My blog is out before 1 pm. Rejoice \o/
Honestly there isn't a lot to say about this chapter. The giants are unfrozen and Natsu is acting like typical Natsu, riding on one of them. The big thing in the beginning of this chapter is Flare is home and happy and smiles. I am honestly not invested in Flare enough that I feel good for her and am happy that she is happy. I still like creepy Flare the most. This whole humanizing of Flare is ruining what was so great about her in the first place. She was so amazingly creepy, it was original for a character in FT. Now she is just turning into another Juvia.
The saving grace of this chapter was the end. This new chick from Tartarus is making people "stronger" which kills some people. The way she spoke, it seems as though she is not human. So its possible she is a demon, which further piques my curiosity. So now we are going to see Minerva get stronger and probably be able to take on Erza with ease, which I am honestly not looking forward to seeing as their little feud needs to end.
Now here is something interesting, Nanao is a kido master. Thats something Kubo has never revealed before. I remember all the jokes about her fighting with a book. So she developed a kido to shut down the quincy's abilities but only she can use it. At the very least, this means we are likely going to see Shunsui fighting and it should be good. Back on Hitsugaya's front. His fight is actually still kind of interesting. This is the first time this arc that anyone other than Ichigo has has a real fight that lasted multiple chapters and wasn't entirely one sided. With the guy who stole Hitsugaya's Bankai stepping in, I can only imagine he has his own ice abilities and Hitsugaya will have to deal with them and his bankai, but still, I look forward to it. The big reveal at the end of this chapter is Urahara has found a way to get everyone's Bankai back. So we know that Hitsugaya will be on the verge of defeat when he gets his bankai back in typical Kubo fashion, but nonetheless, if everyone can get their bankais back, that means they are safe to use, which means that we could see some new ones. Lets face it, who doesnt want to see new Bankais? With Shunsui facing Haschwalth, the second strongest of the sternritter, he will likely be forced to use Bankai, which makes me very excited.
No contest for me this week, Bleach takes it. Like I said, I am just not emotionally invested in Flare as I much prefer the creepy Flare. Bleach brings promises of new action and Bankais which everyone has been looking forward to for a long time. Fairy Tail only bring promises of Erza vs. Minerva again. Hopefully FT can pick up but for now. Bleach was better.
Thats all for this week. As always, comments are very welcome, so comment away.
