Shouldn't we work on the existing pages? i feel that we should stop adding pages that we have almost nothing about(Nav, Lisana) if there just going to be little paragraphsUmibouzu 18:06, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

That's half true, i'm currentley trying to put all pages in the same layout as Natsu so that the wiki is currentley the same.

However, when their all done, then we'll pretty much have to make paragraphs for other characters.

The only characters that I think shouldn't have a profile are: Miki Chickentiger, Mikuni Sin and Tono Rabbits, since they have not appeared in the manga (other then like one panel of the Fighting Festival Arc).

I'm currentley working on pictures for the synopsis sections.

I think Only the Main characters, the important guild members(Makarov, Mirajane, Elfman,Macao, Kana, Luxus, raijinshuu etc.) anyone whose page has only the info learned from guild cards(Nav, Reedus Arzack) should not get pages until there relevantUmibouzu 21:12, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

Are you sure? Almost all other Wikia's i've been to have very minor character and pages about them that are two lines.

I think all Fairy Tail members should respectivley get their own page. :/ My opinion atleast.

"Guild"? Edit

It seems more appropriate to me to get rid of the "guild" altogether and just go with "Fairy Tail". Not like they ever call it "Fairy Tail guild". Dalyup! 18:59, November 11, 2009 (UTC)

strength Edit

in that senction it is mentioned that natsu gray and the raijinshuu are as strong or stronger than s class mages.sorry but this is totally incorrect.natsu was beaten easily by gildarts and he is also definitely much weaker than luxus mystogun and erza.and of course gray is around his level so the same goes for him and for the raijinshuu.the only s class member who is at their level is juvia and i think this is only for gray cause natsu with his fire wouldnt be able to match her.but even if he could just being able to fight with one of the s class mages who is probably the weakest of them isnt enough to say that natsu and the others are as strong as the s class guys since all of them except one are stronger than natsu gray or the raijinshuu.Halaros 22:45, July 1, 2010 (UTC)

Gajeel Redfox is stronger than Juvia Loxar (based on the Phantom's ranking of power), so he should technically be considered an S-Class mage. On the whole Natsu argument, it is quite evident that he is at the level of an S-Class mage (Gildarts/Makarov are above that). Natsu defeated Jellal Fernandes (former Ten Wizard Saints), and he also defeated Zero (extremely powerful dark mage). Only an extemely powerful mage could defeat those opponents, and Natsu achieved that.

-We have no idea how someone is made an S-Class mage, we cant be sure power is the only reason, Natsu could be powerful, but that might not be what makes him an S-Class mage. Gazille and Lluvia are S-Class, so we assume they have something Natsu Gray and the Raijinshuu dont. soyou cant possibly compare them powerwise. -Umi

I'm pretty sure the reason Natsu ain't an S-Class mage is got to do with his age/recklessness; He's quite the irresponsible character (and somewhat of a comic-relief at times). If I recall correctly, the Raijinshuu were defeated by fellow Fairy Tale mages.

Erza's only 2 years older than him, Regardless of whatever we speculate, Natsu and anyone else who isnt an s-mage cant be considered a s-class in power or practically s-class. I dont remember where it said LLuvia was a S-Class mage, anyone know where they said it?

Natsu isn't a mage class, S-class mages currently are: Erza (as the strongest woman in the FT), Gildartz (the strongest member of the FT), Juvia (as a member of Element 4, as it was mentioned during the Miss Fairy Tail Contest, she was presented as a "Our new S-class mage"). Former members are: Mystogan (was Edoras) and Laxus (was expelled from the FT).

At the moment it isn't known whether the S-class mage is Gajeel, it never has been said that he isn't, but nobody said that he is. This question remains open, as long as Hiro Mashima will officially confirm or deny. That's all. Ishthak 10:47, August 28, 2010 (UTC)

Technically, Juvia's Miss FT introduction says her "strength" or "abilities" are S-class (depending on the translation), which isn't the same as saying she's officially S-class. After all, Gazille's strength/abilities are S-class too. That said, I've never seen any indication that either she or Gazille lost their S-ranks upon leaving PL and joining FT. If anything, Gazille's secret double-agent mission is almost certainly S-class (where "any mistake can mean death," or something along those lines). MechR 04:52, August 29, 2010 (UTC)

I decided to move Gazille up based on the Raven Tail mission (whose danger level Makarov even apologized for). At first I was going to move Juvia down and add a note to the S-class section, but that would leave Erza as the only "confirmed" S-class member, which is a bit hard to swallow. Lluvia is ok because its STATED that she is S-Class level, Natsu and co. were specualted to be S-class(one is said by fans, the other is outright stated in the manga by Hiro Mashima) Gazille's mission doesnt mean anything, he just seems the most likely to hate fairy tail. If you had a healing mage, would you send an S-Class mage to heal someone? NO! you send the healing mage cause they seem most likely to complete the job. and unless stated by Makarov to be an S-class mission, it's Just speculation. -Umi

As I pointed out, the Miss FT announcer did NOT say Juvia is officially S-class. Re: Raven Tail, even with Gazille's background, playing a double agent between FT and the largest independent dark guild still spells death from any mistake. Plus it's a mission important to Makarov personally. I don't see how it couldn't be considered an S-class job.

And speaking of speculation, why do people even think Juvia or Gazille might have lost their S-ranks in the first place? AFAIK there's absolutely nothing that suggests they did, and alot that suggests they didn't. MechR 08:54, August 29, 2010 (UTC)

-Whatever you feel is correct doesnt make it correct, unless we can find WHERE it says Lluvia is S-Class or s-class like, or Gazille is on an S-class mission, they ARENT. Speculation doesnt count as fact because it seems correct. All im asking for is proof that says those two things are true, otherwise their untrue, thats how wiki's work -UMI

Again, why is it assumed that they lost the rank at all? The argument that they kept the rank may only have "soft" evidence, but the argument that they lost the rank doesn't have any. I'd be okay with adding a note that they were certified by PL and it's unclear whether the rank carries over, but definitively removing them should take more burden of proof. Simple, regardless of lack of proof, its better to keep it out of the s-class section unless either of them or s-class becuase its still speculation. It's Innocent Until Proven guilty here, so if there's nothing say they are S-class, then they arent -Umi

But they were already S-class before joining FT. "Innocent until proven guilty" is exactly why we shouldn't be punishing them with a demotion when all the soft evidence points the other way. MechR 01:54, August 30, 2010 (UTC)

But assuming they still are when no one said "They retained their ranks" would worse, nothing says they retained their ranks. Fairy Tail might have different standards then Phantom Lord, and thus cant be considered transferred over, Its still speculating things, unless ANYTHING related to Gazille and Lluvia and S-class mages is found, they cannot be considered S-Class.

Everything you say is based on assumptions, as plausible as it might be, unless it's said, they arent S-Class -Umi

Chapter 47, when Erza describes PL's battle strength compared to FT's; And chapter 59, when Gazille captures Lucy, and Master Jose says "as expected from the strongest man in my entire guild." MechR 22:40, September 3, 2010 (UTC)

Seems like there's a lot of debate between whether or not Juvia is a S-Class Mage in Fairy Tail Guild... I'll clarify. In the japanese version, Max's introduction for Juvia is '新加入ながらろの実力はS級'. This roughly translates to 'Joining with capability of S-Class.' I also checked with the official Chinese version of Fairy Tail. This time, Max's introduction is '雖然才剛入會，不過實力卻是S級', which translates to 'Although she just joined the guild, she has the strength of an S-Class.' Clearly, neither of the version states that she is a S-Class Mage in Fairy Tail. I believe the part where the whole 'Juvia is a S-Class Mage' came from a mistranslation from the online scans. If you guys need any more concrete evidence, then please wait until Del ray releases Volume 13, which is about 5 month from now. ChaosKnight 06:06, September 5, 2010 (UTC)

Do we have anything to suggest they'd somehow lose their ranking from Phantom? S-class seems to be a measure of strength accepted across Guild lines, lacking anything saying otherwise I don't think we should assume S-class mages lose that status when they change guilds. S-Class mages Edit

Editted the article since Juvia and Gajeel are confirmed NOT to be S-Class in Fairy Tail. The only S-Class mages in FT are currently Gildartz, Erza and (possibly, currently inactive as such) Mirajane.

Should we keep Gazille off the S-Class powered mage list, i understand all the other guys on there, its directly stated in the latest chapter any of them can be S-Class, so its allowed. Gazille, on the hand, did not make the cut, Erza said it was to early for him, so should we add a citation that says he cant be trusted? or eliminate him all together?

He's still got the strength for it and was S-class at Phantom, he's just not being considered for Fairy Tail's S-class for unknown reasons.ZeroSD 04:41, September 20, 2010 (UTC)

But does it transfer over, it appears not, since, well Lluvia has to take the trial too. So he doesnt count as he is both: Not an Official S-Class Mage, nor a canditdate for being an S-Class Mage -UMI

Magic Edit

A challenge for you guys... Edit

I want to see how many people actually know the names of these two people. While they have never been named in the anime (in fact, they pretty much disappeared after the second episode), they are named in the manga. So my challenge for you guys is to give me the names of these two people. Bonus points for people that named them without looking up from the manga or the site. I think its Kulov and Niggy? They've both took each other out during the fighting festival, and I think they were the ones who gave Lucy the instructions to get to the Love and Lucky guild. I think Niggy is the one with the big tooth while kulov is the other. Neko mander 19:08, May 6, 2011 (UTC)

Fairy Tail X791 Edit

As of X791 after the timeskip, the only remaining Fairy Tail members except for the ones on Tenrou Island seem to be Macao, Reedus, Nab, Alzack, Bisca, Jet, Droy, Vijeeter, Wakaba, Warren, Max, Laki and Romeo. Should we assume that Tono, Joy, Kinana, Mickey etc. have left the guild in some way by dying, defecting or something like that? In that case, we would probably want to move them to the section of former members in the Fairy Tail Guild template, and write that they are not members anymore on their article pages. Or should we just wait and see if they appear later to find out what's really the deal with them?

Separation Edit

I think this page should be dedicated only to the Fairy Tail Guild, not the building they are in, and that the building should get it's own page. If you think about it, Fairy Tail (the guild that is apart of the association) and it's building are two entirely different things so why should they be treated the same? Look at the Location and Design section as well as the infobox, we need three switches for the infobox because Fairy Tail has had two different buildings and three different designs.... and in the Location and Design section we need a switch template to show the guilds former and current location, why? Why not just create a page for each of Fairy Tail's buildings. If we did it this way, we would be able to have detailed and accurate descriptions of each building, instead of skimpy ones all stuffed into one section on this page. All of the buildings would be linked to on this page, so the pages wouldn't be orphaned or forgotten about. Now, I know some of you may ask what we would use for Fairy Tail's infobox picture. Simple. We would use the Fairy Tail Symbol on a colored background, much like the picture here. I got this idea when I was on the Harry Potter Wiki and I noticed there separate pages for Hogwarts and Hogwarts Castle. What do you guys think? I agree with having a separate page for the building, but I don't think that having each building have it's own page would be necessary. I think just one page for all three buildings would be alright. But then again, each is considered a different location, so each one having a separate page seems reasonable. Not All Characters Left Edit

I know you're doing this because we haven't seen any, but there actually have been small panels with members we haven't seen before. You can mainly see this in chapter 259, page 15 we see a girl next to Jubia and Elfman as a new character. We also proceed to see one behind the Thunder God Tribe on page 17. Though they shouldn't get pages (as we don't know their names and such), I think writing "Left Guild" is an assumption as big as Azuma's death (which wasn't labeled as a death because it's an assumption). This is especially the case when it says in Wakaba's profile that he is giving Laki and Kinana a hard time. At the very least, Kinana's label is downright wrong and others are rather out of character. I think it should be changed to "Unknown" if anything. Will 09:51, January 29, 2012 (UTC)

I read that scene and I grant you that a strange girl besides Elfman and Jubia but the ones behind the Thunder God Tribe are Laki, Wakaba, Macao and Romeo. And still, in both anime and manga, someone said: "Losing members again?" That proves that the background characters left the guild (except Kinana in the anime). Loke Edit

I'm not sure if this has been brought up or not, but why is Loke listed as a Mage? Isn't he technically a Celestial Spirit?—This unsigned comment was made by Pie4ever0 (talk • contribs) .
