Huge Lack of References
Edit
Ok, so I was browsing through character pages and I noticed that there was a severe lack of references. Many wiki's don't think that references are important(not saying that is what is happening here), and I find that a bit disappointing. When I am on a character's page and I see something stated, If I don't remember it I might want to check to see if it is valid and there is no way to do that unless there is a reference to correspond. So what I am suggesting is that from henceforth if any information is added to any character's page it have a reference to correspond, and that all the information that is on the site so far be searched through and referenced. Since this is a relatively new series it wouldn't be that hard to reference the previous information and making sure that the new information is simple as well. All that would have to be done is that whenever a new chapter comes out, undo anything that is added on without proper reference.
Also another thing about the Master, and Expert Magician thing, I think there should be something that clearly defines what these are. Like telling what a Master Magician is and what qualifies a character to be a Master or Expert Magician if at all possible. I would like to have other people's feedback on this. --Iam...JakuhoRaikoben 05:57, February 4, 2011 (UTC)
I understand what you mean. Usually, if I post new materials that no one seems to know, I would also add a reference to it if someone wants to know where it came from. There are a few that I haven't added yet (such as the Heartfilia Konzern is bought out by Junelle Corporation, which the info came from volume 16 bonus, Sorcerer magazine...) but I intend to add them soon... However, the reference must be something that's important/interesting, otherwise it would only be taking up spaces.
About the whole "Master" and "Expert" magician things, those are actually fan term, and not from Mashima himself. Personally, I would delete them as it contributes nothing to the confirmed contents. You can't really determine what is a Master Magician and an Expert Magician from abilities alone, and it needs to be have some form of explanation to determine it. I can see what you mean here, so if I did reference something it would have to be interesting info so that I wouldn't take up too much space. I would agree that the Master and Expert terms should be deleted since they aren't clearly defined or from Mashima. --Iam...JakuhoRaikoben 16:14, February 4, 2011 (UTC)
