About Me
Hi. This is Glass Heart, for those of you who can't read the info box above. I have to admit, Fairy Tail never did catch my interest until 2011 when I watched the English dub of the anime. Since then, my interest in the series has moved to the Japanese anime and the manga. Now, I've become an avid fan and Fairy Tail has gradually became one of my favorite anime/manga.
I'm also working on a novel, the first book of a planned 15-part series (it's long, yes, I know) and it's got adventure, fantasy, and sci-fi. I'd like to distribute it to publishing companies in the future and if anyone can give me information on how I can do so (because technically, I'm still a teenager) that would be awesome. Also, I don't plan on revealing spoilers about my series until it's actually published and released.
Top 5 Favorite Characters
Cobra
One of the many things that you'll know about me, and something that I may repeat in the list below, is my natural liking for anti-heroes and antagonists. Cobra is a villain during the Oración Seis arc, one of my favorite arcs, and while he didn't appear in any other arcs, he's still my favorite. Cool appearance and personality, plus an awesome form of Dragon Slayer Magic. One of the things I like about him is the fact that he's not exactly arrogant or boastful, he just keeps talking about how he can hear everyone (which I actually don't mind). I'll be looking forward to (possibly) seeing him in the future of Fairy Tail.
Laxus Dreyar
Laxus is my second-favorite in the series, next to my favorite antagonist from the Oración Seis arc, though he does occasionally top the rest. Anyway, Laxus is really cool and I like his design, plus his Magic, and his overall plotline in the story. Initially one of the most arrogant bastards here, he only acts this way because he cares about his guild. Overall, Laxus is generally a good person with a few negative qualities that have downplayed since his excommunication. I absolutely hate how, despite his strength, he always seems to lose his battles just so some pink-haired idiot can steal the spotlight, or actually win a fight but have it turn out so badly; the last one, while I did like the fact that he was, was still not very well-written. Love to see his battles in future chapters and episodes.
Erza Scarlet
In most shōnen manga, one of the main heroines is just some whiny, weak, good-for-nothing bitch who just can't shut up (like Orihime Inoue). The fact that Erza is a strong character and female protagonist contradicts that, something I like a lot. She's really strong and she has somewhat of a conflicting nature: while generally serious and often tough, she does have a soft side. Her background was very tragic (in a sense) and she's dealt with a lot. Overall, a good character. Maybe a few flaws, but I'm really lazy just to describe it all.
Cana Alberona
Cana is a strong female character like Erza, not just in power (or appearances, for some males out there) but also in general personality. While she can be serious, she's generally just a fun-loving alcoholic who's like a fortune-telling magician (let's face it, that's how people would view Cana if she was real). Her past was a little touching and it's really sad how, her own father didn't even know about her really until she was all grown-up. But enough of the sad moments, let's move on to how Cana doesn't really get to fight a lot. I wanna see her in one of those one-on-one fights that could kill either person. That would be nice to see, if you ask me.
Gajeel Redfox
Gajeel is just really cool. He's strong, and he's got a tough personality. I've also had a liking for characters that undergo a villain-turned-hero stage or vice-verse. Anti-heroes are just as good. Gajeel has a great character design and I love his Magic; not my favorite Magic, just one of the many that I like. Strong but occasionally comedic, it's a good character transition. I'd like to see how much further he develops in the story. Also, maybe we'll see how he thinks of her...
Top 5 Favorite Magic
Arc of Embodiment
This is probably the most powerful Magic that I could have ever imagined (technically, though, I didn't actually come up of this). You can create anything that you desire into reality, anything. I think it's a really clever idea and an amazing thing, if it were to be an actual ability. A lot of this Magic hasn't really been shown being used to its fullest potential so I'm not sure how to describe it, exactly. But to be honest, if I could use Arc of Embodiment like Rustyrose... well, let's just say it would make my life a lot easier workspace-wise. Maybe for miscellaneous personal usage, but whatever it is, it might help also.
Heavenly Body Magic
Basically, you manipulate the elements of space onto your body as a source of your Magic. Sounds boring, right? Well, not how I look at it. Let's take Jellal's Meteor and compare it to its real-life version. A meteor is powerful, can destroy the earth, and is generally fast to approach. Meteor is like a downplayed version of that. All things related to outer world can intrigue or fascinate me, so to see elements of such being used as Magic is definitely one that interests me. There's still some things about this Magic that has yet to be seen or informed about but it's not to the point where it can be somewhat frustrating, in my opinion.
Dark Écriture
I generally like it when rules are being followed and understood, so the nature of the Dark Écriture is naturally one of my favorite Magic. You write in runes (something I've also found fascinating) and whatever you write, the power becomes effective. You can also bend some rules, at the same time, but I wouldn't like doing that too often or anything. For me, the most useful way that I can use this Magic is by using it to write my stories. Then, when the person reads the book, they literally see a visual screen at the same time. This would be a very unique concept; maybe it doesn't necessarily fit or work with this Magic, but it can work nonetheless.
Archive
I'm generally a forgetful person so I think this Magic can be really convenient for people like me. You can store a lot of written and typed work; overall, a lot of information found in text. Then, you can get your stored data and look over them and do whatever afterwards. This is an extremely helpful thing to have for school, work, and ect. Aside from that, you can store various blueprints and data which I think can be very useful in real life, as briefly mentioned above. Truth be told, not a lot has really been shown of this Magic so I don't know a lot about it.
Take Over
Take Over is a very interesting magic. This magic has a lot of variety so I can't really say that the Magic itself is my favorite, so I guess my favorite type of Take Over magic is Beast Soul. You can transform any part of your body into that of a monster's, which I think is actually really cool. Elfman's various monster forms are unique in their own sense and detailed in description, something I also admire about the magic. One thing about Take Over that intrigues me is how Vulcans use it; while most Take Over mages (so far) transform into creatures they know the most, these Vulcans use it in a possessive form. Interesting, very interesting.
Useful Junk
I actually don't use these here...
Below is a list of things that I have stored in what's known as user pages. Generally, most of the ones I currently have include my signature and some other things like JS or CSS. For those who are interested, for whatever reason, you can take a look at the codes by clicking the following links below:

| | This song is titled Haruka.
The music, or even the band itself, has never associated themselves with the entire Fairy Tail series. But when I started reading the Fairy Tail manga last year, I would always play this song while reading the manga. Since reading the Fairy Tail manga while playing Haruka all the time, this song is always playing in my mind when I see or think of the series. It's so weird, even I'm surprised by it. |
