So...this month was hell. ( .___.) Like, we made a whooooole lot of new pages and shit, but some silly mexican never categorized any of his images, made galleries, or really anything, so I had to spend the better part of 5 hours categorizing every image, making galleries (which isn't my job, btw), and then sorting them all out. Sounds like I'm bitching, right? Well I am. I hated every second of it, but I did it anyway because I knew no one else would really tackle something like that. So if you could all seriously take a second and appreciate what it is that we do, that'd be great. I mean, we all do so much thankless work, but when one person actually steps back and says, "Thank you for doing so much for the wiki," it really makes me appreciate this.
Also, so much work ethic for November. It was a little scary...That list is huge and it's been a long time since I've ever seen one resembling that length. ( ._____.)
Okay so, last month's puzzle winner was Carry, and obviously she doesn't get a prize because she falls into the category of "do whatever the fuck you want," so I iunno, have someone else get it right so I can actually follow through with the spirit of the prizes. .-. Anyway, the answer to last month's puzzle was the Ten Wizard Saints and I had some people challenge me on the logic of my haiku, but then I looked through most of the comments and the majority of the guesses were the Ten Wizard Saints, so you guys can go fuck yourselves. =)
Alright bitches, so this month we're having two puzzles! Yay~ I hope you have fun with these, cuz you've got to get them both right to get the prize. ;) The first one is right here, and the clue to the second puzzle is hidden somewhere below. Have fun! (/^__^)/
The Eclipse Celestial Spirits have their own pages, per a discussion held on the CS talk page. Personally, this makes organizing them much easier. ( .__.)
As per a forum that nobody really participated in, the community guilds can no longer close their applications. That means that anyone can apply to be in a guild now, at any time. So if you see something you want to join, feel free! I didn't have Rai start the discussion so that you guys couldn't help. =D
There was a discussion about conflicting categories (i.e having "antagonist" and "former antagonist" on the same page), and they were removed and categories and pages were recategorized to be more proper.
<----- Lawl at the size of this list Image Changes:
None, but I'm still dreaming for the day when Rogue will have a profile picture that is 100% glorious. ( _ _)
November's Sexiest Mage Alive is Virgo! She's a Celestial Spirit (the first to ever be featured on this article!) that exists to serve her owner in any way possible - even making herself look like some horrid cross between a gorilla and Susan Boyle. >_>
Can change her appearance based on her owner's desire
"I am a loyal Celestial Spirit to my owner. I work in whatever appearance you'd like me to."
Le Sexy Me: *Walks into the magazine workplace* Oh wow...I really haven't done anything with TMITA, have I? Huh, maybe I should actually watch the episodes as they're released... ( .___.) ...nah. Binge. Binge it all.
Recap: Rai wanted last month's issue published right on Halloween, so here we are with the episode that was released on Halloween (my time)!
Once everyone returns and they assess the situation, Lucy calls out Crux, who tells them a few things:
The contracts between wizards and the gold spirits have been nullified out of the blue.
The Celestial Spirit World has fallen into disarray and they are being terrorized.
The King has disappeared without a trace.
Liberum: the ritual that the spirits are going to perform to attain their "perfect freedom" and it requires a special kind of globe.
Well, Natsu runs off to beat the shit out of Loke after that and the girls decide to go to a library to research Liberum, and while they're there, Eclipse Virgo shows up and Yukino shows us all her special skills.
( .____.) Bitch can punch.
Anyway, long story short the sadist hoe gets the globe, brings it to Loke, and they all learn that in exchange for achieving "perfect freedom" they only get to live for 12 days. <sarcasm>Awe-fucking-some.</sarcasm>
Le Sexy Me: *wakes up in the middle of episode* Eh?? Oh, right. It was so boring I fell asleep...
...Hisui shows up with keys that can force close the gates to the Eclipse Spirits and bring them back to normal. Eclipse Pisces shows up and tries to steal them. They all fight. Eclipse Pisces steals the keys. Arcadios reveals that Hisui is a stupid little slut and that Pisces stole fake keys and that they still have the real ones. The group continues on to a place called Astral Spirytus where the Eclipse Spirits are conducting their ritual to attain freedom.
Gonna be honest, didn't watch this one. If I wanted to watch Yu-Gi-Oh! I would've gone to anilinkz and watched ARC-V. But just for fun...
So I got food poisoning and other sorts of illnesses, so you're gonna have to excuse TMITA this time around. Feel free to post your thoughts on the episode, though, cuz I really do care~
So wikia in all of its greatness, decided to be a piece of crap over the past few days and wouldn't let me edit half the time I tried to work on this. The rest of the magazine team decided that they would use my inability to edit as a reason to slack off and wait a day or two on getting their articles done. Its their fault the magazine is late, not mine!
As an apology. I bring you not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4 but 5 chapters all in one TMITM. Rejoice!
So after the holy freaking fuck of Mavis being Lumen Histoire, Makarov instructs everyone to head for the guild. However, Droy, practically in tears, states that the guild was destroyed. Makarov counters, saying head to the basement. Elfman still a whining baby over being controlled and destroying the guild, says he will stay behind. You know, for a guy whose character is about nothing other than being manly, Elfman sure is a crying little bitch. Unable to convince Elfman, Makarov tells him to do what he wants. He then tells Doranbolt to come as well. Doranbolt states he is not a member of the guild, but Makarov says he is needed to erase everyone's memories of Lumen Histoire once they are done. And this is where I got on my knees and begged Mashima to just show what the thing does already. Anyway, Doranbolt then figures that Makarov intends for him to wipe his own memories as well, which Makarov confirms, but says that he must.
Back in the skies Igneel and Acnologia continue to duke it out for two pages of verbal insults before the scene changes over to Mard. Mard, sitting on his throne, tells Kyouka to hurry it up as we get to see bits of her fight with Erza...again, which was fantastic! (Hi Jess, see I said nice things about Erza). Mard then explains that he wishes to revive E.N.D. and explains all of Zeref's demons have a desire to "return to Zeref". This is because Zeref cursed his immortality and created the demons to kill him. E.N.D. was his final masterpiece but was sealed inside his book and only once FACE destroys all the magic, can the seal be broken. Sting, upset, asks why Mard is dragging people into his business, to which Mard asks if he goes out of his way to avoid stepping on a weed in his path. Mard then attacks, knocking Sting and Rogue back and summoning a giant plant to attack them. But before it can do much, the plant is frozen as Gray arrives and gives Natsu his scarf back. Gray then freezes Mard's arm and says he is there to defeat him and that he is a Devil Slayer.
This was an ok chapter. The explanation we got for why they need FACE and why they keep saying return to Zeref was nice. Gray is back as expected but eh, I don't care for him. My main problem with this chapter is I just want to fucking see Lumen Histoire now. So I shall show you all my impatience by placing

at the top of each chapter section to show how many chapters it has been since the reveal with no info added on to it.
Chapters since Lumen Histoire reveal:2
Shocked over this new development with Gray, Rogue has to think very hard conclude that if Dragon Slayers can slay Dragons and God Slayers slay Gods, then Devil Slayers must slay Demons. Good job Rogue, Wrath will give you a cookie later
Wrath: Are you making fun of my Rogue? e_e
God: Why I would never!
Anyway, Gray attacks and freezes Mard, who realizes that Gray is using Silver's magic. Breaking the ice, Mard states he always knew that Silver would betray him, just not like this. Mard and Gray continue to trade blows then as Gray gets all serious and throws a big lance of ice at Mard who for once stops grinning. Gray goes in for the kill when someone steps in to take the attack for him. As the dust clears, it is revealed to be Jiemma who, in a move that shocked absolutely everyone (and by everyone I mean no one), he has become a demon. Can anyone say they never thought for a moment that he would show up as a demon? Obvious Mashima is obvious. So everyone is shocked with him showing up and Gray displays his new power of omniscience by saying Jiemma became a demon just like Minerva despite never encountering Minerva since she became a demon. Jiemma then states that he chose this power for the sake of becoming the strongest and Mard states Jiemma's power surpasses the Nine Demon Gates. Mard tells them all to meet their newest member but Jiemma takes issue with being called just a member and says after he is done here, Mard is next, because the way to get ahead in this world is obviously to beat the crap out of your boss. As Jiemma rushes in, Natsu yells at the top of his lungs to not be afraid. However, Jiemma takes out Natsu in one punch, sending him flying back just in time to stop an attack from Sting and Rogue. He then smashes their heads together before the twin dragons counterattack. Sting and Rogue tell Natsu and Gray to leave Jiemma to them as the two then prepare to face off against Mard. Mard however, states that it has been 400 years since E.N.D. awakened and it was time for him to as well as he takes his demon form and reveals his full name is Mard Geer Tartarus. Natsu then spews some bullshit about in the name of Fairy Tail, they will win and the chapter comes to a close.
This chapter gets a solid eh from me. Nothing surprising or anything, just kind of a middle of the road fight chapter. It was okay I guess.
Chapters since Lumen Histoire reveal:3
So knowing the best way to fight a guy who just transformed into a whole new state and in the past has just whipped up vines at them whenever they got close, Natsu and Gray charge in foolishly only and freeze Mard's vines only to be grabbed up in his talons and flown high into the sky and then dragged along the ground with their faces scraping away. Meanwhile, Sting and Rogue fight their former Guild Master and are immediately put on the defensive. Sting says that it must have been him that got Minerva wrapped up in this, to which Jiemma says she was of no use. Hearing this gives Sting the power of friendship and he slaps Jiemma like the bitch he is. Okay maybe it was more of a punch but you get the idea. What follows is a battle of strength vs. friendship and bitch slaps from each side. Jiemma slaps the two dragon slayers up a bit saying strength is everything. Then Sting and Rogue get up and say they were weak for not believing in the power of friendship and bla bla bla. They attack Jiemma, he blocks and babbles on about how strong he is before Sting and Rogue talk about nakama power bullshit and how they learned it from FT. Jiemma knocks them back, talks about how strong he is again before Sting and Rogue say they will be strong like FT and be one with the power of nakama before they combine powers to defeat Jiemma with White Shadow Dragon's Rough Silk. Friendship has triumphed over strength. And like that, the person stronger than any of the Nine Demon Gates is defeated in one chapter.
Out of strength, Sting and Rogue say the rest is up to Natsu and Gray as they then collapse. Flash over to Natsu and Gray whose faces have become tires for Mard for some ten pages now, suddenly turn the tables on Mard and look relatively unscathed after flipping Mard over and getting the edge back.
So yeah, fun chapter.... typical nakama stuff and then Gray and Natsu bullshit. They had their faces run along the ground at high speeds for a good while, how are they not missing half their faces? Maybe next chapter will be better?
Chapters since Lumen Histoire reveal:4
Mard reverses their reversal and slams the two back on to the ground. Natsu unleashes his roar and Gray unleashes his version of a roar with his powers but Mard simply flies up and dodges. The two keep attacking to no avail before they run a quarterback sneak and Gray launches Natsu into the air inside a pillar of ice, surprising Mard as he pops out. Natsu smacks a hoe back into the ground before Natsu and Gray do the gentlemanly thing and don't try and finish Mard while he is down but rather wait for him to get back up.
Mard then goes into a speech of how magic was once all one but eventually split up before E.N.D, created curses. Curses are powered by negative feelings and the like. Hatred, envy, all the seven deadly sins. Natsu says that is dumb and magic is better but Mard activates his trap card, trapping Natsu and Gray n his ultimate technique he created to kill Zeref, Memento Mori. Those caught inside are neither alive nor dead, they just disappear. With his attack seemingly successful, Mard reverts back to his human form and says he will kill Zeref as he prepares for his evil monologue.
I won't say this was a bad chapter, it wasn't. It just felt lacking. It was little more than a fight chapter and barely one at that. It took 3 pages just for Natsu and Gray to launch their first attack. But hey, maybe Natsu and Gray are actually defeated?
Before Mard even has time to give an evil monologue and gloat about his success, Gray harnesses the power of bullshit to break out of Memento Mori. With half of his body demonized, in what I am calling Demon Force, Gray has broken the spell, shocking Mard. With seemingly no energy left, Gray collapses, stating he will believe in Natsu. Mard transforms again and charges at Natsu, who punches him away. Natsu, harnessing his nakama power, has activated dragon force with no external force. He then rushes after Mard and uses a flashy new fire attack. Mard survives the attack and grabs Natsu who is out of power. However, Gray utilizes his own nakama power to get up despite passing out earlier and use a flashy new ice attack. The ice pierces straight through Mard, but as he does so, the past timeline finally catches up to the main timeline and face is ready to activate.
The Bullshit meter is quite high on this chapter. This seems to be a very dividing chapter, some people loved it, others hated it. I am the latter. Too much bullshit with Natsu suddenly able to activate dragon force on his own and Gray recovering from passing out and having enough power to fire a giant ice arrow.
Well, thats all for this month, and remember, at least I am not as lazy as Wrath.
Hey guys. Guess what! After the first experimental issue, Raven's Coven is now a permament part of the SM! Which means I have to get off my ass and find something to write for you bastards ಠ_ಠ Nah, I'm not gonna even bother searching the subject. According to YOUR votes, you want this issue to be based on... *lowers glasses dramatically* LUCY HEART-FUCKIN-FILIA!
WHAT A SHOCK! Anyway, since you asked for it, I may as well do it. So bear with me and let's begin this nostalgia trip full of fanservice and epic pantyshot moments...
Lucy is the female lead of the series and if there's one rule most shounen mangas agree on, is sexual objectification of the female lead. Especially if the series is ecchi, if you find yourself invested in the female lead's compelling personality and interesting abilities, you're going to have a hard time, because you'll mostly get torn clothes and pantyshots and bewbs and tentacles! Luckily for us all, though, Mashima is not the traditional shounen mangaka, and Lucy is not the traditional shounen main female lead, at least not in all aspects.
Lucy's design is interesting and unique, almost like all designs in the series. Her appearance is according to the western beauty standards; teen, blonde, pretty face, lightweight, has curves and huge boobs. Want proof? You can easily spot all those words used above if you just browse any pornsite :P
So what is it that makes Lucy so unique, you ask? Despite all those traits, she is described as "average-looking" by most people, instead of drop-dead-gorgeous, unlike other blondes in other series, namely Yamanaka Ino from Naruto, a girl with whom she shares many similarities. There are also many comments about her being heavy, mainly from Happy, the guy guiding her around all the time, despite her weight being roughly 46 kg, according to Mashima.
What's most interesting, however, is that despite Lucy being the attractive female lead, Mashima doesn't hesitate to give us moments worth gold like these;
So there you have it! Lucy is a beautiful, teenage girl, but we're mostly supposed to think of her as a girl-next-door, in more ways than one. As for her outfits, as you'd expect, she mostly dresses light if at all, which involves really short skirts, sleeveless tops, and also carries around keys, and whips which she uses for combat (mainly).
All in all, I'd rank her design as:
7/10 NICE BODY!!! But nothing striking in her looks
Sorry, it's a joke I just had to make. Lucy, surprisingly, has the most shocking amount of character development in the series. She begins as a traditional teenage girl character; she is vain, fangirly, the straight man in most jokes, runs away from fights(unless things get serious), she's confident about her looks, she complains a lot, she's sometimes violent to her guildmates(not Erza) but ultimately has a heart of gold. The way Lucy's looks remind me of Ino, her personality reminds me of Nami from One Piece, leaving out the obsession with money.
Lucy was already a pretty good character, so how she develops, you may ask? Easy! Lucy is supposed to be this normal person thrown into a world of Magic and dangers, and we get to see how she copes with all kinds of crap and develops from it. Despite often running away from strong opponents at first, she later develops a strong bond with her friends and increasingly becomes more brave and daring. From an "everyday person", she becomes one of her guild's most prominent members, and in more cases than one, a hero. She also has her own daddy issues, mommy issues and other insecurities, and she often comes to face them and develop from that. There's just something so admirable about her and the way she faces things coming her way that just make you root for Lucy!
9/10 I JUST HAVE A SOFT SPOT FOR LUCY OKAY
Lucy's abilities... I'm not a fan of. They are so overused, especially in RPGs, which in my knowledge Mashima loves. She has the ability of the summoner - in the FT universe "Celestial Spirit Mage" - she calls stuff from another dimension. The creatures she calls are constellations, and her strongest ones form the Zodiac, which you may know from the 12 signs.
I personally never liked Summoners. I like my characters to fight with weapons, fists, spells they create themselves, not have their work handed out to them. And what makes things worse is that the Celestial Spirits ARE WEAK AS FUCK! I would love it if Lucy summoned cool dragons or huge sea monsters and stuff, but Celestial Spirits are the parody of summoners; the creatures they call are caricatures, have mostly lame powers and, what's more, exhaust them. THEY CANNOT EVEN BE USED AS SHIELDS BECAUSE THEY GET MAD AND THAT MAKES YOU A BAD CS MAGE WHAT THE FUCK.
Alright, okay, I'm calm. Yes, Lucy's Spirits may be weak, but at least her weapon of choice is kinda cool. It's a whip! How often do you see fighters wielding a whip? Exactly.
Also, despite Lucy's weapons, be it a whip or Spirits, being weak individually, Lucy's biggest asset in battle is her wits. She uses different patterns and combinations and also uses the environment around her to her advantage. That makes Lucy's fights the most interesting of the bunch, followed by Gray, another smart and strategic fighter.
Other attacks may include the joke attack Lucy Kicku, which is... well, a kick, and her most powerful attack, the one that gives Lucy fans seizures and fangasms everywhere around the world:
A skill acquired in a major arc and undoubtedly in one of Lucy's best fights, this is the only Spell so far that Lucy can use individually, without help from a Spirit. She chants some weird shit(chanting weird shit is always epic), some holograms of planets and stars and other stellar thangs appear around her, she then opens her eyes and
An explosion/shockwave knocks the fuck out of the enemy for good. So far this skill has been used 2 times and almost used a third, and it has sort of become Lucy's trump card. I'd love to see her develop more cool spells like these, but I don't have high hopes for this.
4/10 I don't like summoners
SIGNIFICANCE TO PLOT
Same with Natsu. We know she is important because her mother knew her shit and One Magic is supposed to be important. However, all her importance in the big picture so far mostly seems to stem from her mother(who is either being secretly alive and evil mastermind according to fan theories, or alive in general) or from her underlying romance with the main character.
6/10 Pretty important maybe
ROLE IN THE MANGA
Lucy's role in the manga, however, is a different story. Lucy begins as the normal person in a surreal world around her. She is mostly meant to identify with the audience, at least in the beginning, and that's why we see the story from her point of view, which is clear especially at the end of each arc, where we usually have her writing in the diary and recounting the epilogue of the arc.
She is also the emotional and moral compass of the story. She cries a lot, screams a lot and has all those sobstories, while Natsu is fighting the big bad. While also a fighter herself, Lucy doesn't fight the particularly strong enemies, and in fights she can't handle, she either runs away or is joined by a friend.
Like other traditional female leads, Lucy sometimes also plays the damsel in distress part, allowing the male lead to save her and free her from her oppressor, or even avenge her. I don't complain, though, because recently she's done some saving her friends as well.
My biggest issue, however, is that Lucy always ends up being the source of fanservice, one way or another. I should have known when I began Fairy Tail and reached this part
but I was just an innocent 17 year old guy then. I thought things would get better. But guess what? I don't think they did.
I mean, some pantyshots or bewbs every now and then are welcome, but I'm not really into ecchi so tentacle-esque things binding her, or her clothes getting torn all the time are things I'm not very comfortable with, especially when they happen to one of my fav characters. There's hentai if you want to see someone in these kinds of situations after all...
All in all, though, I can say I'm satisfied with how Mashima uses this character, minus the fanservice thing, so I'd rank her as:
9/10 Prominent role
Overall, Lucy's character scores as...6.8/10!!! She surpassed Natsu, which is... not that big of a feat, but I suppose it's a high score so...conratulations! Let's hear what other SM editors have to say about her, in only 3 words;
Needs uncensored nudity.
Huh ( ._.) I don't know what I expected. Next.
SEXY PRINCESS SEXY
Not very creative... >_> and that's 2 words!
Intelligent, beautiful, boobylicious.
That's the one thing we agree on ;D
I'd do her.
Who wouldn't? ;D Doesn't "I'd" account for 2 words though? >_>
Useless but hot.
Shut up! Lucy's not useless! You're useless and Aizen is useless >_>
Strong Independent Woman(needs no man)
Totally! I wouldn't mind being her man though ^_^
Well, there you have it. This was Lucy in Raven's Coven, and I approve of this message. See you all next month! Don't forget to vote for the character you want to see featured next:
Who should be the next guest of Raven's Coven?
Be sure to vote for the option you know you want to, which is obviously Minerva. See ya!
Welcome to the first and guaranteed to be the only issue of Bollywood Tail.
As I'm sure you guys know, I dropped the Fairy Tail manga from my reading list and I'm not in a mood to review any more parts of this extremely crappy arc, even if I'm not yet at its crappiest point. As such, this article has been created to replace The Earth Land Chronicles until such time as I feel like writing it again.
This article was inspired by a boring bus ride where I was thinking of how bad Fairy Tail's gotten as we passed some Bollywood movie posters. I then realized that Fairy Tail could've been far worse as a Bollywood movie than as a manga so that's where this idea was born. So, sit back and enjoy this ride.
Bit of fair warning, the following content is going to make fun of Bollywood and India a lot so if you're Indian and easily offended, you should probably skip this.
Time to venture into the place where dreams die and expectations are crushed, people!
Before we start with the movie however, the poster deserves our attention as we need to address how it'd be likely be done in Bollywood.
First, I'll explain the words to the bottom left.
Dost = Friend Punch = Tail
So, yes, if it were a Bollywood movie, Fairy Tail would most likely be named Friend Tail, or something of the sort. Granted, it's pretty accurate, but it doesn't really roll off the tongue, does it? There you go.
Second is Natsu. Basically, any (male) Bollywood hero will be featured in a poster from the bust and upwards, typically with an expression to show what they are like. As such, Natsu does this because he's a weirdo by Bollwood standards. Like they're one to judge, though. Anyways, he's depicted as a ninja of sorts here because he'll likely be a more silent hero (probably to the film's benefit) with some comical traits from time to time, though he'll not likely assume the literal role of a ninja at any point in the movie.
The final point is Erza. Even though most would argue Lucy plays a more important role in the series, Erza will be the one depicted due to (what we will see of) her behavior. As you can tell, the Erza of a Bollywood movie has zero problem showing off her body in revealing clothes. True, the Erza of the manga doesn't either, but the difference is that she doesn't do it as often because she normally wears armor and saves the bikinis or shorts for the most casual of days, such as beach days. Comparatively, Bollywood Erza is likely to wear what she wears in the poster for the entirety of the movie, garnering ogling from male characters and audience members. Mind you, I mean main male characters, as opposed to random male bystanders (though they'll be there too).
The story will begin in the same way as the Fairy Tail anime began, with Natsu riding the train. However, since it's Bollywood, he won't be the only one there. This train is going to be packed with people such that not everyone gets a seat. If you don't know what I mean, Google"Indian Train Crowd" images. Due to this crowd, Natsu will end up taking a double ride on the trade, as opposed to it being solely due to his motion sickness, a trait which will be remain present.
Meanwhile, Lucy's attempting to buy a key from a shop owner, as we know. However, while the anime and manga don't depict further interactions between the two after Lucy's attempt to charm him, this film will. Lucy's attempt to charm him, which will involve nothing more than cute smiles (as cleavage is still somewhat scarce in the films, though is growing more prevalent), will entice him a bit too much and he'll offer her what she wants in exchange for becoming his. Obviously, this being more than she's willing to give, walks out of the story.
But it doesn't end there, oh no. He chases after her and as she attempts to get free once he grabs her and tries to pull her back, Natsu will appear and knock him out quickly. How did he get there at just the right time? Why was he going to this city in the first place? Well, we have no idea. It's basically just plot convenience that we're going to question against the filmmaker's will.
Now that our hero and heroine have met, we'll have our very first Bollywood dance number in Dost Punch.
So, yes, they're be buddy-buddy from now on, their outfits will change for this specific dance and there will be lots of girls surrounding them in skimpy clothing whom we will never see again (much to our dismay) for the remainder of the movie. He'll talk (sing) about himself, she'll talk (sing)about herself and we're apparently supposed to pay attention to this content even though most people who like this will pay more attention to the surroundings, because the tall buildings, the girl's shorts and the SKY are more interesting than these two characters telling us about themselves while singing.
Well, during that song that nobody paid attention to, we learn that Lucy wants to join Dost Punch, the famous guild and she wanted to buy a key that would impress them with her ability to use Magic. Yes, the Magic thing hasn't changed from the main series. In a lovely coincidence, Natsu is from Dost Punch and decides that he'll take her there.
So, we'll get a travel scene with a lot of lush greenery until finally arriving in the city and in the city lies the guild building. Since it's Bollywood, this city will be a whole lot more crowded than Magnolia Town is in the anime or manga. We will go inside the guild building to see what it looks like and then we'll see how our favorite characters are in this Bollywood movie. I could be lazy and tell you that this is basically going to be Edolas Fairy Tail personalities, and that's exactly what I'm gonna do.
Gray and Natsu are buddy-buddy. Elfman's a sensitive man. Cana's a stereotypical proper-girl, as per whatever standards India had hundreds of years ago and still attempts to maintain. Loke is a playboy, but he wears leather rather than casual clothing, and he also rides a motorcycle.
I believe that's everyone who is important, so that's about it. We won't meet Makarov right away, and we'll know next to nothing about the guild as a whole. Oh, right! Mirajane is still a behind-the-counter girl. So basically, she'll notice Natsu and Lucy together and she'll suggest that the two of them work together from now on, if Lucy is accepted into the guild when the master returns. Natsu, feeling a connection in their very short time together, agrees and so does Lucy. As such, the two are now a team.
One thing you may have noticed so far is that there is no annoying blue cat. For whatever reason, Bollywood films feature relatively few talking creatures. Even aliens are relatively scarce in comparison to Hollywood films. Needless to say, this is one change that I'll argue is for the better for Fairy Tail.
That's right, as opposed to embracing Lucy after starting a team with her, Natsu's going to start another dancing number. Ignore Happy, if you will, because as I said, he's not in the movie but he's in this anime gif. This is not going to be a heavily-featured song in the movie's advertisements, but it will be there nonetheless to show that Natsu can let loose at times. Also, for those who are wondering, I'm still using the original names cause I couldn't be bothered to think of how they'd be if they were changed to Indian-origin names and to be honest, I don't want to.
So, since they've come to the guild, we're going to have what you all probably have seen at some point or another but may not know in detail. The most advertised songs in a Bollywood movie are known as the "Item Numbers" done by the "Item Girl" or in recent cases, "Item Boy". Sexism aside, this features the titular human in revealing clothes dancing and lip-syncing to music that makes everyone in the film happy for whatever reason. In the context of a film, the item number will be done often in places like parking lots, stages, or somewhere less mundane than an office building. For some examples, see here and here. So, since "why not?", let's assume that Mirajane is doing the item number. Happy, Rai?
Next up will be the first mission. In the anime, their first mission as a team was DAYBREAK, but here, it's more likely to be the rescue mission. Since we took no break between Lucy going to the guild and Natsu going after Macao, it only makes sense since he'd otherwise be stuck out there. The stuff like Romeo being mad at Makarov would undoubtedly remain the same, but we won't see it and Makarov won't be seen up front, only in flashbacks. Instead, we find out what happened to them from Mirajane.Mirajane will also be telling Lucy about Natsu's history. However, Dragons actually have essentially no role in Indian mythology. Most Indian myths feature some other kind of mythical creature so I figure if we're to have this Natsu raised by one of them, let's say it was a Yali, which is about the closest thing I can think of to a Dragon (not saying much). It doesn't matter though, since the mystery of the 7s won't exist in the Bollywood film.
So, he and Lucy head to Lake Rakshasa (ie. Mt. Hakobe, due to the relative lack of cold weather in India) to find Macao and along the way they find a Makara, which takes Lucy captive. Unlike the Vulcan in the series, this thing has the intention of making her his lunch, as opposed to a bride. Along the way, you're likely to see a ton of over-the-top CGI (in a bad way) of how decrepit the area is and how bodies are decaying very fast.
Natsu will track him down because of how terrible smell, however, which he will most likely compare to the worst curry he's ever eaten. His first goal here will not be to find Macao however, but simply rescue Lucy. Arguably worse still than the typical Fairy Tail nakama speeches, Natsu will tell the Makara how Lucy is his friend with whom he has a strong bond and he won't let her die. All this despite having known her less than a day. At least in the manga, they've known each other for a long period of time, right? So, we will have a quick over-the-top fight and Natsu and the Makara will show off their poorly-choreographed Bollywood stunts, and forget about Lucy in the process.
During this point, Lucy will be watching the fight and thinking about how (and wondering why) Natsu cares for her. She will have some glimmer of light in her eyes before she is suddenly shifted into a random place (movie magic, not plot-wise) to do her own song-and-dance number about how she was wrong about men being assholes, even though up to this point, she showed no signs of hating men. She'll likely wear this outfit for the song, if you want to see, though this isn't what she's wearing while being captive:
So meanwhile, Natsu has delivered the finishing blow to the Makara, and as in the series, the creature reverts back into Macao. Granted, this isn't an ability of the mythical Makara, but even in India, most people don't know what the hell it is, so this is passable enough for a movie plot. Anyways, cue the original dialogue of the series, but with poor over-acting and you've pretty much got this down.
I'm sure most of you noticed that the battle was short as balls, Lucy did nothing, and Natsu didn't even have to put in as much effort as he did in the manga. Consider this part of the Bollywood tendency to glorify violence without actually going into detail about it.
The fight scenes in the movies even today are so over the top that the makers of the Rocky movies would blush, especially at how people get hurt even despite not being visibly hit. Well, they take Macao back home, and along the way, we go through the whole "Romeo got bullied" stuff, but with a ton of extra scenes cause apparently it wasn't sad enough already. We'll see him getting pushed in the mud, having his stuff taken from him, his teachers ignoring him, and anything else that can make the sappy part of the audience feel bad for him, cause apparently the filmmakers didn't think we already felt bad.
The reunion and goodbye is all the same, but here is where we are going to differ from the manga series, in that while walking together, Gray will appear as he did in the anime end of the DAYBREAK arc. Here, he'll warn Natsu that she has returned and urges him to return to the guild as fast as possible. We will now meet Erza Scarlet people. This version is (at first) a girl who likes to dress skimpy and will chew out anyone who tries anything with her, including openly disagreeing with her. So basically, she will have more tension with certain people like Laxus (if he appeared), whom she can't be quite so forceful with. Her good relations remain the same, so basically (seemingly) only Mirajane and the master at first and she's neutral with everyone else unless they cross her. Though she doesn't mind them staring.
Arriving at the guild, Natsu sees Erza. Unlike the first time we saw her in the series, nobody is actually afraid of Erza despite her aforementioned tendency, as such only appears in certain cases. She's mostly a quiet one on matters unrelated to work. She's here cause she has work and needs Natsu for it. Seeing Lucy, she will actually think down of her unlike what happened in the series. She won't show it, but we the audience will know. However, Natsu will convince her to let Lucy come and she'll relent. Gray is joining too and so the four set out for the next sequel:
Will it get made? Only the box office receipts will tell. However, if this plot is anything to go by, the filmmakers had better not hold their breath.
So, I hope you guys enjoyed this little article I put together. I admit, I actually did watch some Bollywood movies and music videos to get more of an idea and find a pattern or two. It was a weird ass ride to be honest, and not one I want to take again in the near future. Though I do have to be fair and admit.....it did get kinda
Hello everyone! So... I got some not-so-nice news this month :( Due to my scanner being all messed up, I was immediately under the impression that there would be no Umneilicious this month, but seeing as how I recently was able to fix my scanner, that did not give me enough time to draw up a comic for this month. So, unfortunately, there isn't anything for the month of November. Instead, I'll just refer you guys to some great artists I catch around on devArt that may not be so reknown~
This only leaves me wanting to make December extra-extravagant! If you guys have any ideas that may look great in comic-form, feel free to comment below~ Any inspiration or ideas are super valuable! So yeah, I hope you guys enjoy the rest of the magazine! See you next month!
Here, you guys can check out some of the deviantArtists that I enjoy following. Their Fairy Tail art and etc. is awesomeness! This may seem alot like our Fairy Art column. However, these are artists that I personally follow and whos artwork I admire, so in a way, it is relevant to Umneilicious since I also have a particular artstyle that... well, can't hold a candle to the artists below hehe
What do think you should do to get people to stop calling you lazy outside of banning, blocking, removal of privilege, refusal to acknowledge the love/hate message/mail/letter, and/or pretending to be ignoring them?
Dear Concerned Creator,
Since you have denied me all of the logical methods of getting people to stop calling me lazy (fear, intimidation, and punishment), trying to think of a way to reply to your question was incredibly difficult. After weeks of consideration, however, I've come up with the perfect response. If I want to get people to stop calling me lazy, then I must... stop being lazy. >:D It's genius, right?
Hopeless Silly Skirt-Chaser
There is this genderless being defying my irresistible charms and sure-kill pick-up lines .. .. so my question is, .. what color suit should I wear in my wedding with that woman?
Dear Hopeless Silly Skirt-Chaser,
I think you should be more worried about actually getting this person to agree to marry you instead of worrying about the color of the suit you are going to wear at your wedding... which will probably never happen. >_> But, since you asked, I think the best suit to wear to a wedding is your birthday suit! There's no better way to entertain your guests than to show up completely naked. :D
Hopeless Silly Skirt-Chaser
There is this shitty, evil and ungrateful little brother of mine with admin rights .. .. he is charged of being an illegal mexican .. are the charges true or false?
Dear Hopeless Silly Skirt-Chaser,
There are currently two Mexicans with admin rights, and I'd bet my left testicle that neither of them are legal. >:D
There is a man forcing me to write you a letter because he is an asshole and wants people to write to him even though I'm busy and only had 13% of battery left in my laptop. What should I do?
-Sincerely, the Tyrant.
If I were you, I'd shut my mouth and write the damn letter before I had my admin rights snatched away by that "asshole." ಠ_ಠ
Excuse my other letter, that was my evil self the Tyrant. He usually takes possession of my body and starts messing with my life. I've woken up to 6 dead bodies over the last 5 years that I've had to clean up. Don't tell anyone though. What can I do get rid of him? Is exorcism ok?
PS: I plugged my charger in. I'll survive.
-Sincerely, the good Tyrant.
Dear Good Tyrant,
Before I say anything else, I just wanted you to know your name is an oxymoron. >_> And I believe that you woke up to those dead bodies because you were repressing the darkness within you. I think you should embrace it and channel it to doing something good for the world. You know, like murdering Justin Bieber.
I'm sorry to disturb you a third time but this is kind of important. Like I said on my previous letters, evil Tyrant has dumped bodies on me to clean up after him several times now. Thing is that the last guy he murdered was a friend of mine and his Australian girlfriend is on to me. She doesn't have proof yet but she keeps snooping around and it is only a matter of time until she finds something she can use to incriminate me. I've been awake for 4 days straight now because I'm scared that if I go to sleep evil Tyrant will take control of me again and eliminate her, but, you see, I think I want him to. Is that wrong? Should I let evil tyrant do the deed?
PS: The Fappening.
-Sincerely, the good Tyrant.
Dear Good Tyrant,
Your alter ego seems to have forgotten the most important rule of being a serial killer - don't get caught. With that being said, if this Australian woman valued her life, she wouldn't be snooping around. I hate to say it, but I agree with your psycho side, you need to get her before she gets you. No one is going to be too upset about an Australian dying anyway, I hear they're all a bunch of kangaroo riding weirdos. >_>
This is the other Tyrant's self, the one he calls "evil" Tyrant. But that's not true Jakky. I'm just being misunderstood. *:( sad You see, all those people I've had to kill were bad people. They were in the way of our true goal, our purpose of existence. The other me wanted them gone. I know he did. I could tell that he really wanted it deep in his heart. He was just too weak. Too a coward to do what had to be done. I was forced then to step up. I had to protect us. I had to. And I don't feel remorse. I don't feel guilt even though one of the ones I had to kill was one of my mega best friends. My only regret is that I didn't let my other self do them himself. So Jakky, how can I ask my other self to help me kill the Australian?
PS: Australian's name starts with an S.
-Sincerely, the "evil" Tyrant.
Dear "Evil" Tyrant,
Before I say anything else, I recommend that you and the other you see a shrink. It's not in my nature to talk bad about anyone, but believe me when I say that you two are about as cray cray as cray cray can get. As far as that Australian goes, you don't need to worry. I told the other you to kill her. I know its a necessary evil. ಠ◡ಠ See? You aren't misunderstood. I understand you perfectly.

Man Who Can't Be Moved
I have been wanting to reach the remote that fell under my bed. However, under certain conditions, I have to remain in my bed. Help me! - The man who can't be moved
Dear Man Who Can't Be Moved,
I'm going to go out on a limb and assume you're overweight as well? Well, I have good news! There's a Twinkie under your bed near the remote! While you're under there searching for that Twinkie, do yourself a favor and grab that remote.
Jabba The Hut
Any diet tips? I want to become slimmer and gorgeous. - Jabba the Hut
There isn't a diet in the world that could help you out. My advice? Liposuction. And if you can't afford that, then go to the nearest store, pick up some Tylenol, a meat cleaver, and a vacuum and have at it! >:D
Thanks a lot to everyone who sent in questions! If you have a problem you need help with, email Jakky at firstname.lastname@example.org. It'll (probably) be back next month and featured in our extra-special Christmas issue of the Sorcerer Magazine! Look forward to it! ^___^
Hello, everyone! Last month I featured Natsu and I created a poll to ask you guys' opinion on who I chose to portray him (Luke Mitchell). I posted the results of that poll below. I mixed "Good" and "Fantastic" into one category (Good). Similarly, I mixed "Bad" and "Kill Yourself" into one category (Bad). 26% of you thought it was a good choice. 48% of you thought it was okay. And 26% of you thought it was bad. To the 26% of you who didn't like the choice... go fuck yourself. ಠ_ಠ
The person I picked to portray Lucy is an actress named Hayden Panettiere. I don't think she's a perfect fit for Lucy, but I do think she's a really good choice for a few reasons. Firstly, and most importantly for me, she looks similar to Lucy: blonde, nice size breasts, and incredibly hot. Secondly, she was on a show called "Heroes" and on that show she had supernatural abilities, so she would already be accustomed to Fairy Tail's supernatural nature. Also, she's only 25 and I do realize that Lucy's much younger than her, but when you consider the fact that most people playing teenagers in Hollywood are 30+, I don't think 25 is too shabby. >_> As I mentioned earlier, I think she's a great fit, but there are some minuscule issues. Her voice can be slightly nasally at times, but that's not that big of an issue. Also her breasts, while large, aren't near as large as Lucy's, but Mashima tends to overdue it with his female characters' boob sizes (not that I'm complaining) so I don't think that's much of an issue either. So, what do you guys think? Is she a good match for Lucy? Do you know an actress who'd fit Lucy better? Tell me in the comments! >:D
I cannot describe how much I love this particular piece. Everything about is just so... perfect. The color choices, Levy's general look and demeanor, it's all phenomenal... and kinda creepy. To me, she looks like something that jumped out of the Twilight Series. And no, I don't mean that as an insult, lol. Oh yeah, and shout out to Nick who put me on to this piece. Anyhow, I give this piece a 10/10 and I highly recommend you guys check out more from this artist.
I know Thanksgiving has passed, but what are you thankful for?
A: I'm thankful that I don't have to be summoned by that insufferable blonde anymore.
If you could have one wish, what would it be?
A: For my dearest Scorpio to finally propose to me!!
Scorpio: I have... you rejected me all five times.
Aquarius: And I'm going to keep rejecting you until you get me a bigger ring my love. ^__^
BOO!!! Did I scare you?
A: Do I look like some weak, easily frightened blonde to you?
Aquarius: Relax. I was talking about your mother.
Everyone: O_O... RUN AWAY!!!!
What's going to happen to you now that Face is activated?
A: Fire and brimstone will rain down across the Earth, Blood will boil, children will be ripped away from their mothers, and death will be rampant all over the land... Earth Land that is. That shit won't affect us in the Spirit World at all. ^__^
Interviewer: So cruel. (>__<)
What's your greatest talent?
A: I can make some pretty good fried fish.
Interviewer: O__O I-I-Isn't that like cannibalism?
Aquarius: Are you saying I'm a fucking fish?!
Interviewer: No, not a fish exactly... more like fish adjacent.
Aquarius: *grabs urn and floods the interview room* DIE!!!

GO HERE AND VOTE
Don't worry. Next month we'll do more characters :3
I thought you guys would get that there needs to be a balance in the amount of characters in each of the 4 classes, but you guys just put everyone under fighter or wizard so that's no fun >_>
So up to now the Tartarus arc parts have consisted of 7 or 8 chapters, with exception to Part 5 that had 10. We are already 7 chapters into Part 6: Magna Carta and we still don't have a clear definition to what Magna Carta is. Thoughts?
So the anime filler arc has been sucking really bad so far. Are you still watching?
COUNTDOWN IS FINALLY 00:00, again, WHAT NOW?!!
