Okay! Continuing with my game theme, hows about we move on to Gameboy Advance SP? My SP is by far my favourite Nintendo hand-held device... Screw you DS and all your fanciness! Gimme good old fashioned 2D games any day ;D
FIRE.EMBLEM.SACRED.STONES!! Oh my gosh... I cannot begin to detail the number of hours nor the amount of fun I have had (still have) with this game. Admittedly, I did have a hard time choosing between this and Pokemon Sapphire, but when it came down to it, the graphics, character development, plot and animated clips that this game has pulled it through to my favourite. It's a strategy game... the simple kind. You have units with stats and you move in a tile format to defeat enemies who also have stats. There are classes for your characters as well as weapon grades and enemies/weapons they are good against etc. As such, the game is a lot of adding and figuring out how you can take out your enemy with the least amount of damage being received yourself. I love this, and I've spent aaages in the past calculating and coming up with strategies to finish all of the levels. The plot is AMAZING in this game, with you travelling and picking up new characters, abilities and weapons as you play, each character bringing their own story and addition to the game. Trust me, you get very attached to the characters XD Marisa and Cormag FTW!! * ^ * This is only increased by the fact that if one of your characters dies in the game, they are gone for good. No "would you like to restart this level", revives or nothing. You can get them back, but you have to turn your SP on and off without saving XD I'd like to thank my Dad in all of his aweomeness for listening to a sales guy at the game shop when he walked in and asked what an 11 year old girl would like to play on SP. You rock Dad~!
