...*sees you all come in* Heeeey!! What's u- *sees you all leave* -p? ( _ _) Yeah, I thought as much... We had a much more eventful month this month, though I think it is due to two things: the fact that Mashima published so many chapters and the fact that because we are in a new arc a whole bunch of new characters/places/Magic/things are appearing. Am I one to complain about this? Hell no! I wish we got 3 chapters every week ;D We shall have a game this month, but it's a different game to the other one I set up. Basically, I'm going to ask a question, and the answer will be hidden somewhere in the tech updates below. I'm not going to make it easy, so if you have a boring day and feel like wasting some time give it a shot ;D This month's question: "Who is the laziest user on the Fairy Tail Wiki?" Have fun \( ^__^)/
(Lisanna Strauss) to (Natsu Dragneel) "When we grow up... Can I be your wife?"
So, seeing as I'm missing something like 15 chapters, I guess I'll be giving you guys my opinion on the recent developments, focusing on what I thought was most interesting, and leaving out the rest. Alright, let's start off with the end of the Grand Magic Games arc, which degenerated into a draconic confrontation due to the ambition of a cunning, disenchanted Dragon Slayer from a dark future. Uninteresting. The whole thing might have made sense, if handled in a better way, but Future Rogue went down just soooooo fast... Atlas Flame being Igneel's friend and thus helping Natsu out was something, but definitely nothing too special. Something I did appreciate about the final part of this debatable, irritating, flashy, pretentious arc was the way Ultear saved the situation with her Last Ages spell, what such spell prevented and, most importantly, the consequences she had to pay. Initially, I couldn't believe it. Mashima would renounce one of the series' most prominent bouncy racks and springy asses, making them droopy and wrinkled? MASHIMA? He'd seriously let go of this and this (she's wet) and this not to mention this and this
Jokes aside, I really liked the way the whole Ultear matter was handled. One of the most touching moments in the series, in my humble opinion. The way only Gray, Ur's apprentice, realized what was hidden behind the wrinkled mask of stolen time, and the way he compared mother to daughter, was simply majestic.
Last good thing about the whole matter (I started off by saying the arc was uninteresting, and yet I keep mentioning stuff positively... Fuck) is the way the Dragon Slayers realized, in the end, how powerless they were before the big reptiles themselves. On to other stuff... "Obra" being Zeref's minion was something I didn't expect, and the whole Zeref-Mavis apocalyptic matter was... Well, apocalyptic. Is Mashima trying to end Fairy Tail no matter what? First Dragons, then Zeref... It looks like he's putting the whole series through an ordeal. Whatever. So, on to something else... What looks like the new arc starts out with a perv bath scene. Anything new? Natsu and Gray go on missions together and argue. Anything new? Walrod Cken, a Wizard Saint and the 4th God of Ishgar, asks Natsu and Gray to go on a Job for him. Anything n... WAIT, WHAT?! That's right, the new arc starts with a heavy fellow like one of Earth Land's top Mages asking the main characters (yeah, since Lucy & Co are inalienable in such cases) to handle a mission. It's like going back to the series' real essence, but on a higher league. I'm kind of liking this. Anyhow, I'm pretty sure Walrod is the only one thinking the title of Wizard Saint is a mere formality. Pretty sure the other three Gods will be full of themselves like hell. And oh, right. Green Magic, a Magic which controls the nature? Amazing, for real! It's most definitely something new to the series! I didn't expect one of the Gods being a former member of Fairy Tail, and definitely not one of the founding ones. And who's that Sting look-alike by Hades' side? Still, this new setup seems interesting. Forests to stop desertification, a village of giants and a legendary flame frozen... Damn, this is One Piece-ish. And definitely not ignorant as Mashima's usual plots. I also have to admit the Treasure Hunter Guild is a breath of fresh air. It'd been too long since we'd seen a non-magical organization. The fact that they can go toe-to-toe with the heroes just by using weapons is nice... Man, there's even a sniper rifle! What more can I ask for? I kind of like how the current saga is bringing back the initial setup on Galuna Island. The ice and Moon Drip assure us Mashima hasn't forgotten what he's written up 'till now. Guess it's something heartening. I'm currently in love with Lala's weapon. I find it freaking awesome that something born as a hammer can be manipulated in such a versatile way. I'm betting the tool doesn't just serve as a weapon, but also as something meant to handle the Treasures the three fellows are always after. Will we get to see him carrying the Eternal Flame around like a torch? And, damn. Minerva. Never been a fan of her, but I must say the way she was re-introduced, while nothing too special or surprising, was indeed pretty good. If Minerva was to pop up in a Dark Guild, my money would have been on Tartaros. Since that ain't the case, I'm wondering whether this Succubus Eye thing is affiliated with the real deal, and the "Lady" is trying to gain her entrance in Tartaros. Her partner, on the other side, is somewhat unaware of what happens "on the surface". Is that supposed to be a reference to Dark Guilds being the "underworld", or do these guys really live in an empire of evil, anthopomorphous moles? We'll see. On a side note, Minerva's new outfit is cool and evil in its sheer simplicity and lack of originality. She reminds me of someone... and I can't say I dislike it. The Moon Drip not being enough to achieve anything (nor the Hunters' nor the Mages' wishes) was a pretty simple but pretty nice twist. And, back to the "love for weapons" section... The Chain Blade. Oh, the Chain Blade. Thanks Mashima. In the end, it turns out the whole child thing happens thanks to the Magic of Minerva's Dark Mage partner. Didn't expect a hefty fellow like him to use that kind of spells... Guess that's something to be pleasantly surprised about, too. I'm pretty much rooting (not unlike many people on the Wiki) for a scenario where Lucy and Wendy (or maybe, who knows, only the Exceeds... Wouldn't be the first time) have to protect the others. Maybe with the Sylph Labyrinth members' help. Now, I'm gonna do something special to end this rather straight issue: I'm gonna "review" (like I "reviewed" the previous chapters... Lacking time, lacking ideas, people) the last omake, Fairies' Penalty Game. As before, I'll be focusing on the most interesting aspects. Lightning-Fast Food Delivery
Wet Dreams
And, seriously... Juvia's water is supposed to be made of body (that's how the sentence came out when I wrote it down, and I decided to leave it as it is because recently I'm having quite a remarkable amount of these Freudian slips...), but I hardly think I'd drink something coming down from her armpit. Volaaaare...
Musical Genius
Servitude...
Seriously, sometimes I think Mashima is sure he's writing some hentai, and not a shōnen. This dominatrix thing was weird even in a manga which has boobs for foundations and whose builders mixed cement using female asses as mixers. And still... I frickin' enjoyed it. You guys know me (and likely disagree with it): I can't stand Erza, and I've always cheered for Mirajane in their ethernal rivalry. I longed for Satan to give the armored "Mage" a lesson she wouldn't forget. And still, Erza's been bossy and acting like she was the chief for the entire series. Folks, she frickin' deserved it. Her face prior to the weird "treatment" was priceless... Not to mention Mirajane's usual look and her joined hands during the whole thing. The only thing missing is a larger audience: it would have been great if Ichiya, Jura, Minerva, Kagura, the always-so-author-raped Bacchus and Jellal were present. Thinking about it, the entire cast might have passed by to enjoy the show. Jellal would probably have ended up with an erection. You know I usually bear Mira's Nakama Crap speechees better than other characters' (e.g. Natsu and Erza)... But I don't think I've ever liked her so much as I'm doing now. "Bows" Thanks, Mira-san. Oh, right, another good thing about the whole "punishment"...
Young Hearts So, during the course of this omake we went from this
and this
to this
And all thanks to
(In case you were wondering, yes, I'm starting to like this comparation thing) I admit that, when I saw the priest after Cana stated she was readying Wendy for a "dirty old man", I kind of thought Mashima wanted to go for the usual "pedophile priest" stereotype... Which would have been a bit too much even for Fairy Tail. Now, seriously speaking... Cana's "punishment" was one of my favourite moments in the series. It gave new traits to a character I love (she's experienced povery. She's more than a drunkard), pulled out important topics which'd been neglected so far (the generation thing is something One Piece is about from... Well, from generations), and, dammit, was so frickin' cute. Did you see all those children? I tend to be a child-hater when it comes to manga, but this time... Hell, those orphans were one of the most heartwarming sights in Fairy Tail. There was even a girl looking like a doll (Wendy's left side, beady eyes)... Damn, how can you help but to love the whole thing?! "Realizes he's letting out his feelings and soft side before the Wikia community" "Takes on a harsh tone" You guys' best jobs are hand and blow. "Leaves" See you next month, dear readers. Goodnight.
Well, to the pool is exactly how the 5th (and very highly awaited due to it's content) Fairy Tail OVA begins. We head back to the third night of the Grand Magic Games to Fairy Tail celebrating in a bar and Levy informing the group about Ryuzetsu Land, some kind of reaaally popular water theme park that no-one had heard of ever mentioned before this point in the story ( .__.) Well, Mashima had to slip his fanservice in somehow... so some sort of mystical water park/bath house/onsen/lake/place where woman can get half/fully naked had to appear at some point. But that's enough about Mashima, let's get into this. <insert the rather bland and poorly animated OVA opening here> So, here we are! Ryuzetsu Land! Only five seconds in the joint and Natsu manages to jump onto some sort of water train and get motion sick >__> Fucking genius that one is... As he tries to not throw up in the pool (Ewwww DX) Juvia is being... well... Juvia... and is stalking Gray from the shadows, her butt and boobs defying all possible laws of physics as she tries to get him to look at her. But wait! Gray has turned around...!!! ... ... ...and pointed out that Juvia has left the price tag on her bikini >__> Damn oblivious idiot... Hold the phone though... Juvia paid $200 (Jewel to $ rates) for that swimsuit? o__O Why would anyone pay so much for something like that? Heck, Lucy bought Plue for the same price... As Gray heads off naked to annoy some other people, Levy and Gajeel (KAWAII~!!!) head for the aquarium with the nekos and Cana shows up... in underwear. Seriously Mashima? Underwear? She already wears a bathing suit 24/7... ( .__.) Luckily we cut from Cana though to Elfman and Evergreen (NOTASKAWAIIBUTSTILLKAWAIII~!!!) who have snuck out of the GMG sick bay and away from Porlywtfname to be together <3 Awwww... isn't that sweet? Well :/ Not really cause all the two ever do is argue... but we got to see Freed and Bickslow being awesome and spying on them, so I guess it's worth it ;D Also great is the fact that Lyon shows up to try and get Juvia to go on the Love Love Slider (lolnameXD) with him instead of Gray. Hooray! My favourite love-triangle is back in business :3 At the same time, Gajeel and Levy have arrived at the aquarium and are looking around. Though this is filler material, I have to say this whole section of the OVA with Gajeel and Levy and Happy etc. was actually done very nicely. I do have to question one of Pantherlily's lines though. I think it's just my subs (thanks Miskos for the download link by the way ;D) but Lily says "Is this what they mean when they say hunger triumphs sex appeal?" ... ... Whaaaaaat? XP Sure Lily... sure. That old 'sex appeal under food' saying ;D Lily's badly translated lines aside, the workers at the aquarium are short staff and need some people to help feed the fish. Wanting to feed himself instead, Happy of course signs everyone up to assist with some hilarious dialogue XP (Note: All you Levy fans skip to 6:58 to see her pick her bikini wedgie ;D) Outside the aquarium, Wendy is found by Chelia, and the two run off to play. We need more fillers at this point, so a little scene with Risley, Jenny, Aquarius and Virgo occurs which is neither that enjoyable nor that memorable. The only part I'm sure many of you do remember was Erza standing there with her arms crossed and her boobs perched on them like they're some display shelf >__> Speaking of boobs though, Jak may have gone into a fanboy spree over the next scene where Mira gets her bikini top pulled off it it had actually been animated nicely enough to do the manga justice. Alas, no >__> however Risley patting an embarrassed Romeo made me laugh :) Back to the nekos and for some reason Gajeel, Levy and the group are managing to feed the fish in their tank with no underwater breathing equipment D:< What the hell? Plus, they seem to be able to talk rather clearly for people underwater >__> *sighs* This aside though, watching the fish start to chase the Exceeds and Gajeel beat the shit out of the fish was pretty darn entertaining, but the winner of this scene was definitely that huge white fish that appeared at the end XD HAHAHAHAHAHAHA that was soooo cute and funny. MAAAAA *opens her mouth super wide* So kawaii X3 As that group struggles with the cute flabby fish, Erza and Lucy have their own problems as they are found by the Trimen. Before I go any further... can I just say that Ichiya's budgie smugglers (Aussie slang for men's bathers) scared the fuck out of me o___O I- I don't even want to remember as I type this because I'll have to run to my local supermarket and buy some more brain bleach. It was... terrible to say in the least. Ichiya's God-awful bathers aside, this scene was HILARIOUS! I loved it in the manga and they did it really well here with the Trimen jumping around and Erza telling them all off besides Ichiya. She then goes on to explain her legendary swimsuit. Turns out the animators didn't change her bikini (as many people noticed) for no reason, rather it becomes part of the filler of the episode, as Erza claims it is her legendary swimsuit that never fails her... ... ... Too bad the said swimsuit is fraying and she hasn't noticed just yet ;D Continuing through the pool, we run into Mavis and Laxus and Makarov, the two men having been forced to accompany Mavis so that she can have fun in the water :) Gosh I love Laxus here XD He's hilarious when he's pissed off, but hearing Makarov tell him to shut up and just do as the first says is even more humorous. Then Bickslow and Freed turn up (man I love it when Bickslow doesn't wear his mask) and they all begin to stretch to warm up. A... A little random there, but I'll let it slide becaaaaaaause- JELLAL HAS SHOWN UP!! XD Hoooooraaaay~!!! He's such a noob sometimes, so he's arrived still wearing Mystogan's mask so that he can- HOLY SHIT THE SCENE JUST CUT TO ICHIYA'S ASS HANGING OUT FROM SOME ROCK! ERMAHGEWD I'M BLIND!! I DON'T THINK I'LL EVER BE ABLE TO LOOK AT THE WORLD PROPERLY AGAIN DX He finally gets that fat ass of his out of the rock Erza kicked him into and finds Natsu. Natsu is obviously hungry, and Ichiya begins going on about appetites, but whilst they talk all we get are a bunch of breasts and butts from the female swimmers at the pool, so I have a feeling the animators were trying to hint at a different type of appetite :/ Speaking of appetites though (specifically Rem's) the scene cuts to Chelia and Wendy... squealing and... playing... on a banana ( -__-) ...I think Rem's gone into cardiac arrest at this point from the sexual connotations alone... Speaking of sexual innuendos and stuff, I have to question Carla and Happy's next lines when they appear: Wendy: What's wrong Carla? ( .__.) Yeeeeees.... ... *shakes her head* Okay... let's move on... To a few cute scenes with Laki, Kinana (pressing her breasts as hard as she can into the ground >__>) and the Trimen, as well as Cana hanging out with Quatro. Am... Am I the only one that likes the idea of Bacchus and Cana? ;D Then there's some boring little convo between Natsu and Ichiya that I don't really care for... though... did Natsu fart at the end of Ichiya's little speech? I'm not really sure what happened there ("^__^)~ However, men prepare your tissue boxes because Flare has arrived to sexually assault Lucy!! And I mean for real this time... for the first time in FT OVA history the ANIME.... that's right the ANIME, has gone waaaay father than necessary and shown Flare tearing off Lucy's bikini and giving her some sort of freaky hair nipple torture o__O That's right, you didn't hear incorrectly: hair nipple torture. ...and we all thought this chapter was over-the-top to begin with... right?? However, it turns out Flare just wants to apologize for what she did in the Games. Secretly disappointed? I'm sure you are >:) The disappointment disappears though with this next turn of events, which, both filler and canon material just... well I finished watching this a little more disturbed than I was when I started. Of course Ichiya is the cause of the fuss. He and Natsu decide it'll be a FANTASTIC idea to run around the theme park... because... well... why the fuck not?? Of course, just as Alzack predicts, Ichiya slips and Natsu goes flying when the fat man crashes into him. However. However. How the fuck ever. Ichiya then goes tumbling straight towards Erza in the pool nearby, and Jellal, determine to save her from needing psychological therapy for the next 20 years of her life, tackles her down as Ichiya goes flying over top of them, crashes into the wall and... ( .__.) l-l-loses his bathers... (Note: If you were not disturbed by the OVA yet, you should be now) BUT BUT BUT! Is Erza okay. FUCK YEAH >:) She's more than okay, because in the process of saving her life and her sanity, Jellal accidentally(?)(hehehe) managed to grope the large chest of his beloved. The two quickly jump away from each other and Jellal apologizes, but to Ichiya's shock horror Erza tells him that it's okay... It's okay... IT'S OKAY... JELLALERZA TRIUMPHS!! *stands on her chair in an epic pose* THIS MOMENT SHALL FOREVER BE FORGED INTO THE BRAINS OF JELLALERZA FANGIRL AND GUYS AS A MOMENT OF TRUE JELLALERZANESS. CAN HE TOUCH HER BREASTS? OF COURSE HE CAN! >:D HE IS THE ONLY MAN WHO CAN DO SO AND STILL KEEP HIS LIFE! THEY WILL FOREVER- Leli: Carry!! Carrot: Ahhhh ^__^" ...Okay ( .__.) So where was I? Ah, yes, Natsu also flies into Erza, and gets a similar treatment to Ichiya earlier when Erza boots him into the air. This in turn sends the Dragon Slayer flying towards the Love Love Slider where, you guessed it, our favourite love-triangle are arguing over who gets to go (or not go in Gray's case) down with Juvia. As they fight, Natsu crashes straight into Gray and Lyon, sending the two sliding down together and giving us a preview of what FT would be like if it was a boys love anime. Let's just pause for a second. I'd like to point out just how ridiculously long the Love Love Slider is. I mean, just how long were Gray and Lyon on this thing? Heck, I'd willing go on with a friend if it meant getting to ride that thing. It looks as fun as fuck :D Speaking of fun things, we enter some more filler as the anime team decide to use Natsu (and some physics-defying display sign) to get all of out beloved ships onto the slide together - plus some others just for the lols. First to get the treatment are Lily and Carla. Yep, you heard me... Lily and Carla. Firstly, and most obviously, I have to point out the position they are sliding in... ( .__.) Ummm... Ah fuck it, I have no words to say what I'm thinking right now... Of course Happy becomes distraught seeing Lily with Carla and his dialogue that follows for the rest of the episode is hilarious due to this ;D Next of course is Gajeel and Levy ;D They're cute, especially Levy as she starts to squeal and then slows down as she realises that she actually kind of likes the situation she's stuck in XD JELLAL AND ERZA ARE NEXT! (I seriously don't get how these guys are all being swept up and miraculously land on the slide, but whatever *shrugs*) They're so adorable together X3 Jellal's blush is so kawaii and Erza of course is being Erza... trying to find out what to do but not really doing anything ;D Somehow Lucy and Juvia also end up going down together, but Juvia constantly being her creep-self and calling Lucy her love rival cracks me up so much that I'm just going to let it go XD XD XD XD And to finish us up on this slide of shippings, Elfman and Evergreen appear as well. I feel really bad for Elfman. He's a fairly nice guy, but because Evergreen is an idiot for first of all going on the slide with him and then realising that she doesn't want anyone to see them, he gets turned to stone >__> Lovely. Evergreen, good girlfriend material right there... Back to Erza and Jellal and both of the star-crossed lovers suddenly realise that Erza's amazing bikini is fraying... ... ... Yeeeees! Okay, in all honesty, I don't really know what to make of this little clip. I don't see how Erza's bikini can fray like that (it makes no sense, I mean, what is it caught on/like the thread doesn't just snap/like the entire bikini is just one big strand of thread) and to be honest both Jellal and Erza's reactions are OOC (out of character, for those who don't read enough fanfiction). I think their reactions should have been closer to what they were before with the boob groping incident: shy embarrassment. *shrugs* I don't write these OVA extra scenes though, so whoever did decided to have some fun I guess, because Jellal gets a nosebleed and Erza just reacts with anger... Yeah ( .__.) I don't really get it either. A far less OOC reaction comes from Levy and Gajeel, with Levy being cute and basically starting to admit that she doesn't really feel embarrassed being stuck on the Love Love Slider whilst Gajeel just gets motion sickness XD Back to the boy love and Gray and Lyon begin to get so pissy at each other that they decide to use their Magic. At the other end of the pool Laxus is trying to get Mavis out of the water because she's cold (despite being a ghost?) and suddenly notices that shit is happening at the slide. Points for Laxus here: wouldn't he make such a great father? :3 Tehehehe Well the whole resort freezes over and Natsu is finally freed from his motion sickness prison. Of course, being Natsu, he has the fucking brilliant idea that a butt-load of his OP Dragon Slayer Magic will save the day, and springs into action with a fire fist to the floor despite Lucy's warnings that he not do anything. Meanwhile, on the other side of Crocus, Sting and Lector see the explosion caused by the idiot DS and wonder what it is. Unfortunately the animation studio is either too poor or too lazy to get their voice actors in, because they get no lines >__> Greeeat </sarcasm> Finally, just before the credits roll, Natsu stands in the middle of the mess he has caused, as usual laughing it up as the others all lie semi-conscious (and pretty much naked) all around him. <insert end credits here that aren't really that interesting either :/> In the last few minutes of the OVA, we get Laxus being awesome yet again and dragging a good and beaten Natsu and Gray to be punished further as Makarov and Mavis cry over the fact that they have to pay the repair bill ;D So, was this any good? Damn straight it was. The parts included that came from the manga were well done. Of course the manga was still better (the animation of FT has always been rather poor so I doubt the anime will ever top the manga) but the anime did a darn good job. The added bits were nice, so all in all I'd recommend it to those who liked the chapter and want a good laugh ;D Though, if you're looking for a good anime about hot guys at the pool, don't waste your time here... just watch Free!
Carrot: *sighs and puts her pen and notepad down* I think that'll do nicely :3
Welcome to another issue of The Earth Land Chronicles. This article will a relatively sarcastic overview of things in the Fairy Tail series, which will Welcome to the newest edition of The Earthland Chronicles where we're going to go through the various arcs of Fairy Tail in comedic style! This month, we're continuing with the Tenrou Island arc! Picking up where we left off, Grimoire Heart has invaded Tenrou Island, Ultear has encountered an angry Zeref and the Mages of Fairy Tail are in arduous battles against the powerful Dark Mages. In a stunning upset, Ultear has defeated Zeref since he was apparently sleeping (note: he was not napping) and unable to use his real power. Over with Natsu and Makarov, Wendy works to heal them but finds Natsu's dirty scarf blocking her. Yeah, that Zeref really soiled it =/ The first of the inter-guild fights are Elfman and Evergreen fighting against
Elsewhere on the island, Gray, Cana, Lucy and Loke are currently getting their asses kicked by Caprico. As it turns out, the dude is using Human Subordination Magic, which temporarily weakens humans. As it turns out, he's also the Celestial Spirit Capricorn (which we all saw coming). Therefore, it's gonna be Spirit on Spirit as Loke turns into his spirit form (complete with the shades and a classy suit) to engage Caprico while the rest escape, but not before letting everyone get away. Though this turns out to be his plan since Capricorn once belonged to Lucy's mom, who was a Mage. So with that, the berserk battle begins and ultimately ends with the revelation that Caprico is really Zoldeo fused with Capricorn before he is expelled from the body and disintegrates. And now Lucy has another Gold Key for herself while Gray loses his partner. Poor dude just can't catch a break, as we'll see later in this arc. Soon after, Cana has Lucy reveal the location of Mavis Vermilion's grave before putting her to sleep in the middle of the forest. Turns out to be a pretty bad move as Fairy Tail's fattest enemy, Kain Hikaru shows up to peep at Lucy's panties before crushing her. Luckily, she's able to wake up just in time in a lovely coincidence and fight back. Sadly, her spirits are useless so she decides to run like hell. Understandably, it doesn't work and after suffering some clothing damage so she can show some more skin for the viewers, she's saved by Natsu, who kicks Kain away just in the nick of time. As it turns out, he was fighting Ultear but now he'll team up with Lucy to fight Kain and let Ultear escape with Zeref. However, their battle isn't much better and Kain nearly wins until Natsu grabs a hold of his dolly and begins using it to make Lucy kick his ass through the increased strength. With a little help from Happy, who was actually useful here, Lucy manages to knock the fatass out.So to cut long stuff short, Cana is close to locating the grave stone, Doranbolt decides to help Fairy Tail leave the island but they refuse and Gray is stalking Ultear. Now onto more plot. In the battle of Erza and Juvia vs. the loli, even Juvia's water body can be hurt by her attacks. As it turns out, Erza's the 4th person on the list of those she wants to kill, with Gildarts as 3rd, Makarov as 2nd and Gray of all people as first. Bad move, loli. Juvia rises from the water with a look that makes even Erza afraid. As it turns out, the loli's Magic hurts Juvia's body cause it strike her sense of pain. What? Anyways, Juvia pretty much owns Meredy here and she's force to link their senses and feel each others pain. Good idea, except Juvia can still own her. This is where she gets smart and links them with Gray so that no matter who wins, Gray dies. The dude is feeling everything. Just imagine if they were orgasming. Damn...Alright, wow, that's some evil thinking right there. But unfortunately, this is not gonna end as it seems. Or maybe it does. Anyways, Juvia wins with the power of feelings and everyone cries in the end cause their feelings are being transmitted as well. Anyways, Gray is then found by Ultear, who tells him that she's Ur's daughter and an ally. Obviously, he doesn't believe this since they're after Zeref, who made Deliora but Ultear really wants him to believe her and says she's following Ur's will. Elsewhere, Lucy and co. get some clothes from Virgo and head out to take down Grimoire Heart. At the same time, Erza is running around the island in her bikini looking for Wendy, but comes across Azuma instead while at the camp where the injured are resting, Pantherlily, Lisanna and Levy are forced to fight Rustyrose. So on their way out, Natsu and co. are found by Bluenote Stinger of Grimoire Heart, who's powerful as balls, wants to know where Mavis' grave is and so he takes them down pretty easily. Meanwhile, Cana has found the grave of Mavis but when she sees the card she gave Lucy which would signify if she were in trouble, she starts to realize what an ass she was to leave her behind. So now it's time for an origin story! As it turns out, Cana's mom died when she was young and sent her to live with her dad, who turns out to be Gildarts Clive of all people. Too bad he didn't recognize the poor girl (since he didn't know anyways) and was always out on missions. Her goal was to be S-Class and tell him but as it turns out, she always failed, thus her decision to leave if she failed again, since she wouldn't be worthy of being his kid. Mavis speaks to Cana from beyond the grave and blah blah blah, gives her the power of Fairy Glitter, which she runs off with to save Lucy. Arriving, she casts the new spell she's got but sadly, finds that she's too useless to actually use it properly. But this is almost a good thing for us since, just as she's about to be killed by Bluenote, who should show up, in the most awesome of moments, to save her but Gildarts! And damn is he angry. Elsewhere on the island, the fruitcake who decided to attack the camp is currently getting his ass handed to him by Freed and Bickslow. In a way that completely redeems their actions during the Fighting Festival arc as far as I'm concerned, the two tell Rustyrose that he's about to get his ass kicked. Having returned when they saw Erza's signal flare along with Gildarts, the battles all across the island are coming to what Lucy describes as the end as we then see a boy staring out at the sea. Sadly, we didn't actually find out who he was until about 20 chapters later So in the forests of the island, Erza is currently battling Azuma of the Seven Kin. His tree Magic is pretty much taking out anything Erza can dish and even her best armors aren't helping. It's here that Azume completely uproots the Tenrou Tree and thus eliminates the protection it affords Fairy Tail Mages, thus removing their Magic. Except Erza, of course since even the most evil of villains still wants to fight the good guy (well, girl, but yeah) and so we all know what that means; time for the bandage armor. But surprisingly, even this isn't enough and Erza ends up getting flopped on her ass, apparently defeated. Far away in a jail cell, it's Carrot's boyfriend who apparently senses Erza's distress and weakly mutters her name. Don't worry dude, it's only a little while longer till the chicks come and save you. So there you have what I'm gonna consider the middle of the Tenrou Island arc. A good number of plots here and there with flaws, as one would expect. Sadly, there wasn't much to show when it comes to fanservice in these chapters here, so I'm just gonna drop what I found here and try to get away with it. Yeah, that's basically it. I think the anime gave us a bit more, but it's not on the wiki. Check out the next edition of The Earth Land Chronicles where were will be going over the rest of this long-ass arc including Erza's win, the fight against Hades and the final battle on the island against the King of Dragons: Acnologia! Till then!
