Lucy Ashley vs. Frog Monster is a fight fought between Mage of The Edolas Fairy Tail Guild, Lucy Ashley, and a Frog Monster from Edolas.

PrologueEdit

Natsu Dragneel and the others finish telling the members of Edolas Fairy Tail who they are and where they came from. The members are skeptical at first but believe them, seeing that the Natsu is front of them isn't the same as the Natsu they know. Natsu then asks for direction towards the capital and Wendy explains that their friends have been absorbed by Edolas' king. Edolas Wendy and the other members try to discourage Natsu and the others' attempt to save their friends, describing the dangers that they will face and the might of the Royal Army. Edo Fairy Tail tells Natsu and the others to give up and return to their world. However, Natsu ignores their warnings and asks for directions again, leaving the Edo Fairy Tail members dumbfounded.^[1]

As the team heads towards the Royal Kingdom, Natsu is enjoying himself with the wildlife. He tries to capture a small frog-like creature while Wendy and the cats watch him, discussing their journey. The group are forced to walk since the cats' Aera aren't working properly. Natsu tries to get Happy to help him catch the frog, planning to give it to Lucy, but Happy declines, thinking that Lucy wouldn't like it. As Natsu tries to hop towards the little frog, he accidentally bombs into another frog-like creature. However, this creature is gigantic and begins to attack the group.^[2]

BattleEdit

Without their Magic, the group is forced to run for it. Natsu tries to attack it with his fist but ends up flying. Suddenly, a shadow appears. The shadow is revealed to be Edolas Lucy who attacks the frog with a Magical Whip. The power of Edo Lucy's attack causes the frog monster to collapse, unconscious.^[3][4]

AftermathEdit

Carla asks Edo Lucy what she was doing there. Edo Lucy tells the group that it was dangerous in that area and, seeing Natsu's smile, blushes, adding that she wasn't worried about them at all. Natsu then approaches Edo Lucy and pats her on the shoulder, saying that he really is Lucy. Natsu and Happy plan to get Lucy to see her counterpart, wanting to see the real Lucy's reaction. Irritated, Edo Lucy attacks them and punishes Natsu with her Technique 12: The Back Crack Bridge, causing Wendy and Carla to worry whether they would be able to last five days with Lucy punishing Natsu all the time.^[4][5]
