Code Blue is the 429th chapter of Hiro Mashima's Fairy Tail.
Natsu, Lucy, and Happy are restrained in a cell as Gômon interrogates them. Not believing that their only objective in infiltrating Avatar is to retrieve Gray, he attempts to kill Lucy, only to be stopped by the Devil Slayer himself. Gray then calls a colleague and tosses Natsu the phone, who is then admonished for disrupting Gray's infiltration plan by none other than Erza.
Summary[]
As Lucy, Happy and Natsu are in a jail cell, Happy wonders about Lucy, who is unable to do any action due to Magic Sealing Stones. Being angry at him, Natsu wonders what happened to Gray. Lucy then wonders why Gray turned bad, thinking he is being controlled, with Happy supporting her suspicion.
Gômon prepares to kill Lucy
Soon after, Gômon arrives to tell the group about the preparations for the purification ritual and his order to get some information out of them. Before doing so, however, he proceeds by explaining that the ritual is actually planned to lure Zeref by taking victims' lives and after displaying his weird personality, Gômon suddenly gets serious so he ties Lucy with chains and keeps her bound and gagged, preparing her for torture. As Natsu and Happy unsuccessfully try to stop him, Gômon comes up with many ways of torturing Lucy, eventually deciding to get her feet licked by a goat by dipping her feet in the salt water. The torture is about to begin, but after Natsu tells the latter they will bring Gray back to normal, he gets infuriated all of the sudden and stretches Lucy's arms and legs, desiring to slice her in a half with an axe.
However, he gets frozen just as he is about to do so, the one responsible for it being none other than Gray himself, who turns out to be Code Blue all along. Briefly, he uses his phone and starts calling the mysterious Code Red, with his marks dripping from his face, turning out to be fake. He then lends Natsu a phone, with the latter hearing a familiar voice, belonging to none other than Erza.
