Oy, I am late. I have been running around, trying to get things in order as I'm going to a concert tonight and I have no time. Even Jakuwhore got his blog out before me, but fear not, for an actual good review is in bound, unlike Jakuwhore's sham he calls a blog.
I had high hopes for this chapter really. Return of the demon could have meant anything but it turned out to just be the demon's that haunt Gray, kind of lame if you ask me. Oh well, at least it wasn't Mirajane like Jakuwhore hoped. I can take joy from that. But let's see. Flare is from the Sun Village and it seems she is the only non giant from the village. She joined Raven as she didnt know how to make money. I don't know how I feel about humanizing Flare. On one hand, I can understand where she is coming from now, but on the other, Flare was amazingly creepy in the GMG. Humanizing her takes away that awesome creepiness that I really liked in her. So now its obvious she will be joining FT.
Then we get some stupid shit with Carla and Happy that no one cares about and then some stupid shit with Natsu that no one cares about. Then something semi interesting. Erza vs. Minerva and several conveniently placed speech bubbles that MDM probably wishes weren't there. So Minerva is being her usual bitch of a self that I would like to see murdered and is beating up on Erza. Erza postulates that if she defeats the guy who did this to her, she will become normal again, to which I say.... no shit. Then we move on to Gray who confronts the fishman dude and in a surprise that absolutely every one saw coming, Gray becomes a kid. OMG what a shock. So the combination of Gray being a kid now and seeing the ice makes him remember Deliora and we get flashbacks and what not and then some ass, which I approve of. Gray then finds his resolve and what not and so now he is going to fight the fishman dude, end chapter.
Not a great chapter really. Opening was pretty good, ending was decent, everything in between was kind of useless. I just hope Fishman man has some kind of magic other than making people kids otherwise he may be kind of useless in a fight.
