Soul Absorbtion[]

I just noticed that currently the article only mentions Franmalth absorbing magic, but says nohting about his ability to absorb souls. And it made me think.

Should we split absorbtion into "Absorb Soul"/"Soul Absorbtion" and "Absorb Magic"/"Magic Absorbtion", since absorbing these two seems quite different in principle to me. NoNickNeeded (talk) 16:03, March 22, 2014 (UTC)

No, because Franmalth said, upon getting struck by Natsu's Lightning Flame Dragon's Roar, "What a wonderful soul." Happy was confused by it, and earlier Franmalth said his ability is to use souls that he has absorbed. Ergo, magic has a soul, which is why he can use Natsu's magic. It's really just a simple matter of me or someone else editing it to include the information that it lacks. No need to overcomplicate and split everything up into a bunch of little pieces.

Franmalth absorbs "the soul of the Magic", to which Happy was shocked the Magics had souls, so they are not different principles. The difference is that to absorb a living being's soul he needs to touch it as said in the Absorption Curse page, while this spell allows him to absorb Magic around him from the air as we can see him pulling/sucking it towards him in this 16:15, March 22, 2014 (UTC)

Absorption; not Copy 'curse'?[]

So when it absorbs the soul of the magic, does it mean that the victim (or user of said absorbed magic) can't use the magic anymore or until its soul is 'ejected' by the absorption user?--124.195.208.242 13:05, June 18, 2014 (UTC)
