This is the talk page for the article "Capricorn".
Um, whoever said that Caprico will become one of Lucy's gold keys is pure speculation, I mean it is possible, as she has obtained every gold key so far in the series, but there is no telling if that is the case, and there is no confirmation that it is true. So I am going to delete it.User:Ash9876
Is it just me, or does his goatee and sideburns appear thicker after his introduction? Could this be a last minute re-design by Mashima? 22.214.171.124 14:36, January 12, 2011 (UTC)
Well, you are right, his goatee seems to be thicker, but I don't know what Mashima is intending though.User:Ash9876
Strongest Celestal Spirit?
Okay, you know how Loke is the strongest Celestial Spirit at the moment. Well, if Caprico is indeed a celestial spirit, then he would probably be regarded as the strongest after we have see his full powers right? As the Seven Kin of Pugatory are easily of elite S class level.User:Ash9876
Where was it mentioned that Loke was the strongest Stellar Spirit? Cause if it's the anime, it's not exactly canonical. In either case, we will find out over the course of the next few weeks just how strong each one is. Horologium4 04:34, January 16, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, I was just saying that's all.User:Ash9876
Okay so in the (as of now) latest chapter it was revealed that it was Zoldeo who was in control that whole time.
should we change Caprico's magic seeing as it was actually Zoldeo using those powers, or was that his magic and zoldeo was just using it through him?
yeah we should change the magic, since it was Zoldeo's magic. Also, should we change alot of the synopsis too/shorten it. Afterall, most of the action was actaully by Zoldeo, it just happened to be in Capricorns body so its not really a true synopsis of Capricorn, just Zoldeo. What do you guys think?Garyness 21:31, February 28, 2011 (UTC)
Since we're at it... Is it alright to impute to Capricorn most of the physical feats he performed while possessed by Zoldeo? I mean, the various kicks, the durability and the acrobatics... It was actually Zoldeo "ruling" back then... Though we migth think that Zoldeo, due to possessing the Spirit's body, was taking advantage of "Caprico"'s physical prowess and exclusive skills, seeing as Capricorn assaulted Hades physically while free of Zoldeo's control... So, to quote Garyness, what do you guys think? I'd be glad if someone could support my thesis, 'cause I really want my favourite Celestial Spirit to retain his abilities... :P

Aldarinor, if you look at the timestamp of Gary's comment, you'll see that it's from 9 months ago and you said "Since we're at it...", which mad me laugh.
What you said about adding his physical abilities, it's already there on the "Magic and Abilities" labeled "Master Physical Combatant". Seeing you fail two times, made me laugh even harder. XD20:19, November 14, 2011 (UTC)
I can still read a timestamp, you know. I placed the "Since we're at it" part there because, despite having been posted months ago, none actually answered Gary's post there...
And I still read pages, too. What must have been misunderstood is my post: what I was "criticizing" wasn't the Master Physical Combatant' absence from the page (which, on a side note, should normally be Master Hand to Hand Combatant... But I guess that's due to Capricorn's animal body)... Bur rather their presence. How can we be sure those kicks and those jumps are actually Capricorn's own work if at the time he was being controlled by Zoldeo? That's my question.
And I'd be glad if anyone answering next could avoid laughing at me. Thanks.

Lol. I wasn't laugh like "HAHA you suck", it was more of a "XD" laugh. Anyway, I don't get what you mean by "presence".20:31, November 15, 2011 (UTC)
I mean... Shouldn't the Master Physical Combatant skill be posted on Zoldeo's page instead of Capricorn's? As far as I'd like Capricorn to keep it (and maybe add more myself), he mostly gained that "title" while controlled by Zoldeo... Who's the unarmed master between them? That's what I'd like to know...

Well, I seriously doubt that Zoldeo would know how to do that when his real body is so small. Besides, Capricorn showed he fights hand to hand when Lucy summoned him to attack Hades.21:14, November 15, 2011 (UTC)
Alright, that's what I thought too. Better this way, I wouldn't have wanted Zoldeo to gain Capricorn's skills anyway :P

Great21:22, November 15, 2011 (UTC)
What he did in his fight with Hades is not enough to classify him as a "Master" Hand to Hand Combatant, expert at best. Also, the references given are only for his battle's while he was Zoldeo. So I'm going to go change it to Expert and fix the references.
I think we just got raped, Chairman... :P

Looks like we did and I hadn't noticed it until now...20:12, November 17, 2011 (UTC)
I notced that in these pictures that
Yeah, after 17 years I bet he was happy to go to spirit world and get some new clothes...13:40, March 6, 2012 (UTC)
No i mean in his appearence section it said that he wore formal clothes (like now) when he was with layla but in the flashback he was wearing the same clothes when he was possessed by zoldeo.
That was only in the anime, but in the manga he wore the outfit he is wearing12:05, March 11, 2012 (UTC)
Alright, so I was looking at his list of Magic and noticed how each of his Magics have some sort of designation (formerly; temporarily). However, with other characters (like Cana) who have been bestowed Magic on a non-permanent basis, we don't have those designations next to them. Would you guys think its a good idea to just remove them for Capricorn? or list them for anyone who gets it temporarily?
13:55, October 25, 2014 (UTC)
they should be listed imo14:51, October 25, 2014 (UTC)
I think I like the appeal of the second option more, same goes for Cana and other pages.16:38,10/25/2014

Status as a (former) antagonist
Technically he was never an antagonist since his body was controlled by Zoldeo. So should we change it?13:44, October 10, 2015 (UTC)
Hmm this is tricky, really. :/
As much as I agree and think this would make some sense, the fact stands that Zoldeo didn't switch bodies with Capricorn, but rather fused with him (thus the name Caprico as a portmanteau), something which could partly make him an antagonist as well. .-.
- That's a point, but in my view, either fused or controlled, Capricorn didn't have a free will and was forced to do what he did in Tenrou Island arc, even his feelings towards Lucy differed, while and after he was possessed by Zoldeo, I would say, he himself, the Celestial Spirit Capricorn was never an antagonist.
15:55, October 27, 2015 (UTC)
- It's tricky but I agree with hamody, zoldeo was the one who was controlling him so he's the antagonist instead of Capricorn 16:19,10/27/2015
Even if it wasn't his will, the character was introduced as a villain so...18:35, October 27, 2015 (UTC)
I agree with Reli. He was still a villain. If we say Capricorn isnt a former villain, we have to say Jellal was not a former villain as he was being controlled by Ultear. Both were villains, both should have the former antagonists category--
