1. Do you edit any other wikis?
Sometimes. However, I am most active here on Fairy Tail wiki, and rarely edit on any other wikis (the most wiki I edit on outside this one, is Fairy Tail Answers.)
2. If yes, can any users from those wikis vouch for you being a good editor?
I suppose I couldn't...
3. If you answered yes to the previous question, provide their usernames.
{{{If you answered yes to the previous question, provide their usernames.}}}
4. Do you have sufficient knowledge regarding basic wiki codes, such as adding images to the text, creating links and formatting text?
Yes.
5. How often can you edit?
I edit regularly, and as often as needed. My most frequent edits would be whenever a new chapter comes out. I usually update existing character pages, and new ones if ever. I do not, however, create new pages because I do not feel authorized (and most likely isn't anyway) to do so.
6. Is English your native language?
No, but it's our second language.
7. How good is your grammar?
I'm pretty fluent.
8. And now, time to show off some grammar. Tell us something about yourself in five sentences. If you don't feel at ease by revealing personal information to strangers living in the other part of the world, feel free to invent something fictional. What you tell us doesn't have to make sense. Just be grammatically correct!
{{{And now, time to show off some grammar. Tell us something about yourself in five sentences. Just be grammatically correct!}}}
9. Why do you want to join the Grammar Guild?
As I have stated on my user page, I value proper grammar strongly. I have wanted to join the Grammar Guild from the very first time I've heard of it, however, some users (such as TheCarrotSaysYumYum) have told me that it was not available for the time being. But despite not being a member of the GG, I regularly check articles for any grammatical/typographical errors, however small they may be (such as punctuations, capitalizations, etc.) Also, I want FT wiki to have one of, if not the best and most accurate articles, content-wise and grammar-wise.
10. If accepted, when could you start?
Immediately. I would edit the Lucy Heartfilia relationships page, which I have been editing for some time now. There are still sections and contents which do not satisfy me. Also, I'd like to fix some little errors I found on the Erza Scarlet page.

I've been waiting for it cause this is what i'm good at.I usually read every page on the wiki and correct most of the grammer mistakes I see.
Mind expanding that seventh answer a bit? And, even with the best will of this world, I couldn't understand what you meant with the eight answer... "Because as soon as comming soon"?

9. Why do you want to join the Grammar Guild?
I want to contribute to the wiki, and make myself more known to the others.
"Why do we have to introduce yourselves?"? Simply to show me your grammar skills. Besides, the question clearly states that, if you're not comfortable revealing senstitive information about yourself, you can invent whatever you want, as long as grammar is good. You should expand that 7th question and make it more articulated if you want to be admitted to the guild.

9. Why do you want to join the Grammar Guild?
I wanna join because I want to expand my contribution to this wiki
I'm starting to think some candidates answer questions without actually reading them... Let's examine the seventh question together, shall we?
"And now, time to show off some grammar. Tell us something about yourself in five sentences. If you don't feel at ease by revealing personal information to strangers living in the other part of the world, feel free to invent something fictional. What you tell us doesn't have to make sense. Just be gramatically correct!"
The highlighted parts are pretty clear: you do not have to share personal information with us, just invent! The purpose of this seventh question is to show us the level of your grammar! The answer needs to be long, articulated and gramatically correct. If it doesn't meet the requirements (like the one line-long one you just came up with), then you can't be admitted. It's as simple as that. If you want to have a chance and join the Grammar Guild, you'll have to expand it.
Since I'm at it, a message to all and every candidate who were to apply in the future: READ THE QUESTIONS -.-"

9. Why do you want to join the Grammar Guild?
I want to join this guild because I want to expand my contribution to this wiki.
Now it's WAY better, but... Could you expand it a little bit more? Don't care if you say that you come from Mars or you're Bill Gates, you just have to make it a little bit longer and articulated... :P
Alright, I must say that I'm REALLY satisfied with the length. It doesn't matter whether it's a story, the important thing is that it's something you wrote, so I'm pleased. Point is, there were some grammatical mistakes there... Too many, according to those who keep saying that I should be stricter when accepting recruits. Sorry Blah, but you still have ways to go before joining. I hope you won't take this as an insult or a personal offense, and I'd be glad to welcome you in the Guild if you took some time to improve grammar a little bit and then came back ;)

sorry why its like that my answer in the show your talent question doesnt works but by the way just read it here I have to live with myself and so I want to be fit for myself to know,I want to be able as days go by,To look at myself straight in the eye.I don't want to stand with the setting sun, And hate myself for the things I've done.I don't want to hide on a closet shelf, its A lot of secrets about myself, And fool myself as I come and go, Into thinking that nobody else will know, What kind of man I really am; I don't want to dress myself in sham.mI cannot hide myself from me; I can see what others can never see; I know what others can never know, I cannot fool myself and so. Whatever happens, I want to be Self-respecting and conscience free. LiangTalk15:16,6/22/2012

Besides, no idea why the seventh answer space doesn't seem to be working for some of you.
Let's see, I love Fairy Tail (pretty obvious), I watch it all the time (almost every day) well, If I have time. I'm addicted to any kind of sweets, mostly chocolates, chocolates are heaven. *.* I like watching anime, comedy, action and The legend of KORRA! My hobbies are reading awesome books and, I like to take pictures of stuff. I mostly take pictures of flowers from our garden or nature? xD Also, I enjoy many here in Fairy Tail wiki...and ummm.... guess I'm done xD!

Hi! My name is Sherry Blendy. You can just call me Sherry. I'm new here so maybe you didn't really know me. I love Fairy Tail, both the manga and anime. The reason why I love Fairy Tail is because it's full of funny moments and it also teaches me that friends are one of the most important part in our lives. My favorite characters are Mirajane and Laxus, because they're both strong, and their magic is also cool. As for my least favorite character, I pick Raven Tail, because they are the biggest enemy of Fairy Tail.

I want to join the Grammar Guild because I want to help improving Fairy Tail Wiki's contents.

I'll place it here, since I 'm not sure if there's a problem with it.
"Greetings! I'm Usagi and a new member of Fairy Tail Wiki. I'm an Anime , Manga , Game , and a Figure Otaku. My friend invited me to Fairy Tail Wiki as she found out that editing is indeed fun. Romance and Adventure would be my favorite genres.
I like Fairy Tail because I love Hiro Mashima's art style.
I'm not really confident in my grammar, but feel free to tell me if I'm doing it right."
Yes, there does seem to be a problem with the template. We'll have that cleared up with the designers. As to your application.....
Would Be Considered -
You're really "on the line" when it comes to a user I would either reject or accept mainly cause I wanna be nice into the guild.
Try editing by yourself for now and I'll observe you as you go. Some other users will be asked for opinions. Also, please lengthen your answer to the 7th question. It can help a decision be made.

I am no good at drawing live things.I love my cat Felix(Just saying she`s a girl)the most out of all my pets.I play the piano and own a guitar.I love biking, swimming, reading, eating
I'm sorry but I don't believe you meet the requirements to join our guild. Your spacing and capitalization don't seem to be particularly good and to be honest, your application has too many "Depends" for me to believe you'll be a regular Mage. Also, you're still new to the site so I think you should spend more time understanding how things work.
I hope this doesn't discourage you from applying in the future. Good luck.

So I can find work to do. It's hard to think of things on your own, and it seems like people would prefer that major contributions be done by the guilds, so it makes sense to join one.

Beautiful? Sure. Gonna get you into the Grammar Guild....?
Most of your answers to the questions have poor spelling, improper capitalization and punctuation.
You wanna get into the Grammar Guild? Then you've got to have good grammar and spelling. Also, don't copy your answer to the 7th question (pretty much the most important one) from anything or anywhere else.

I am Kokorochas and some users already know me here especially those in chat. I don't want to talk about my real work and personal life but I will assure you and everyone else that I am always true to myself and I am a dedicated fellow when it comes to work. I started watching FT last February 2012 and ever since I found out Fairy Wiki, I updated myself right away and was able to reach the knowledge of most of the followers. Honestly speaking, I am not that keen when it comes to codes and as for that, I can give surety that errors will be arrested in terms of grammar which I will be accomplishing if given the chance. I am also a fault finder which I believe is a trait that needs to be exemplified when it comes to doing a job like this.
Thank you for applying to the Grammar Guild. We regret to inform you that, after due consideration, we will no longer be accepting new members. We thank you for your understanding and hope you will consider applying in the event we reopen applications.

Hi Darinor, how many job requests can we take at one time? All of us wanted to know so I came to ask you about it. I luv Fairy Tail 08:59, May 10, 2012 (UTC)
"Sigh" Guess you don't have a given limit of Jobs, especially seeing as the Guild hasn't existed for even a day and yet some of you guys managed to complete several requests... :P
I think the only limits you could impose yourselves should come from common sense. I'd advise you not to get overloaded with requests for both a matter of stress and to show respect for fellow guildmates who could be interested in jobs you might have taken for yourselves, but might not currently be handling. It depends on you, I don't have any special limit I'd like to set. If you think you can handle tons of work and greatly improve grammar around here... Then please do ;)
Alright guys, we made it. The Grammar Guild is, at last, up. I've heard that many of you were eager for such a guild to exist... And now it exists. Guess that's a nice starting point.
Fine, first of all I'd like to welcome you all, and thank you for choosing to give this newborn project a try. So, WELCOME AND THANK YOU FOLKS! OTA, SPEED BOATS FOR EVERYONE! =D
For those of you who might not know or were too stupid to actually read the names in the members' list xD, I'm your Guild Master, Aldarinor. Feel free to call me DaRinor, Al, Ald, Pops, Oyaji, Thunder God or simply Master xD
I'd like the atmosphere in our group to be a cosy and relaxed one. Feel no urge to finish your jobs in a hurry, don't overdo it, and don't get yourselves stressed over grammar. Take all the time you need to do what you're doing. If you want a job to be added to the list, simply leave me a message, and we'll be free to discuss how much Jewels should the given job be worthy. All the jobs you do will be checked and will grant you the settled amount of Jewels... If the tasks you complete aren't checked as soon as I'm around the site, just remember that I'm a mere human being like you guys (did I just make a gaffe by saying that you're all humans or I'm fine? :P)! Don't worry, all the jobs you handle will eventually be examined, and your efforts rewarded! ;)
If issues or important decisions to be taken were to show up, I'd like to avoid settling them myself as the Master, instead making use of community votations to settle things. We're a guild, aftr all. All of you guys have the same rights... Though particularly capable writers who were to prove their worth might aspire to the élite title of S-Class Mage. I'm afraid it won't be possible for EVERYONE to make it to such rank, since a guild can't be composed exclusively of S-Class Mages... Still, I might entrust the decision to you, making you guys vote which users you'd like to be recognized for their achievements. Know, however, that élite Mages won't have significant special privileges, and, in turn, will be harrassed and overworked by the undersigned...
Just kidding xD
...
... Or not? xD
Anyhow, as for you guys, remember to stand tall, since we're currently the most populated Guild on the entire site... The day of our fondation. Hell yeah, that's the way! You are Mages of the Grammar Guild, the Shadowy Checkers, Unseen Commandos who make the site better with simple, non-flashy edits...
... To make it short, you're the Aldarinor Pirates (アルダリノル海賊団 Arudarinoru Kaizokudan)! =D
...
Yes, that's it. Remember that if the first three nicknames are debatable, the fourth ISN'T!
Hahaha XD Here, I comment. Thanks for being a cool, good and fair master to us? (i saw some words...), Master Aldee! (Aldee's a cute name XD) ^_^ Red♫ 16:08, May 11, 2012 (UTC)
I....I... I didn't even know I was in the GG... Why nobody told me? T^T I'm going to work hard Master Darinor !! Niji ♥
Lucy Heartfilia Page[]
Master, I'm almost done with Lucy's page but I can't complete it because the Key of the Starry Sky arc is empty. I haven't watched that part of the anime yet so I can't update it. (_ _) D'you think anyone can help me?
★Alois 06:47, May 15, 2012 (UTC)
Sure thing! Guess you could ask for Ota's help, since she follows EXCLUSIVELY the anime and writes reviews about the episodes every week... If Ota was busy (something which sadly enough seems to be the case recently, poor gal... School's a burden for everyone 'round here :P), you might ask Carrot... And if Carrot was busy or didn't want to, well, think I could try and help you out myself... ;)
Maybe...... Jellal Fernandes?
Or something that is suitable for new mages? Jewels......you may decide the amount according to my job.
Thanks for replying......
From: Laven Heartfilla
... Jellal's already on the board, and, most importantly, has already been taken by Carrot... -.-
Then, Master can just put any job there as long as it is vacant.......
--Laven 01:52, May 19, 2012 (UTC)
I'm the one supposed to place them there, given that I have to add Jewels... But if you guys want to place jobs yourselves WITHOUT adding the amount of Jewels and then discuss it with me, then I think you can proceed.
Please add Juvia Lockser as a job in the request board ..... Thanks......
--Laven Heartfilla 16:07, May 20, 2012 (UTC)
Hey...[]
hey master darinor can u put in more jobs. Animaltamer7
I've added several jobs to the list, though I'd rather have you guys ask me to add a GIVEN job you'd like to handle and to suggest the amount of rewarded Jewels for it...
I'd like to remind/inform you guys that the tense we're supposed to be using on articles is the PRESENT, and that PAST tenses should only be placed in characters' History sections... I also employ them to a certain degree with "Personality" and "Magic and Abilities", but only if I'm recounting an instance related to what I'm describing (Random Trivia Moment :P).
So, well... Keep up the good work and remember that Present's the right time and the one which will get you candies.
I just read this now What about the issue with the captions, Cap'n; the period, and the form of the verbs? Since our Wiki is known for it's uniformity (I think so), it should be the same for the pictures too, IMO. Should we caption with gerunds or infinitives; and should there be periods, or none?
★Alois 03:28, May 29, 2012 (UTC)
I tend to use the present continuous for captions (if by captions you mean the writings placed in thumbs below pictures, that is...). An example would be this:
I do so because what the picture shows, in some way, is "always happening" due to the image's presence on the page, and thus I think it should be described as such.
The "period matter" we talked about should be discussed further though.
Hope you went through the previous post regarding tenses :P
As you might have realized by yourselves, there's a huge pile of completed Jobs waiting to be checked. You guys REALLY worked hard, and I'm particularly proud of some of you (not giving names though, I'll let you think about them yourselves).
Point is, I won't be correcting those Jobs in the immediate future.
"Why?", you might be asking.
The answer is simple: because my final exams are getting nearer and nearer, and I need to pass with a mark good enough to enter the special facilities of the college I'd like to attend. Something which might take some dedication to be achieved. Here's the matter.
"What about our Jobs then? Who the fuck will be checking them? How will we know who got the Mage of the Month title, uh?". This might likely be your next question.
What to say... You guys can either wait and learn the answer in some time (and for "some time" I mean "SOME TIME", since my exams won't be finished before the first weeks of July, and then I'd like to go on holyday with my friends... Sorry if I'm human too :P) or... You can check them among you guys, by having a look at each other's work. That would likely be the best solution (for those of you who are not experiencing a situation similar to mine, that is... For those who were... Guys, it's really a pain in the ass, isn't it?). Some members, namely Ultra and Alois (yup, giving names this time) already offered me their help in checking stuff... As I said, you guys can do the same, wait SOME TIME, or stage a coup d'etat and kick me out and find yourself a Guild Master with more free time at his/her disposal.
Salutations, my fellow Mages! I am the guild's resident evil Onion, Alois! And before any of you go bat-shat crazy on why a mere Mage like myself is posting something like this on the talk page, I got consent from DaRinor-sama, okay!? *Defensive*
So! As you know, Ultra-san and I have been helping the Captain double-check the pages you guys have finished, before finally marking them as Complete, and tagging them under the Completed Archive. In the few pages I have checked, there are a few issues things which, while not exactly what you'd call mistakes, I have noticed to be quite odd/out of place.
Number one: the multiple-links. This is, of course, not our doing, but of the ones who originally created/updated the article. But as Mages whose jobs are to correct after said articles, this automatically becomes a part of our responsibilities as well. So boring lectures on the importance of our roles as Grammar Guild Mages aside, the point is that double-links are unnecessary, and of course, should could be taken down. An example is that if Natsu Dragneel has already been mentioned once in the beginning paragraph of an article, there's no need to link Natsu anymore, in the succeeding ones.
Number two: Me and the Master kind of have disagreeing views on this (as with the one above and a lot of things too), but there's also the matter of including or excluding apostrophes in the links. Should we decide on this? Well we're a democratic community, are we not? So let's vote on this! *Cue: Background of the National Flag of whichever country you're from*
To include, or not include. That is the question! Also, Rai-sempai, as our Supervisor, what's your take on this?
Number three: periods in captions. So Cap'n and I both agree that captions look better with periods, as it makes the text look complete, and not just a hanging phrase. Also, as what he said, most other Wikis put periods in their captions, unlike with ours. Since there is an inconsistency with some captions ending with a period, while others don't, it kind of goes against our Wiki's typical uniformity. My vote goes to putting period.
Number four: tense/form of the verb in captions. Since events are portrayed in the present tense, it's natural that the captions be written in the same format as well (I've seen some supposedly completed pages that still had past tense!). Cap'n said using present progressive (meaning, verbs end in -ing) is much better, since it depicts the picture like it is happening in the present. Unfortunately, there are still a lot of captions that are in the simple present tense, so there is an inconsistency. Yet. Again.
Alright, fellow GG Mages! Give me your takes on these matters above, so that I can finally be at peace since I'm the only one being egged on by them we may settle them once and for all! And I better see four answers, after all the effort I put on this! XD *Ignores all the incredulous, why-the-fudge-did-you-even-bother-with-this-if-you're-gonna-complain stares you're all giving me*
1.Support - We should exclude the apostrophes because, in source mode it's longer.. Maybe we should add periods in captions if it is needed..(For sentences) And exclude them if it's only a phrase.. JeRzaLeave A MessageTalk! 10:44 AM, 6/2/2012
2.Support - I think we should exclude apostrophes in the links as it looks funny and maybe it will confuse the readers. One question, what is periods in captions?
Dear Theblahman,
