Fuck Im tired. I haven't been up this early in weeks
So Magic Council yada yada yada they are all boring and all they do is rant about how they hate fairy tail but suddenly, explosions o.O Well, I can definitely see what Mashima said about shaking up the magic world. Also, applause to Mashima for killing every single boring member of the council but leaving the one likeable guy alive. If Doranbolt died, Rai likely would have cried, and seeing a fat black man cry is not something I really look forward to. Anyway, no this is where things slightly disappointed me. We know that Doranbolt has somewhat good ties with Fairy Tail. I was fully expecting him to show up at the guild, explaining what happened and asking for help. But instead we get the usual guild shennanigans, which are alright, but in a serious chapter like this, it was somewhat off-putting seeing Elfman trying to defend Lisanna as usual or more of the usual Gruvia stuff.
Then we finally get to the serious stuff. It seems there is more than one book of Zeref. Each book contains one demon it seems. And just as things are getting good, Jet has to come in and ruin everything and inform everyone that the council is dead. Back to Doranbolt, it seems he instead went off to see Cobra for info on Tartarus. Cobra wants the other five released but fuck that, Cobra is the only interesting one in the group but you know its going to happen eventually so that all the guilds can team up against Tartarus and Yukino can run into Angel and they can be all happy they found each other again bla bla bla. Anyway, Cobra lets out the biggest shocker of the chapter, the members of Tartarus are all demon's from the books of Zeref and E.N.D is their guild master. Holy shit fuck.
So there goes all the theories about Silver being someone's dad. Does anyone else feel this is all leading up to the end of Fairy Tail? Once they defeat the most powerful demon of all, E.N.D, the only great evil they have left to face then is Zeref. I can't see FT lasting more than one arc after this. But I suppose we will see as we go.
I'm just going to say straight up that this was a very meh chapter. So everyone is getting their Bankais back, including Sui-Feng, which leads Rai to cream his pants. Though Kubo did a really great job with the roboticness of Sui-Feng's opponent, he looks really cool. Other than that though, I was honestly disappointed that Hitsugaya beat Cang Du this early on. I guess it really shows that the Stern Ritter are not much against a Bankai, which is why I believe they have to steal them. I was realy hoping to see an extended battle like the old days of Bleach, but I guess Kubo doesn't have that in him any longer. Thats about all I have to say on that. Pretty meh chapter that didn't really do much work.
Fairy Tail takes it. A great lead up to a new arc with a lot of important info and some actual deaths. Bleach was just mediocre this week while Fairy Tail was teh best its been in a while imo.
As always, comments are very welcome, so comment away.
