Fight Summary GuildEdit

The Fight Summary Guild are a group of Fairy Tail Wiki users who have the task of summarizing the different fights and events in the series. All users should read our Fight Summary Guidelines, before you begin.

Roles of the Fight Summary GuildEdit

The following are the duties of the guild:

1. To add summaries for the many fights in the series.

2. To assure all fight summaries are detailed and correct.

3. To improve our wiki one summary at a time.

4. To create and write summaries about events.

InactiveEdit

All users that go a month without doing at least two summaries will be tagged as "Inactive", and if you go two months without taking a job you will be excommunicated.

Former MagesEdit

ProcessEdit

Here at the Fight Summary Guild, you choose fights or events from below and write a summary of it. You may take a maximum of one fight job and one event job at the same time, and write the summary for them. If you see a job that you want to take, simply put *taken* and your signature beside it. Once you are finished, place *jobcompleted* beside it, and it will be checked for completion.

When signing up for a fight please use ~~~ instead of ~~~~ so that your timestamp isn't left.

Joining the Fight Summary GuildEdit

If you wish to join the Guild, fill out the application below and post it on the guild's talk page, and after your application has been reviewed, I will add your name to the list of members. All users must not be anonymous users. If you wish to join the guild, you must create an account.

Excommunication from the GuildEdit

Any users that go at least two months without writing a summary will be excommunicated from the Guild. When you are excommunicated, you must take our Guild's Badge off of your userpage within two days of being notified of your excommunication. If you do not remove it, one of your fellow Guild members will. Before a Mage is excommunicated, they must be warned at least 2 weeks in advance. The Guild Master or an S-Class Mage should handle this. Excommunications aren't permanent and if you wish to rejoin the Guild, simply re-apply.

Fight & Event Summary GuidelinesEdit

The format of any fight summary should be in the format found here and here for events.

The fights, battles and events should be featured in a detailed format corresponding to what actually took place in the series not what any one person thinks what happen or what they want to take place.

Links - please consider providing one where you think that the reader of the summary might want more information on either a character or a term.

You must references the info you place on the fight and event summaries as you are adding it, not later. If any info is added to the fight page and it isn't referenced it will be deleted automatically.

All users who write fight and event summaries should practice good grammar when editing, and all info should be written with in universe wording. Meaning that phrases such as in Episode 37, or in Chapter 15, or in the Anime, are not allowed.

The extensions that are added in the Anime are fine and should be added to the fight pages.

Manga always takes precedent over the anime, so if the anime censors something that happens then simply add what happened in the manga.

If the anime adds on to fights or events then add that info. Then continue from where it left off in the manga.

Everything in the fight or event that happened in the manga should have a manga reference. If it happened in the anime only then it should have an anime reference.

Adding info that happened in the manga with an anime reference is considered a faulty reference and the page will not be considered complete.

Write in the Present Tense, not in past tense, for example write:

Lucy then kicks Natsu and sends him flying through a wall.
Not:
Lucy then kicked Natsu and sent him flying through a wall.
Try not to overuse "ing", and avoid sentences like...
Lucy is then seen kicking Natsu and sending him flying through a wall.

Flesh out the details. Action for action is fine and is what is expected.

Try to complete the fights and events in order as to not cause confusion.

The previous, concurrent, and next categories of the fight infobox should be filled out and linked even if those fights haven't been created yet.

All pages should be well illustrated with high quality and relevant pictures.

Contact Ishthak if you need anime pictures.

The profile pic for the fight should include at least one combatant from each side of the fight.

If you cannot finish a page that you started, don't worry about it. Simply remove your name off of it, and another user will finish it for you.

The injury levels for fights are as follows:

Character is uninjured
Character is slightly injured
Character is moderately injured
Character is grievously injured
Character is killed

All fight pages must be created with the users full name. The word "and" should not be included in the title, instead use &, and vs should have a period after it.

It should look like this: Natsu Dragneel vs. Ultear Milkovich

In all event pages, characters that die should have a cross (†) next to their name.

Once your job page is checked for completion it should be added to the character's Battles & Events section like this:
