Erza Scarlet vs. Aria is a fight fought between S-Class Mage of Fairy Tail, Erza Scarlet and S-Class Mage of Phantom Lord, Aria of the Element 4.

PrologueEdit

When a walking Phantom Lord Guild arrives in Magnolia Town the shoot Magical Convergent Cannon - Jupiter that could have eliminated all of Fairy Tail in one shot if Erza Scarlet had not requipped into her Adamantine Armor and took the blow of Jupiter by herself. Her heroic act knocks her out of commission.^[1]

As Natsu Dragneel, Gray Fullbuster and Elfman Strauss are looking for a way to stop the Super Giant Mage Phantom MK II from using Abyss Break, he is confronted by Aria, and is no match for him. Aria, deciding to end the battle, uses his spell Metsu on Natsu, and just as he is about to get his Magic Power sucked out of him, Erza intervenes.^[2]

BattleEdit

Erza appears and kicks Aria in the face, and Natsu asks Erza if she is sure she should be moving around with those injuries. Erza expresses her anger at Aria for what he did to Makarov and Aria says that it is sad that not only will the head of the Salamander roll, but also the Titania's. Aria says that if he is going to be fighting Erza even he should take it seriously, and takes off his blindfold, revealing his eyes.^[3]

Aria tells Erza to come at him, and that he has activated the airspace of death, Zero, and that this Magic consumes all life. Erza is angered by Aria's words and asks how he can steal people's lives so easily.

Aria ignores her question and tells her to just have fun. Erza rushes towards Aria, he wonders if she can survive the airspace and uses Zero. Erza, however, slices through the airspace, requips to Heaven's Wheel Armor and attacks him with Blumenblatt. Aria falls and Erza says that Master could never have been defeated by the likes of him.^[4]

AftermathEdit

With all of the Element 4 defeated, the Super Giant Mage Phantom MK II stops casting Abyss Break and breaks down. However, as a result of Gajeel Redfox's fight, he manages to capture Lucy Heartfilia.^[5]
