves how emotions make humans the perfect tools for his experiments. Juvia's attempts to kill this bastard are totally shrugged off and he summons up his skeletons that the anime totally censored as it looked like they were gangbanging Lucy in the manga. (.____. ) This makes Natsu and Gajeel distracted and causes them to lose more ground, but I don't really give a shit about that fight at the moment because Keyes gets even creepier when his mouth opens up and there's a whole bunch of spit, teeth and rape-face as he mocks that Juvia needs to kill him to save her friends, but that if she does so, she'll kill Silver and thus hurt the one she loves.

Keyes then takes Juvia, captures her in his mist shit and traps her in his body, planning on using her corpse to kill all her friends. His confidence is very shortlived, though, as he quickly figures out that Juvia has turned into water inside his body and then thrashes about. The thrashing eventually causes Keyes to explode, where she bursts out of his body saying that even if Silver is killed, the bond between father and son won't sever (and something about believing in the POWER OF LOVE).

Gray the Ice Devil Slayer

Deus Ex Power-up? Eh, I'll take it ;o

From here, Silver contacts Juvia by Telepathy again and thanks her for killing Keyes (in a really brutal fashion, btw. The anime even made him talk afterwards and my feels kicked in for everyone) as he begins to vanish. Before he vanishes, he tells Gray that he learned Ice Devil Slaying Magic to defeat E.N.D., who he says is a fire demon, and that he is passing his power onto his son. Gray accepts his father's quest and vows as an Ice Devil Slayer to defeat E.N.D.

Oookay, so this episode was just amazing. The animation was beautiful, the soundtracks were glorious, and it was a wonderful adaptation of two very high tension chapters. But now I can talk about Silver, like I said I would last month. Basically, in the manga it wasn't clearly explained (maybe it's the scanlators' fault? I'm not sure), and we ended up thinking that Silver idk, pretended to be Deliora for no real reason and then just proceeded to beat the crap out of his son. Well, what happened really is that Silver was never going to reveal to Gray that he was actually his father: he was going to die as "Deliora". This served the purpose of: A) Gray getting over his anger by having the feeling of avenging his family; B) Silver getting to see his son again; and C) Silver finally being able to be put to rest (in some way). In truth, it was a really great idea, and he isn't a terrible father, and I'm sure it was really hard for him to try and kill his son. But his charade sort of poked through last month when he get exasperated over Gray's emotional speech and his attempts at using Iced Shell. Juvia vs. Keyes was easily one of the best animated parts of this arc, and only one other episode this month I truly believe was better in terms of fight animation.

Score: 10/10. No shame. On to the ending!

Azayaka na Tabiji

Umm, the song was nice? I dunno, I liked the running crap (lel Natsu always runs in endings. That hasn't changed from studio to studio it appears :'D) If it shows the appearance of everyone as they were when they were introduced, why was Jellal in his CS outfit? Was it cuz he wasn't "good" until that point? Beats me, but this is definitely the case, because Lucy has her old outfit, as does Gajeel, Rogue doesn't have his scar, and Sting has his gay spandex crop top, and blah blah blah. I mean, it's definitely watcheable, so having a non-skippable ending is nice (I definitely skipped the last one ever time :3).

Episode 254

So...Keyes' body is made up of Magical Barrier Particles, which is why nobody could hit him, and Juvia is poisoned from her fight and collapses, asking to see Gray. Elsewhere, insert filler of everyone looking for their friends. Insert more filler of the Twin Dragons vs. Mard Geer, and then insert filler extension on Franmalth attempting to continue trying to mislead them to the control room (Minerva honey can cook tho <3).

Two Dragons against two Demons

Probably the better animated part of the episode...

Okay, so back to Dragon Slayers vs. Etherious, and we have Natsu and Gajeel still kind of breaking even with Tempester and Torafuzar; Tempester mentions that the shit they're doing is getting really damn old, while Torafuzar says they've gotta treat them like actual dragon wizards, and they enter their Etherious Forms! Gajeel and Natsu also turn up the heat (lel) by entering their Dragon Modes. Insert bickering about Laxus' lightning vs. Rogue's shadows and everyone wondering when Gajeel got the Mode, but whatever, as the four rush at each other and the Dragon Duo totally begins beating the almost literal crap out of the Etherious. They are hit away, and then repeatedly pummelled, and then hit with Exploding Lightning Blade and a point-blank Iron Shadow Roar. The two Dragon Dipshits are about to deal the crippling blow to their foes, but then they somehow accidentally hit themselves...and honestly, just like Lucy I'm smh. Way to ruin the tension, guys. >___>

Gajeel hits the Demon

Gajevy ftw

So Flaming Dumbass and Iron Dumbass then argue amongst each other (there was something about the winner having a song written for them by the loser, or something. It was either here or the paragraph above, but I don't care enough to check :'D) and Torafuzar gets sick of their shit, stands up, and then floods the area with his Tenchi Kaimei curse, which swallows up every single person inside Cube's remnants. The wizards are definitely at a disadvantage now, with Natsu in particular being unable to use his fire. Before long, Gajeel notices that everone has fallen unconscious, after which Torafuzar drops the bomb that his water is poisonous, and that all who swallow it will die within five minutes from the poison, though he chides that it's not like humans can hold their breath for five minutes anyway. Gajeel then tries to fight Torafuzar, but he is significantly slower than him and gets the tar beat out of him (a hit that Gajeel recognizes that he couldn't take many more of), even after he uses his shadow to catch up and deliver a couple strikes. However, Torafuzar is virtually unscathed and turns around to hit Gajeel with a few more of those hits he can't take. Man, is he getting the shit beat out of him. >__> Gajeel at this point begins losing consciousness as well because he's running out of air, and as he slips in and out of a waking state, Levy shows up and gives him mouth-to-mouth, reviving the Dragon Slayer. Levy then sinks downward, having expended most of her air, and Torafuzar notices that she gave Gajeel air and tries to kill her before she can assist any further. Gajeel, though, in a series of Gajevy moments, uses his shadow to catch up to Levy, grabs her and then whacks Torafuzar right on the head, screaming for him to back the fuck away from Levy.

Episode was enjoyable in terms of story and content, and unlike others I didn't think the overall animation was "bad" per se, but the all the shadows and crap from the Etherious Forms and the Tenchi Kaimei water sort of...lessened the quality for sure. It made everything appear grainy and overshadowed the underlying motion of the characters. Well, Etherious Modes were cool so +1? "Censored" Gajevy moment was a big disappointment. Let's teach kids that they can beat the shit out of each other, but god forbid they see people kiss! What kind of world would it be where we promoted LOVE? >_> Well...whatever...

Score: 6/10. Grainy episode because of poor use of shadow effect, also they didn't even animate one of the best panels of the Tartaros arc properly. Big letdown in the big, key panel department. I'm trying to ignore the fact that Levy actually gave Gajeel carbon dioxide, and therefore it should've killed him faster, but the botched up the kiss scene, so just like how it made no sense in the manga, marking it down here, too.

Episode 255

So...now we get to this. Gajeel asks Levy to give him air again, and she thinks he means another make-out session, but she figures out that he means her magic, and after some embarrassment, she creates air by writing the word air in the...air. Or water. Whatever. Well, Gajeel uses this chance at revitalization to attack Torafuzar again, but Torafuzar reveals that he has the ability to harden his body and has the greatest defense of the Demon Gates, and when Gajeel punches him...there's blood. This is rare indeed... Well Torafuzar then grabs Gajeel and starts squeezing him to death, and then we enter Iron Shadow Dragon's Flashback Mode. We go back to Gajeel's Phantom days where he's brought to trial for destructive tendencies and the Council lets him go, or something. Whatever. Anyway, Belno approaches him and tells him to live a life of meaning rather than waste away like other men his age. He blows her off saying that his life has meaning, which is destroying Fairy Tail. We then flash forward in the flashback, to when Gajeel finds Belno's dead body at the start of the arc. We then cut to him being all alone and crying over her death because he never got a chance to say thank you to her for looking out for him before she died. He contemplates revenge, but figured Belno wouldn't like that, and instead resolves to take her words to heart and just live a life of meaning.

Gajeel after defeating Torafuzar

Dem sparkles tho

At this point, Gajeel breaks free from Torafuzar's grip and says that his meaning to live is to protect all the people that he loves, and then we get some awesome chemistry. Gajeel's iron skin has slowly been soaking in the waters of Tenchi Kaimei, which are poisonous due to the amounts of carbon that exists inside. Well, what does Iron + Carbon equal? Steel. Gajeel uses this new skill to slash through Torafuzar, most probably kill him, and dispatch Tenchi Kaimei with his defeat in a mad flashy way. Gajeel also tells Natsu to prepare him a song, referencing their earlier bet about the winner getting a song written for them by the loser. So, Gajeel falls now, really exhausted, and realizes that Tempester is still around, and before he can be killed by the other Demon Gate...

Laxus appears one more time

Much wut, so abs, very Laxus

...a bolt of lightning drops. Laxus is here to save Gajeel. Insert "WUUUUT THE FUUUUUUK IT'S NOT GRAY THIS IS HORSESHIT OMGWTFROFL" and let's get a move on... Tempester seems to remember his battle with Laxus and then they kinda duke it out (well, Laxus kinda stands there), with Tempester trying shit like cyclones, which Laxus dispels, and new stuff like massive telekinetic boulder strikes (what the fuck? I have to say that this is weird), which fail also. Tempester wonders how Laxus can fight while being poisoned by the Magical Barrier Particles, and the notices that he's standing still and not making hardly any offensive strikes.

Tempester tries some weird fire breath shit (goba? Wut?) that fails and the two duke it out a bit, with Tempester being punched in the stomach and sent flying. Buuuuuuut Laxus then collapses because Tempester hit him in the lung, extorting that fact that his organs are basically already falling apart. Tempester starts approaching Laxus with words that he won't win, but Laxus jolts his body with electricity to give himself some adrenaline boost and stands up, prepared to win regardless.

Anyway, let's be honest here: Mashima said in his volume 49 afterword that he planned on three villains being put in the arc that were taken out at the last second (that would've been Rusty and his Azuma and Zancrow apparitions) and that Laxus had a greater role that was removed (clearly this. A redemption fight). So I don't get the bitching. Are people not aware of this fact? Like, seriously, it was paraded about the whole wiki that there were going to be Mashima-condoned additions to the arc, and that they were originally part of his Tartaros arc but had to be taken for whatever reason (betting on his editor said they weren't relevant in the long run). So like, why the hate on this? The animation was just awesome. The still frames we have on the wiki do not do the episode justice at all. Watching it in fluid motion was just amazing. And don't get me started on Laxus. His part was just glorious. It's not like he's all well and done. We know he has a crazy amount of durability, but he's bordering on organ failure and any hit that he takes is detrimental to his life. Not like he's in peach condition, here... It was something that I fully maintain should have happened in the manga. Tempester got underplayed so hard, and the stat cards for the 9DG indicate that he's actually their 4th strongest member, and Hiro didn't ever really show that. Here, they did. +1 to the anime team for including Mashima's awesome, amazing and should-have-been-in-the-manga content.

Score: 7/10. Awesome animation. Fluid fighting between Gajeel and Torafuzar (won't deny a couple derps here and there), and Laxus and Tempester. Thought it was amazing in terms of overall delivery of the "canon content" and the hate wasn't really justified as far as Laxus was concerned, imo. I literally didn't watch this episode for over a whole week because all you guys did was bitch about it and it turned me off to it completely. And then I caved because Misk kept bugging me to watch it and see how great it was, and I loved the ever loving crap out of it. So...yeah. ( .__.) It's also worth mentioning that there was a lot of blood in this episode (by FT anime standards) between Laxus and Gajeel. However, it's still worth mentioning that we had two flashbacks to the scene where Laxus sucked up the particles, and uh...they weren't really necessary. They were annoying, detracted from the moment, and served no real purpose. I mean how could we forget about them? You guys only replayed that specific scene a bazillion times in your goddamn 7 minutes recap over and over again over the course of a bunch of episodes...

Episode 256

Gonna point out, manga chapter of "The Final Duels" wasn't even about fighting. In the manga, all I'm gonna say is Tempester got one-shot wicked hard. There was no fighting, or preparation for other fighting, aside from what happened at the end of the episode.

Laxus continues the fight

RAGING BORUTOOOOOO

So we get back to the fight between Laxus and Tempester, and Laxus is putting in more effort now, using shit like Raging Bolt (omg I died. That was awesome, also I'm ignoring the filler crap about looking for Laxus ( .___.) Ignoring filler for other filler! Hoorah!) But...this does nothing, sadly. He just continues to get overwhelmed, and even when he has a "strength of humans" speech and uses Narumikazuchi, he gets beat and then buried in a pile of rubble. We get a flashback of Natsu talking to him about leaving it to his friends to handle things when he was in the infirmary, and then Laxus gets back up extorts the fact that Tempester get close to him by grabbing his wrist and hitting him with...Lightning Dragon's Iron Fist! Hell yeah. ( ^__^) Tempester coughs blood up onto Laxus' coat, and Laxus throws his coat to Gajeel and tells him to take it Porly to heal him and the others.

Ummm...random cut to Mak standing in front of FT's ruined building, saying something about how it won't be over as long as FT still has members around. I guess. .-.

So, Gajeel picks up Laxus and tries to hobble him off even though he goes all, "Nuuu leave me and save yourself and everyone!" but Gajeel retorts with "Fuck you, it's my conscience," so there's that. :'D Buuuut, Tempester rises, reveals that he has the most durability (not defense) out of the Gates, and that he's called The Immortal because the 9DG get a supply of Curse Power from Mard Geer, and his enhances his demonic healing factor to unreal rates. He tells them that Hell's Core is destroyed, and therefore so is his ability to revive, and that they have to knock him out with one attack so powerful he can't heal.

Gray freezes the particles

Not as badass as in the manga. Was very disappointed :/

Well, guess what? We do. Laxus elecrifies the puddles of Tenchi Kaimei on the ground, which amplies the power of his Lightning Dragon's Roar immensely, and Tempester is completely out for the count. He then commits suicide by turning himself into Devil Particles again, intending on killing everyone, but...Gray arrives and freezes absolutely everything, including the Devil Particles, with his Devil Slaying Magic. When he questions Gajeel about obtaining Tempester's blood, Gajeel says it's on Laxus' coat, and Gray walks away. He asks Gray what's going on, and Gray merely says that he's gonna annihilate Tartaros. Umm...m'kay then. ( .___.)

Seilah begs Kyôka to win

Here: Have a look at my honey Seilah's boobs for your (and my) viewing pleasure =)

So, after some misdirection, we cut to the girls and the Exceeds finding the control room (hot damn, Minerva is hot as all everloving fuck), and they see the chairman and try to run towards him, but they are stopped by...MY FUCKING GORGEOUS HONEY SEILAH LIKE WOW OMG SUCH BONER!!!!! Erm, I mean, uh, Seilah shows up and makes everyone choke themselves with Macro. Woohoo. ( ._.) Oh, and Kyoka is there too. <_< She reveals that she is controlling Crawford since Keyes died, and then Mirajane comes flying up out of nowhere like holy cow and knocks Seilah down. Remembering the glorious leg spread in the manga that let me see her panties, and seeing a slightly censored version of her panty shot (which is rectified by the fact that her boobs are just totally accented. Like oh my wow, if you thought they were big before, watch this episode XD), I finally pay attention to the episode again after pausing to calm down my raging Seilah hard-on and see that Crawford fell over and that Seilah thinks she failed. Kyoka tells her not to worry, as Crawford activated all 3,000 Faces and that they will detonate in less than an hour. Seilah then gives Kyoka the rest of her Curse Power (which wasn't much considering she wasn't healed from her fight with Mira), and Kyoka turns around to deal with Erza, who in turn is being begged by Minerva and the others to stop Kyoka and Face. Erza requips into Armadura Fairy and they have an epic (for now. U wot?) staredown.

Score: 7/10. There are reasons for this. The animation was fantastic, don't get me wrong. But the anime had the perfect chance to squeeze in Gray's original manga role, and well, they didn't. It was nowhere near as epic, and I was sitting here the whole time hoping they would. What a let-down. Ugh. They let one of the biggest, most badass parts Gray had in the entire series just get wasted, so whatever, I guess... Overall, the chapter originally was only quite average. So marks off for Laxus defeating Tempester, marks off for Gray's reduced, nowhere near as awesome role, and marks off because idk, the episode just kinda dragged. I mean, yeah, Seilah boobs and stuff, but that doesn't define the episode for me. >_> Whatever, it was an average episode with above average animation. So eh. Above average score, I guess...

Episode 257

Let's just jump right into where we left off last time where Erza and Kyoka battle each other, and it's...bad. Like bad. Like oh my god, this is easily some of the worst animation I have seen this anime put forth. Anyway, Erza and Kyoka trade blows, Kyoka uses her whip talons to attack Erza, throws pillars at her and all that shit, but she parries, dodges, yada yada and then slashes Kyoka, but it didn't do much other than just surprise her. During the battle, Mira grunts in pain (sorry Rai, I double checked, it's not a horny noise), and Happy and Lily ask if she's doing alright, and she says she is and upon being posed a query, she says that Elfman and Lisanna are with Jet, Droy and Warren fighting a whole bunch of Lummy clones. ...and can I please point out that Seilah gets up like it's nothing and just pimp walks out of the area in this flashback? Like omg. In the manga during the flashback, she kind of crouched over and ducked off. Here she just gave no fucks and straight up strolled offscreen. Hilarious. :'D

Buuuut they all stop their fighting and babbling because in the distance is...a noise. Yes, a noise! Must be really loud because they all stopped fighting their life and death battle to stop the ever-ticking clock that is the eradication of magic across all of Ishgar to listen to faint something. >__> Now we cut to Wendy, not-yet-loli Carla and Pedobalt, where they notice that Cube has crashed and that everyone is still inside of it (including Warren, who she needs for her plan), but then Wendy mysteriously collapses, but her eyes are wide open and her heart is beating ridiculously fast, and apparently the cause is that noise in the distance. Now we get to the major Etherious fights group, where Gajeel holds up Laxus' blood-stained coat and tells the worried folks that because of Laxus overdoing it, they have the cure to the Devil Particles, and he asks Levy to take it to Porlyusica. Juvia then asks for Gray, and Gajeel reveals that he was in the area briefly, but that he became incredibly powerful and froze the Devil Particles and everything in an instant. Juvia begins to wonder how something like that could happen, but realizes that it probably happened when she killed Keyes, and therefore Silver. And uh, can I just say that the OST during the entire episode thus far was god-tier? Like, seriously. Holy balls. ( ^____^)

Gajeel ends by saying that Gray ran off, and Natsu stands up and...turns around and sits back down. It looks like he's trying to think (lol, joke in and of itself), but his eyes go wide when he hears that same noise everyone else has been hearing. Lucy wonders what's going on with him, and Gajeel says that he's probably sulking over Gray getting a power-up, but Natsu turns his head, terrified, and asks Gajeel if he really can't hear the voice as well. Now Gajeel goes wide-eyed, and we hear that it really is a voice, or more like a roar. What's left of Cube begins rattling and falling apart; we cut to Mard Geer vs. Twin Dragons, and Mard Geer seems to recognize what the "voice" belongs to, but Sting and Rogue are absolutely clueless, though it is clear that it really is a voice now. Mard Geer, though, begins to get a little hot under the collar. Okay, we're just cutting through lesser wizards and literal fodder FT members now, so whatever. Whatever the source of the voice is is rushing through the clouds at break-neck pace (Gray seems to recognize what it is, as does Cana, and apparently a whole lot of other people [all Team Tenrou] as we get cut after cut after bloody cut...) Mard Geer wonders what lured the "demon" to their location, hypothesizing that it was Zeref, while Natsu shouts that he'd never forget the owner of that voice. We got some close-up shots, and the owner of the voice, flying straight towards Magnolia is...

Acnologia arrives

Great still shot, tho

...ACNOLOGIA! Man, this OST is really just doing the job of hyping me up. ( .___.) Elsewhere, in his volcano land, Igneel wonders if the time to make his move has arrived. Now we basically just get a bunch of minutes of Acnologia blowing shit up indiscriminately with his Dragon's Roar and people freaking the ferk out, though when Erza mentions to Kyoka Acnologia's name, she seems to at least recognize who he is. Meanwhile, Wendy is still down and out with her heart thumping, and before long, the same happens to Natsu and Gajeel, and even Sting and Rogue. Fun to point out here that even Mard Geer mentions that at this point, even he can't predict what is going to happen. Back to Acno blowing shit up all up and down the area, Elfman tells his fighting group that they can't give up, while the fodder FT members try and evacuate the Devil Particle victims, but Acnologia's mere act of just flying over Cube sends everyone flying (we get a nice shot of Cana wondering what they did to deserve all of this). Mard Geer is revealed to have abandoned his fight with the Twin Dragons to get closer to Acnologia and realizes that the man-made dragon is here to destroy E.N.D., whom he apparently fears; Acnologia prepares to fire his strongest roar: the same one that obliterated Tenrou Island.

Igneel arrives

Um, okay still shot, tho?

Now, you thought the stuff up until now was heavy? Get real. ( ^__^) Igneel telepathically contacts Natsu and tells Natsu that the time for him to act has come and mentions that he has faith that his son can stop E.N.D., but this of course, causes Natsu to freak and start shouting Igneel's name, which confuses everyone around him, really. Igneel promises to find some way to stop Acnologia, and then Natsu's stomach starts glowing, which puts him in a lot of pain, gotta say. Now...cue the flashback of happy Natsu as a kid with Igneel, which is narrated by Mirajane's monologue from chapter/episode 2, combine that with the soundtrack and filler parts of Natsu looking for Igneel and him sitting all alone in a forest wondering how his dad is doing, and then throw in an OST that makes baby kittens sound hideous by comparison and...you get a little emotional. Igneel apologizes to Natsu for being silent for years, and then he appears from...within him. Yeah, Igneel was hiding inside Natsu all these years, and what comes out isn't just the badass Fire Dragon King, it's also a badass soundtrack. >__> Now, the look on Natsu and everyone's face was exactly the look all us manga readers had when this chapter came out well over a year ago, and I'm sure it's the look you anime-viewers had as well. =P

Anyhow, Igneel says that there's a lot to talk about, but that it'll have to wait until Acnologia is defeated. He rams into the dragon and tells Natsu to keep on living, and then the dragons ram into each other like two kids trying to make Barbie dolls make out. Well, here is where I kind of admit that I cried a little, because the 10 second intro line to the ending, which is a reall emotional song to begin with, starts playing with Natsu crying saying, "Dad". ( .__.)

Score: 5/10. This episode was content gold, garbage otherwise. It was still shots everywhere. There was no movement. It may as well have been a slideshow, and with the music it still would have been just as epic. >__> It either looks like crap and it moves fluid, or it looks beautiful and it moves like crap... very few inbetweens, and after two very well animated episodes, I was hoping that this episode could be animated well at the very least, considering what it was about. But I guess not. I mean, Acnologia in a weird pose, flying through the air? Not buying it. What little movement was required of the dragons they botched. Erza vs. Kyoka was like a flipbook gone wrong. Whatever. (._. ) At least the OST was amazing. And that's an understatement, and to a point that took your eyes away from the visual crap that was this episode, but you can't discount that in the slightest. :/

Well guys, I know I gave a couple lower scores (6) and whatever, but let's not forget that 5 is an average score? These are all above-average marks, sans the 6's, really, so I hope you don't think I gave it low marks because it wasn't a 7, which apparently has become the new staple for average. Ah well, that's it for me this month. Combined Score: 7. See you (hopefully) on December 1st, guys!

Well, what can you do ( ._.) let's begin the damn article guys~

DESIGN

Jellal's appearance in X791

Jellal's design in the whole manga X791

Jellal has a very animu appearance. It is very unique, but remains unrealistic by real life standards. He has blue hair ( a trait he shares with Juvia), and has a tattoo on his face since he was a kid, with no mention as to what it means or how and why he got it. According to Rave fans, though, it's supposed to be a nod to a character in Rave Master, so I'll let it slide.

As for his stylistic choices; while in the council as Siegrain, Jellal donned a simple white suit and pair of pants. Then in the Tower of Heaven he had a really nice hoodie which I'd really like to own, but then he switched to his lame and gay battle outfit ( .___.) I really hated that one, and thought it looked ridiculous. His outfits post-CS creation are really nice too, and they also have armor involved, probably they are designed for a fight.

Jellal in Fighting clothes

ULTRA GAY!

All in all, Jellal's design is great and all, but if I had to complain, I feel like his personality and appearance don't really match? I'd expect him to look more like Rogue, or Gray, or someone with a less crazy design, given his quiet and modest personality.

9/10 Pretty unique

PERSONALITY

Jellal's life in a nutshell: He was taken by a Zeref cult as a boy, forced to work as a slave. Then he became a leading figure despite his age, setting up a resistance against his captors, until he was taken prisoner and brainwashed into becoming a Zeref follower himself.

After he is beaten down, presumably dies, returns with amnesia and goes through the same things as more or less every soap opera protagonist ever, he finally regains his memories, turns himself in to the authorities, and later forms his own guild, aiming to stop Zeref at all costs. At the same time he tries to right all his past wrongdoings.

Sounds pretty big, right?

Yeah, but hear me out.

Despite his huge character journey I'm on the fence when it comes to Jellal's personality. On one hand, the trait of his I love is that he doesn't make excuses like "I was being controlled" to escape the things he's done, and actually faces the consequences of all of his actions. It goes to say how good and honest of a person he really is on the inside. I've also said how I love CrimeS for actually getting shit done without considering themselves heroes. On the other hand though... I really hate the "good guy turns bad, but not really" trope that's often used, Jellal also being a victim of that. Shit happens, and sometimes good people turn bad or make bad choices. I'd rather see Jellal realizing that he lives in a fucked up world and decides to join Zeref himself before eventually ammending, instead of making it all about Ultear brainfucking him and leaving him with no choice on the matter, before Erza "brings him back to the light".

Speaking of which, why is Jellal considered such a dark individual anyway? Sure, he has questionable allies, but what's the darkest thing he's done ever since he escaped Ultear's grip...? Literally NOTHING comes to mind.

Also, he loses a few points for being so "dark and mysterious", which quite frankly comes off as being emo. Also, he really doesn't look like his younger self in any way. I understand he did some growing up, but he lost most of his positive personality traits, like his optimism, or I dunno, ability to smile.

I guess the best word to describe Jellal is just...

https://33.media.tumblr.com/ff891f3778ea02f08e1d0be4aa6c6727/tumblr_inline_nod6glciBw1spgtl3_500.gif

ABILITIES

https://33.media.tumblr.com/3f7c1a685fc67d31916d6384375b79fe/tumblr_mkjxk9NdNF1rmho61o1_500.gif

Jellal's magic is pretty awesome. He mainly utilizes heavenly body magic, which revolves around astronomical objects, like meteors, stars and other stuff. It's flashy, it's fast and overall it is pretty damn awesome. Jellal is also a powerhouse at many other types of magic, involving Fire Magic (deciding Natsu's victory against Zero), other elemental Magic, Dark Magic (in the past), and many, many more. In fact he may have displayed the widest range of Magic in the anime and manga so far, which is pretty awesome.

Overall I'd say he is a jack of all trades, specializing mainly in Heavenly Body Magic. We haven't seen him fight that much in the manga, but what we've seen so far is pretty promising.

HIS BIGGEST POWER THO, IN CASE YOU FORGOT, IS GROPE ERZA AND REMAIN ALIVE TO TELL THE TALE

https://38.media.tumblr.com/d17cdfcfb6fa1fb3d4e768362ed7d82e/tumblr_mopw36n4yg1r3nw4do1_500.gif

HERE'S 'THE PROOF.

9/10 Damn!

SIGNIFICANCE TO PLOT/ROLE IN THE MANGA

Initially, Jellal was a supervillain, also used to demonstrate Erza's tragic past that made her be so reserved and closed up in personality. He was pretty awesome at that. After that he became a very reliable ally, and right now he's the most expected character to return, since he always does something big whenever he appears. I'd say his role in the story is pretty important, since he is the heroes' "trump card", and also a main character's love interest though I could care less about that tbh.

8/10 Very important since the beginning.

To sum up, as a character Jellal scores...8/10???? Are you kidding me? >___> I don't even know how this can be. I can't give him any lower in any of the categories, but I don't think he should be the 1st best rated character either... well, what can ya do ( ._.) I guess he deserves it?

Ichiya Vandalya Kotobuki Peter Dinklage

Okay, so this was probably the easiest issue of this article I've ever done. Peter Dinklage is, imo, the perfect match for Ichiya. Firstly, Peter Dinklage is HILARIOUS! And you have to be if you are going to portray Ichiya. Secondly, they are around the same height and they have the same hair color. And while Peter isn't anywhere near as ugly as Ichiya (few people in this world are), a little Makeup and that can be easily rectified. So, what do you guys think? Is he a good match for Ichiya? Do you know an actor who'd fit better? If so tell me in the comments! ^__^ And if you don't think Peter is a good choice, I'd really like to know why. And even if you do think he's a good choice, I'd like to know why in the comments.

Votes for Jose Porla

Fairy Raven Avatar
Jose is (well, was) one of the wizard saints, and pretty damn strong in a fight. According to Silver, Keyes is the weakest of the 9DG in a fight, to the point that Juvia, Jose's past underling, was able to beat him. The result seems pretty clear to me. In creepiness tho I'd give it to Keyes~
Ultraprime2 Avatar
I do think Jose would win in a straight-up magic battle. The guy fought Makarov pretty evenly for a while and man-handled a weakened Erza. His mere presense made Gray, Elfman and Mirajane nearly vomit. If it were a scaring contest, I'd give it to Keyes, seeing as I'd rather not encounter him while walking alone at night, but for this battle, I'd give it to Jose.'
Umnei
It's honestly right down the line but the only sensible way I can approach this is as so: Juvia's former master vs. Juvia's defeated opponent :)
IamJakuhoRaikoben
I'm going to have to give this to Jose. Jose was a pretty powerful opponent, who performed some amazing feats before Makarov Fairy Law'd his ass, lol. Keyes' demon particles are hard to counter, yes, but not impossible. I imagine that given Jose's strength, he has something in his arsenal that could serve as a countermeasure for them.

Votes for Keyes

Wrath
Keyes hands down. This isn't a contest, really. Keyes' body is made of Devil Particles. If he does what he did to Juvia, but to Jose, We have not seen Jose be able to turn his body into a state of matter like Juvia can that allows him to totally counter it. Keyes swallows Jose, cannot be hit by his attacks anyway, Keyes can create magic deficiency syndrome through his particles. Go Tartaros.
Relikz
I think it really depends on who Keyes uses Necromancy on. For example, it could be said that in some way Silver was part of Keyes' power. So if Keyes can necromance a powerful Mage or just many decent Mages, plus his own Devil particle abilities plus the skeletons (which really should have been used more in the manga), I'm sure Keyes could take down Jose. Of course I'm not saying it would be easy in any way as Jose is pretty powerful with his Shades and his large blasts of puke darkness, but I don't think he would be able to stand against an army of pwoerful necromanced Mages.
God
Have to give this one to Keyes. Yes, Juvia defeated Keyes and yes, Jose was formerly Juvia's master, but lets look at some facts. Juvia was an S class mage of Phantom, meaning that she was one of the strongest in the guild. Since then, she has only gotten stronger and although Mashima likes to make her off to be a joke, we can clearly see she is actually quite capable and a very powerful mage. Keyes has a body made of devil particles. Juvia was able to win due to being able to change her body into water and defeat him that way. She basically had the perfect magic for defeating Keyes. Jose I don't think would fare as well here, so I have to go with Keyes.
The staff members have made their picks. Now it falls on you to decide. Place your votes in the comments before the deadline and your vote will be counted in the final tally.

Do you have any plans for this Halloween?
A: Not particularly, no. It used to be fun to dress up and party but I guess I've outgrown those childish habits :) Oooo is that vodka I see? *runs off*
Do you like Jack Skellington, or is he too skinny for you?

What's the scene for Halloween in Greece like?
A: Honestly? Halloween is a completely foreign concept in Greece, and only in the last 2-3 years has it began being celebrated in any shape or form. HOWEVER, all of you should definitely google image search "apokries". It happens in February/March and I love it, way more than I ever loved Halloween in America :P it's basically never-ending carnivals for a few days.

I love this movie, I love its sound track; many parts of it have been covered by bands: Rise Against did "Making Christmas"; Marilyn Manson did "This is Halloween"; The All-American Rejects did this one, "Jack's Lament", and maybe there were more covered, but I'm not sure. In short, oh my fucking god I fucking love this fucking movie I can't wait to watch it again. :3

What makes you so interested in Halloween?
A: Simply put? I love creepy things, I love decorating, I love candy, and I love fantasy and pretending to be something I'm not. Halloween combines all those aspects into one phenomenal holiday.
What would you do if Halloween were to suddenly become so unpopular that nobody celebrated it?
A: I'd be fine with being that wierdo who celebrated Halloween alone. :D

Do they celebrate Halloween in India?
A: Nah. People know about it, but nobody ever dresses up. Once in a while I see a friend or two post a costumed pic on Facebook, but that's about it.
What would you dress up as for Halloween if you celebrated it?
A: If I could dress up as anything, I'd dress up as something masked and/or complicated. It'd be a close choice between Zero from Code Geass (mask and all) and Zed from League of Legends. Yeah.

What would you make Jellal Fernandes dress up as on Halloween if you could force him?
A: Eh...Jellal? I don't think I could force him to do anything. He'd easily take a stick and shove it up my butt.
Gajeel: Yeah, but you know you'd enjoy it.
When is Acnologia gonna show up?
A: That guy's showing up!? Holy crap, we're DOOMED!
Where is your ideal vacation destination?

A: I'm not sure but you'll have to excuse me, I have an incredibly deep hole to dig and hide in if Acnologia ever decides to come around again.
Where is your ideal vacation destination?
A: It matters not where I go but what I do. As long as I am disciplined appropriately! *wearing handcuffs tied to a hot furnace*
Why is Rai so interested in Halloween?
A: Perhaps he is into dressing up, like a Cosplay King!

When is Acnologia gonna show up?
A: I imagine we'll find out when we manage to find Zeref.
Where is your ideal vacation destination?
A: Lisanna and I have been meaning to go to a spa resort for ages!

Who will be the next Spriggan to fall?
A: Anybody but Brandish-sama!
What would you make Jellal Fernandes dress up as on Halloween if you could force him?
A: Is that a guy's name? I could care less if he dressed up in a potato costume or his birthday suit. He doesn't get a pass.
When is Acnologia gonna show up?
A: Sadly Zeref-sama is pretty secretive about anything involving Acnologia~
Where is your ideal vacation destination?
A: Any place is okay as long as I get to rub Brandish-sama in all those places she can't reach~
Interviewer: That's really creepy, man.
Why is Rai so interested in Halloween?
A: I don't give a fuck about what any man may be interested in. He doesn't get a pass either.

Who will be the next Spriggan to fall?
A: It better be that Wahl man. I do not appreciate having my body stolen by that woman, but if she is to use it, the least she could do is use my power to get closer to Zeref.
What would you make Jellal Fernandes dress up as on Halloween if you could force him?
A: I would prefer to dress him up as a corpse, as Kyoka-sama wanted him dead in the first place.
When is Acnologia gonna show up?
A: Probably when my big studly Wrath-sama drops his alcohol addiction.
Interviewer: Seilah, babe, we promised not to talk about my alcohol problems in public. ( .____.)
A: I am aware, but I figured it's not really much of a secret anymore.
Interviewer: It's sad because she's right...
Where is your ideal vacation destination?
A: I used to like spending time at Wrath-sama's house where we would engage in hours of kinky, dirty coitus that even fanfiction.net couldn't host, as it was just too X-rated, but then some stupid bitch took my body. And now Wrath-sama is shit out of luck.
Interviewer: ...Again, she's right. ( .____.)
Why is Rai so interested in Halloween?
A: Probably because he is black and he can blend into the darkness of the night without a costume. It allows him to steal all the fried chicken he wants without much of a fight.

Trick or Treat Article
"It's late - almost midnight and all of the other trick or treaters have gone home. You would've been home yourself, but you've had very little luck scoring candy and you don't want your night to be a complete bust. All of the lights are off on every house in your neighborhood except one - Old Mr. Raikoben's house at the end of the block. You don't want to go to his house because you've heard plenty of stories about him and everyone in the neighborhood avoids him, but you're a daft teenager with no common sense and decide to try his house despite the rumors. You walk up slowly to his house - it's the only house with no Halloween decorations and yet it's the creepiest by far. When you reach the door, you notice there is no doorbell and are about to knock, when the door swings wide open. And there stands Mr. Raikoben - the oldest, blackest, vilest looking human being you'd ever laid eyes on.

"T-trick or treat." You work up the courage to say. Mr. Raikoben's face flares with anger and he grabs something out of his pocket. "PLEASE DON'T HURT ME!" You scream and close your eyes waiting for the pain to come, but it never does. You slowly open your eyes and see that he's placed a small orange box in your basket. "There. Now get the fuck off my lawn!" Mr. Raikoben says as he slams the door in your face. What could be in the box that he gave you? Is it a trick? Or a treat? Open it below to find out.

Welcome to Gate of the Horoscope! Or should I say.....Hallow-scope! Yeah people, it's Halloween and Rai wanted everyone to incorporate it into their articles. I couldn't think of anything for the Family Tree (scary as it may be) so I brought back this old article for one last appearance. So I'm here to tell you guys how Halloween 2015 will be for you with my amazing powers. After all, they don't call me the King of Uncool for nothing!
Aries ARIES
(March 21 - April 19)
It is strongly advised that you re-think your costume. A sexy take on John Oliver (yes, this is real) is inadvisable.

TAURUS
(April 20 - May 20)
Taurus
Since you find Halloween boring and pointless in your life, feel free to make your own fun. Take that as you wish.

Gemini GEMINI
(May 21 - June 20)
As you've got no plans of your own, the best thing to do is go along with someone else's plan.

CANCER
(June 21 -July 22)
Cancer
Watch out on the sugar content in the candy you receive. Sugar is detrimental to one's teeth. Brush hard!

Leo LEO
(July 23 - August 22)
You're likely to do nothing of significance on Halloween night. Be sure to take that free time to do something you enjoy. Watch a scary movie, perhaps.

VIRGO
(August 23 - September 22)
Virgo
If the house looks like crap, the candy you get from it will taste that way. Keep some good taste.

Libra LIBRA
(September 23 - October 22)
You'll have a great Halloween cause you've got an amazing costume. How many other people can pull off a "sexy table"?

SCORPIO
(October 23 - November 21)
Scorpio
Be sure to go out with friends on Halloween night. Whether you trick-or-treat or not is up to you. Do you really wanna spend the day alone?

Sagittarius SAGITTARIUS
(November 22 - December 21)
Avoid jaw-breakers and other super-hard candy. You're likely to feel more pain than taste from them.

CAPRICORN
(December 22 - January 19)
Capricorn
Be sure to keep your house clean. You never know what some passers-by might end up seeing when they get close. Keep the cat back too.

Aquarius AQUARIUS
(January 20 - February 18)
Halloween is a great day to prank people. Even though they know it's coming, they will never be prepared. Get those eggs ready!

PISCES
(February 19 - March 20)
Pisces
Do not carry any candy beyond your limits. Your body won't be able to handle it. Your arms risk snapping like black licorice.
