Code ETD is the 179th chapter of Hiro Mashima's Fairy Tail.
Seeing an opportunity to strike against the Exceeds, Faust invokes Code ETD, changing Nichiya and his guards into a giant cat-shaped Lacrima. During the commotion, Lucy, Happy and Carla head towards Natsu and Wendy. However, Erza Knightwalker catches up to the group and as she is about to kill them, Erza Scarlet and Gray Fullbuster arrive and begin their counterattack.

Added by TutlesWatching Lucy, Happy and Carla surrounded by the Royal Guards and the Imperial Guards, Faust and orders the activation of Code ETD. Meanwhile, Carla is telling Happy and Lucy to go inside a building when a horn is suddenly blown followed by flags being raised. Code ETD, the final defense plan for national security, is then invoked. Rays of light come from all corners and shine on the Exceeds. Lucy and Happy wonder what is going on but Carla tells them to head for Wendy and Natsu. Erza Knightwalker notices them and orders her guards to fortify the defenses on the west tower basement. Meanwhile, the Exceeds are turned into a giant cat-shape Lacrima. Before being turned to the Lacrima, Nichiya tells the humans that the queen will avenge them.

The king then announces that it is the time for them to overrule the Exceeds. Hughes and Sugarboy happily anticipates their rebellion while Pantherlily seems angry after realizing that that was the reason why there was a military build up. The guards are not convinced by Faust, saying that the queen will retaliate. The king then reveals the reason why he captured the Dragon Slayers and ordered Byro to proceed with the extraction of their Magic.

Suddenly, they hear Wendy's screams. Lucy asks what is happening while Carla begs them to stop. Knightwalker ignores the questions, saying that they are going to die there anyway. Happy then stands up and shields Carla from her, saying that he will not let her touch her. Knightwalker then decides to kill Happy first when the wall behind her suddenly explodes. Looking at the explosion, the group sees Erza Scarlet and Gray Fullbuster defeating some of the Royal Guards. Gray then states that anyone who harms a member of Fairy Tail is their enemy.
